Always a Witch is a Colombian romantic comedy series that airs on Netflix. It follows a 17-year-old slave who happens to also be a witch. The young witch accepted a deal to save herself from being burned at the stake and time-traveled to Colombia today.

She vowed to never use her powers again but circumstances will force her to end the agreement.

Netflix to Stream ‘Always a Witch’ Season 3

“Always A Witch” has yet to be renewed for season 3. There are currently 18 episodes of the show, which spans two seasons on Netflix.

Netflix released Season 2 in February 2020. However, Netflix has not commented on its renewal status.

When will ‘Always a Witch’ Season 3 be released on Netflix?

It is still unclear if the show will be renewed. Although 2022 seems likely, we don’t have any news at this time.

Both Season 1 and Season 2 were released on the platform in February. Season 1 was launched on February 19, 2019, with ten episodes. Season 2 was released on February 28, 2020, with eight episodes.

The Plot: What is ‘Always a Witch’ all about? And what could happen in Season 3?

” Always a Witch” is the story of Carmen Eguilez (a 17th Century slave-witch) who falls in love with Cristobal, the slave owner’s son.

A relationship between a black slave and a white man during that time was not accepted by society. Cristobal’s mother Isabel discovered Carmen’s relationship and accused Carmen of witchcraft. The latter was then sentenced to burn at the stake.

Aldemar, a powerful wizard, offered Carmen a way out before the execution.

She could travel to a time where people don’t believe in witches.

But there is a catch: she must swear that she will never use her powers again.

Carmen was desperate for her life and agreed to travel to Colombia.

Carmen was no longer bound by slavery and she was able to start a new life. She even got into college.

No matter what she does to try to conceal it, her true nature will be exposed.

Season 2 saw Carmen trying to increase her powers to travel back and save her mother.

As the season progresses we will see Carmen master her powers.

If the show is renewed for season 3, it’s likely that Carmen, a stronger character, will embark on an adventure more thrilling than in previous seasons.

As the show has yet to be renewed, there is no official cast list. If the show is renewed, however, it’s most likely that the following main cast members will reprise their roles.
