Elric and his brother had a difficult start to their adventure. Their father left them without a word. Their mother died shortly after. The brothers tried to bring her back but failed. Edward was left without arms and legs, while Alphonse was left with a suit of armor. Despite Ed’s concern, neither brother was able to blame the other while they were fighting.

Their journey to find the Philosopher’s Stone has shown them that their relationship is stronger than ever. It has been stated several times that Ed is not looking for the Philosopher’s Stone for his own benefit but rather as a gift from his brother. Al is unable to perform Alchemy without Transmutation Circles. Ed has some experience with it. Despite this, Al is more skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

L and Light are two of the most famous couples in anime. In the famous anime Death Note, Light and L have a strange relationship. Although they are fighting for similar reasons, their goals are different. They are more than perfect for each other, and the makers did an amazing job keeping them together.
