Blood and Water Season 4 Release Date: Everything You Need To Know

Blood and Water Season 4. Netflix’s South African TV hit series Blood & Water was a huge success and has a loyal following. The shock factor was increased in season two, which was released in 2021. The new third season has raised the stakes.
It is amazing that Blood & Water premiered in 2020 and has already had three seasons. It’s amazing that so many Netflix shows go two years between seasons. This South African drama for teens has managed to release one episode per year since 2020. Could 2023 be the last year that this popular show will have new episodes? This is possible because Netflix hasn’t yet ordered Blood and Water season 4.
Before Blood & Water Season 4

Although it’s been nearly five months since Blood & Water season 3 premiered on Netflix, I remain optimistic about the show’s future. It will likely get at least one more season. This is due to Netflix’s close relationship with its creators. They will soon release their new show Unseen online on March 29, 2023.
The teen drama, which is a rerun of the original, follows Puleng Khumalo, a Cape Town teenager, as she attempts to prove that Fikile Bhele, Pankhurst College’s star swimmer, is really Phumelele Khumalo. She is her long-lost sister, who was abducted 17 years ago.
Fiks’s life is in jeopardy as she is placed on the transplant waiting lists. Anthony is her only hope. Thandeka meets Fikile, her biological father. She tells him all the truth about her pregnancy and how she never told him she had given birth to a son. Anthony is bitter and tells Thandeka that it was unfair for her to come to him years later expecting him to give his liver. Thandeka warns Anthony not to punish her for past actions.
Then we learn how Puleng escaped from the ship in Blood & Water season 3 episode 6. In Blood & Water season 3, episode 6, Puleng escapes the ship. She then jumps from the ship in desperate circumstances and into the sea while being shot at. Detective Vaan uncovers his criminal corruption and alerts the authorities to save Puleng.
Blood & Water season 3 Review

Friends visit Puleng at the hospital as we approach the end of season 3. Puleng apologizes to KB for his actions, and he knows it. Puleng then privately grabs Wade and thanks him for all he did for her. Puleng is hurt when Wade says they are “friends”. Wade doesn’t believe that he and Puleng could be romantically compatible. Lunga is reconciled to Chris.
Puleng visits Fiks’ bedside. Fikile’s biological dad, Anthony, has confirmed her liver transplant. Puleng then feels the pain of her grief as she realizes that her father is gone. Puleng sobs and blames herself.
We are at the end of Blood & Water season 3. There are many plot points that are wrapped up. However, there are still a few story strands left for a possible season 4.
Blood & Water Ending Explained

Principal Daniels gives a farewell speech. It has been an “incredible honour” to be their principal, she says. Reece leads the applause which is followed by a chorus of cheers.
His colleague Peterson arrested Detective Vaans, despite him appearing to cover his tracks. He has a tape recording of her and Lisbeth. Sam has been found.
Wendy is back home and visits Chris. He wants to make it work between them, and she’s in a difficult situation because he has a relationship with Lunga.
Fikile visits Puleng’s home and Thandeka is thrilled. They celebrate the birthday of Julius, Puleng’s father. Puleng’s mother assures her daughter that her father’s death is not her fault.
Season 3 of Blood & Water ends with drug traffickers preparing to close down Lisbeth’s cell. They aren’t too worried, as they still have many cells. The computer screen shows a picture of Sam unconscious. What does this all mean for season 4?
Throughout season three, secrets, mysteries, and blood continued to surround the sisters, leaving fans with more burning questions. Will it return for another season?
Blood & Water Season 4 Release Date

Netflix has not yet announced whether or not the show will return for another season. However, there is no reason to panic yet. It’s still early days. Its return depends on how well it is received. It’s up to you, dear reader, to get comfortable and choose ‘next episode.’
If season four gets the thumbs up, then most likely we will see a winter 2023 release. This could even be moved into the beginning of 2024. All depends on when the key renewal announcement is made.
Keep an eye on this space, and we’ll keep you posted when we have more concrete information.
Blood & Water Season 4: Cast
Blood & Water wouldn’t function without its leading sister duo. It’s safe to assume Ama Qamata (and Khosi Ngema) will be returning as Puleng, and Fikile respectively in the fourth season. Who will be joining them? You can expect to see the following:
* Thabang Molaba as Karabo ‘KB’ Molapo
* Dillon Windvogel is Wade Daniels
* Greteli Fincham as Reece van Rensburg
* Arno Greeff is Chris Ackerman
* Mekaila Mathys as Tahira Kahn
* Natasha Thahane is Wendy Dlamini
* Katishka Kiara as Pauline
* Odwa Gwanya as Siya Khumalo
Given that Puleng’s father Julius (Getmore Sithole), died in an automobile accident, it’s less likely that we’ll see him again. However, there is always the possibility of flashbacks.
Blood & Water Season 4: The Plot

The season-three finale ties up almost all loose ends. Puleng literally fled and jumped ship, Fikile survived to see another day, thanks to a liver donation from her biological father. Sam was reunited with Janet and was found.
After Lisbeth was detained while trying to flee from the country, the human trafficking ring prepared to close down the cell she ran.
It’s not so easy. The episode’s last moments show that the operation’s leaders revealed that additional cells are scattered around the city. A picture of Sam unconscious on one of the computer screens is also shown.
Sam’s disappearance was not as simple as it seems. We expect Sam to play a crucial role in both being a target and taking down the trafficking ring for good in season four.
