Strike, a British crime drama series written by Ben Richards & Tom Edge, is based on J. K. Rowling’s Cormoran Strike detective novels. It was created by Tom Edge and Tom Richards. Susan Tully, Kieron Hawkes, and Charles Sturridge are the show’s directors.

Executive producers are Ben Richards and Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley–Letts (J. K. Rowling), Elizabeth Kilgarriff, Tom Edge, and Tommy Bulfin. The series premiered in the United States on Cinemax, and in Canada on HBO Canada on June 1, 2018. It was titled C. B. Strike. C.B. C.B.

Strike Season 5 Release Date

J.K. Rowling finally released her fifth book in the series, titled “Troubled Blood”, in September 2020. We can assume for now that the fifth season of the series is in production.

We will have to wait a while before we see the fifth season. It will be released sometime around the end of 2022.

Cast and Strike Plot

The fourth season ended on an interesting note. Cormoran and Robin become involved in far-left British politics while dealing with the disappearance of a girl many decades ago. The plot will also focus on their personal lives.

Each series of Strike has followed events from a Strike novel. It’s almost certain that the fifth series will follow the story of Troubled Blood. Troubled Blood’s synopsis teases that Cormoran Strike will be taking on his first ever cold case after being approached by a woman who has been missing for more than 40 years.

Kerr Logan will play Matthew Cunliffe, Ben Crompton will portray “Shanker”, Natasha O’Keeffe will portray Charlotte Campbell, and Killian Scott will play D.I. Eric Wardle. Ann Akin plays Vanessa Ekwensi. Sargon Yelda plays D.I. Richard Anstis, Caitlin Innes Eds as Ilsa Herbert.
