Alma convinces Dario to confess that he murdered his wife, Julieta. Although it wasn’t an easy plot, Dario revealed his darkest secrets with the help of Esteban and an injection of sodium pentothal.

We see Dario being handcuffed to a hospital mattress and Alma walking down the street, smoking a cigarette. The man who caused her so much pain and trouble is now gone. While there were some loose ends at the end of season 2, they weren’t significant.

Fans shouldn’t give up on the possibility of a third season of Dark Desire. Netflix may just keep the series if there is enough demand. For now, however, the thriller series Dark Desire is over.

We found out at the end of season one that Brenda had lost Esteban, the man she loved. She couldn’t live with his best friend, Alma. We will be able to examine the consequences of Brenda’s suicide in the next season. Alma will also miss her.

We are also left guessing as to what the third season will look like after the second.

It is highly unlikely, but there is still the possibility of a return. If there is a huge reaction that results in miraculous improvements, then we might get a third season. If the program is renewed before 2022, ‘Dark Desire 3’ might air in spring 2023.

Dark Desire Season 3 Plot

The second season is dramatic and reminiscent of the first. It begins with Julieta’s suicide as Dario’s future spouse. Lys Antoine is present to give us insight into the background of Dario, an oedipal hunk.

After a series of falsehoods, twists, and hookups, we solve the puzzle. Dario is Julieta’s killer, as revealed by the unexpected ending. Dario shows his true colors while he is against the wall. From the beginning, the unstable character seduces us until we find the nefarious psychopath hidden beneath the charming mask.

Lys is still in prison for Alberto’s death, but Dario is now chained to a hospital bed following an Esteban attack. Alma begins to heal and Dario’s depression begins to fade. A third season may be released if Dario is convicted. It will likely continue the story and record the consequences. Dario could escape capture and run away from Alma.

We don’t know the full extent of Esteban’s engagement. A third season might help us to understand that better. We may also learn more about Esteban and Lucinda’s relationship, as well as if Dario is Esteban’s son.

The third season will likely document Alma’s journey to recovery. It is possible that she might find love again. It will be fascinating to see Zoe’s story after she split from Karina. Also, what happens to the money when Dario’s bank account is closed? The third season opens with an apparent suicide and more heated sessions.
