Batman’s Best Villains

Batman's Villains

Batman’s Villains. Over the past 80 years, the Batman story has been told many times over in comic books, television shows and franchises. multi-million dollar movies. The Batman was the last of these franchises to be launched in March 2022 with Robert Pattinson directing. As exciting as Pattinson’s casting as a hero was for many, the Dark Knight’s encounter with the villain or group of villains is arguably the most memorable part any Batman movie.

The Batman stars Catwoman and the Penguin as well as the Riddler. Take a look at which villains are most popular and how different fans view them. Also, see how different Batman movies have affected the opinions of the fans.

Top Best Villains

Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy

1997’s Batman & Robin may have forgotten that Poison Ivy is an eco-terrorist and one of the most famous Batman villains. This Gotham City siren can do almost anything with plants and is a deadly foe. She can seduce any man, even Superman, to her will.

After being forced to eat – or was injected, depending on the origin story, a poisonous plant, she becomes the ravenous Poison Ivy obsessed with protecting the planet’s plant life. Although this sounds noble, she intends to end all human life and force Batman to intervene.

The Peanguin

The Peanguin

The Penguin is Batman villain comedy at its finest. He has been a constant fixture in the Caped Crusader’s rogues gallery for many years. Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot III was first introduced in 1941’s Detective Comics #58. The character evolved over the years to become a well-known Gotham crimelord.

Penguin is the most vile face of the city’s criminal underworld. However, he has also displayed a practical and sometimes quasi-legitimate business side. He committed his treacherous acts not out of a desire to cause havoc but more out of a quest for financial and personal gain. The man with a thousand umbrellas is dangerously intelligent and sophisticated.

Bane

Ban

He is the pinnacle of mental and physical criminality. He is the result of a difficult childhood in a prison. As a child, he used a knife hidden in a bear to kill people. Bane is determined to get to Gotham after nearly being killed by an experimental super-soldier program, which hooks him up on Venom.

Bane is not only a titanic metahuman, but also a tactical and strategic genius. This is how Bane was able to famously defeat Batman and break His back. Because of his incessant persistence, Bane has become one of the most dangerous Batman villains.

Joker

Joker

It’s not surprising that the Joker is one of pop culture’s most feared antagonists. The Clown Prince of Crime charms film audiences every time, with many admiring the portrayals of him by Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix (though they don’t always get loved in that order). His fan base is much more diverse and unpredictable than the others on this list, because the character is so well-known.
According To Insights the Dark Knight is more popular than any other Batman movie. The 2019 Joker follows closely behind. They don’t like Nicholson’s portrayal of Nicholson in 1989’s Batman and prefer animated adaptations of graphic novels such as 2016’s The Killing Joke and 2010’s Under The Red Hood.
The Joker is a popular choice for audiences interested in military media portrayals or military-related topics. They have a greater affinity with the Joker than those who love action/adventure movies or superhero movies.

Two-Face

Two-Face

Two-Face has been seen on television and film many times over the past three decades. However, Batman fans still consider Christopher Nolan’s work to be the best. Fans of Two-Face are four times more likely to be fans Aaron Eckhart, who played Harvey Dent (Nolan’s The Dark Knight). Two-Face fans are not likely to feel positive about Tommy Lee Jones (the supervillain from 1997’s Batman Forever). Two-Face is like many other Batman villains: Today’s comic book readers prefer the darker, more gritty versions from Chris Nolan’s films to the more campy ones of the ’90s.

Two-Face is a character who used to be Gotham’s district attorney. It’s not surprising that he appeals to those interested in politics. He’s the only Batman villain to appeal to LGBTQ+ audiences in this Top 5.

The TV series that Superman: The Animated Series is the most popular with the character’s fans is not Batman: The Series. Two-Face fans are not loyal to their superhero fandom, living up to the name of the villain.

Scarecrow

Scarecrow

A product of an abusive childhood that left him permanently traumatized, Dr. Jonathan Crane managed to become a psychologist and professor of psychology. He is then fired a gun at class and dismissed. This led him to be the Master of Fear.

The Scarecrow is equipped with terror-inducing gas, which forces victims to confront their worst fears. He preys upon Gotham citizens with a creepy and controlling demeanour. Although fear is Batman’s most effective crime-fighting tool, it can only be defeated by Scarecrow’s terrifying abilities to unleash its terrible powers.

The Riddler

The Riddler

The Riddler appears to be in a different class of villains than other characters. Although he’s not particularly scary or brutal, he is a fun addition to the otherwise gritty and dark world of Batman. This enigmatic, evildoer can be a madman bent on destroying the greatest detective in the world.

At his worst, his intelligence allows him to keep pace with Gotham Guardian. The Riddler is terrifyingly deadly as shown by his manipulations in Batman Hush , and his disastrous reign of Batman. Zero Year.

Mr. Freeze

Mr. Freeze

Mr. Freeze is a Riddler-like villain. Because of the bitter taste Joel Schumacher’s movies left in viewers’ mouths, Freeze isn’t as appealing beyond the comic-book world. (Mr. Freeze’s movie fans are more likely to like Tim Burton’s Batman movies than Christopher Nolan’s or Schumacher’s). Gamers are the one audience that is drawn to this ice-cold baddie.

Mr. Freeze fans are drawn to the Arkham series of Batman video games. Like many of the other villains, Freeze’s fans are drawn to the Arkham video games. Mr. Freeze’s fans are drawn to classic arcade games such as Space Invaders or Duck Hunt, old platformers such as Donkey Kong Country, and newer shooters such BioShock, Left 4 Dead and the Uncharted series.

Ra’s Al Ghul

Ra's Al Ghul

Ra’s Al Ghul is a Batman villain who doesn’t limit his criminal activities to Gotham City. The Demon’s head, an international assassin and super-intelligent, adds some gravitas to the rogue gallery. Ra’s is a man who has committed the most horrific crimes against humanity and wants to start over the world.

He also respects Batman. In fact, he is always trying to convince Batman to become the League of Assassins leader and to marry his daughter, Talia Al Ghul. Ra’s Al Ghul is now a cliche puppet master character who has enjoyed a lot of popularity since Batman Begins.

Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn

The bubbly Harley Quinn rounds out the Gotham City Sirens. It is quite remarkable that Harley Quinn, a sidekick from a children’s animated TV series, has become one of Batman’s most beloved associates. Originally meant to be a one-off episode Joker’s Favor.

She was a huge success and was even brought back multiple times. She quickly became a bestseller in comics. The solo series was followed by a spin-off comic featuring the Sirens. Margot Robbie’s portrayal of the DC Extended Universe character has made her a movie star.
