Black Frieza new transformation. Black Frieza is the new transformation of Frieza. The tyrant unveiled this new form in chapter 87 of Dragon Ball Super, and Toyotaro has thus given Frieza its most powerful form to date.
But how did the number 1 enemy of Goku and Vegeta reach this new level of power? This is what we discovered in the last chapter of the Granola Survivor’s bow, which has just ended after Frieza’s arrival.
It must be said that although this is only his first appearance in this arc, the whole plot revolved more or less around him, with his very ambiguous relationship and his role as a trading partner with the Heeters. Moreover, Elec’s plan was to attract him to the planet Cereale so that Frieza could kill himself with Granola, Gas, and the Saiyans.

Black Frieza, darker, more powerful
Dragon Ball Super has therefore put an end to the bow Granola with the return of Frieza to the series, to introduce new mysteries. The emperor of the universe revealed that he had trained intensively during very long to reach a new power level. He proved it by killing instantly Gas, even as Goku, Vegeta, and Granola had trouble doing it.
To defeat Gas, Frieza has transformed in Black Frieza to achieve a much stronger power than Goku and Vegeta in their form Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego. Frieza explains that he has found a Room of the Spirit and Time somewhere, during its space conquests, and that there is trained for ten long years…
Frieza was in an “other world”
In chapter 87 of Dragon Ball Super, Frieza defeated Gas in one shot, and in for a moment. And when asked how he could have defeated Gas, when Gas was supposed to have become the strongest being of the Universe, Freezer replied that it was probably because he was in “another world” (= in the dimension of the Room of the Time), and that it therefore did not have to be taken in counts in the vow of the sacred dragon.
He had spent time training in the room of mind and time and had unlocked a new power after 10 years of training. If Golden Frieza was also strong that he was after only 4 months training with Tagoma, it raises all kinds of questions about the real strength of this new black variant, especially since Black Frieza is capable to defeat both Goku Ultra Instinct and Vegeta Ultra Ego in a single punch.
Where is Frieza’s Time Hall?
The two Saiyans probably cashed this blow by surprise. They don’t probably did not expect that Frieza also become powerful, but we can imagine that if the fight had lasted longer, Goku and Vegeta would have perhaps been more attentive to these blows. But it is clear that Black Frieza now has several lengths ahead of Goku and Vegeta.

Now, the main question is where could find this Room of Spirit and Time used by Frieza. The last time we had seen one in action, it was when Goku trained with Merus for better master Ultra Instinct. This room could be the same as the one where Frieza spent 10 days training, or it could very well be another door, created by another civilization.
He could simply it’s a new piece located somewhere for the purposes of territories of Frieza. The other question that remains, which is why Frieza decided to train for ten long years to reach Black Frieza. Frieza explains in the last chapter that he does not didn’t intend to stay behind forever behind the two Saiyans, and curiously, he also adds that he is currently at the pursuit of another target, and that it saves Goku and Vegeta for today.
