The anime was broadcast on Animax’s English Network on July 11, 2020. Kazuomi Koga is the director of the anime. The anime was animated by TMS Entertainment Studio.

What’s the plot of Rent-A-Girlfriend season two?

The daily life of Kazuya Kinoshita, the protagonist, will be portrayed in season 1. Season 2 will also be shown. After his girlfriend left him, he became a lonely boy. He wants to escape this lonely life and rents a girl. He used to spend money for such rent. Chizuru Mizuhara is also his rent girl. However, the girl he rents to be his girlfriend is likely to end up being the girl he had been dreaming of.

The girl appears to be acting as his girlfriend before his friends, however. Suddenly, one day Kazuya’s grandmother was hospitalized and Chizuru stands as his girlfriend around his family too. It was when they discovered that they were neighbors and shared the same school, that the most difficult part occurred. That leads to the other rent girl going after Kazuya.

1. Kazuya Kinoshita

Kazuya Kinoshita plays the role of the protagonist in this series. He is also a student at Nerima University. At the moment, he lives alone in his apartment in Royal Hills Nerima. Further, he is less confident in what he does. He used to believe lies. He soon discovered that those lies were a major problem. He believes telling lies would make things easier because he is weak at explaining the world around him.

2. Chizuru Ichinose

Chizuru Ichinose works as a girlfriend and receives rent. She is also a student at Nerima University, the same university as the male protagonist. Kazuya is her neighbor and she was also uninformed about this. Her job as a girlfriend in a rental house has earned her a high rating. She is a hothead sometimes, but she does have a great job. She is actually too kind. Kazuya is in real trouble, so she used to show her kindness often.

3. Mami Nanami

Kazuya’s ex-girlfriend is Mami Nanami. He was also the reason she left him. Plus, she often displays two types of personality. The first is the one she displays when she hangs out with the public. Another is when she is by herself. In public, she can be very friendly and cheery. However, when she’s alone, she becomes more sociopathic. This is because she enjoys being out in the wild around Kazuya or Chizuru.

Even though she left Kazuya, she still searched for the girl he was dating. However, she continues to love him despite doing these things.

4. Ruka Sarashina

Ruka Sarashina, a different kind of person, has a slower heart beat than any other person. She is looking for a boy who will be able to adapt to her lifestyle. In addition, she is straightforward when talking to others and does not believe what other people think. Additionally, she is very kind-hearted. She is also looking for a boyfriend because she believes that her heart problems will be solved faster if she has someone to share them with.
