So, we guess it has been a long time since Naruto fans, or as we may say Boruto fans, haven’t got anything very notable. Thus, let’s go back to discussing topics that have been very shocking to us in the past. All Naruto fans, who started watching the series with high hopes, know that they are devastated by the current state of Naruto and Sasuke. Can you imagine Kurama not being available for Naruto, or Sasuke losing the all-powerful Rinnegan? He was most able to access time-space Jutsu through the Rinnegan. One thing that none of us can argue is that Naruto and Sasuke haven’t been the same since the start of Boruto, and neither have the Kage positions been worth what they were. It is obvious that we all miss Gaara, as well as the powerful Raikage, Tsuchikage, Mizukage, and super-powerful Raikage. Now we guess that Naruto fans have still got fresh wounds. Imagine having your two most favorite characters losing two of their biggest powers in the same episode. Maybe Sasuke losing his Rinnegan was just to balance the loss of Kurama from Naruto’s side, but come on, none of us was ready for such a great shock.

Now for all those Boruto fans, who have started watching the Naruto franchise series from Boruto, you all probably don’t know how Sasuke got the Rinnegan, or you may also not know about who Hagoromo was and how chakra was brought into this world. We have all the information you need about the history and evolution of the shinobi universe.

Let’s start by explaining the basic setting for these anime. Naruto is actually an original manga series which was quickly adapted into anime. It was originally written by Masashi Kishimoto. He is one of the most prominent names in anime, and Naruto has been hailed as one of his greatest creations. After the completion of the Naruto and the Naruto Shippuden series, we slowly move on to the next generation of Naruto, the Boruto series, which is based on the life of Boruto who is Naruto’s son. Now many of you comment that Boruto has more of Naruto than it has Boruto, but you must remember the only glow up, as well as the mighty level of power, that has been shown till now is of Boruto’s and no one else.

For the basics, Naruto (and Sasuke) both descend from two of Japan’s most famous clans. However, both of their clans don’t exist anymore and they are the last few carriers of their name. Both must prove their worth to one another before any other person can do so, and then there is the quest for power. Although they were brothers, Naruto and Sasuke had their differences. Naruto pursued Sasuke to correct his mistake and he was successful. There are much bigger stories and some huge wars, but while moving to Boruto, we see that Naruto and Sasuke have truly proven their worth and this is the time for Boruto, Naruto’s son, to get involved and save the shinobi world from the upcoming calamity.

Is Sasuke able to permanently lose his Rinnegan?

Now for all those Naruto fans who don’t have any idea about Sasuke losing his Sharingan, don’t panic, we have got you covered, and let us tell you the present scenario that exists in Boruto. After the sacrifice of another Otsutsuki, they have returned to the Otsutsuki and are returning to the divine tree to obtain the fruit. Boruto is a known Karma user. He is also completely natural, which means that he has Otsutsuki blood. We also have Kawaki, who is a child on which Karma was installed to make him an Otsutsuki vessel. Naruto is determined for their rescue, but we should remember that Karma-users are Otsutsuki vessels that can be used anytime by any Otsutsuki.

So, chapter 53 of Boruto’s manga series shows a long fight between Isshiki and Naruto. With Sasuke, Kawaki, and Boruto supporting him, he is determined that Momoshiki be defeated so that he can save both the future of the village and both Kawaki and Boruto. For the first, he uses Baryon mode, which allows him to defeat Isshiki. However, he loses Kurama. Now at the same time, when we see Naruto losing Kurama, Sasuke’s greatest power, the Rinnegan, gets taken away by Boruto. No need to get shocked, it ain’t actually Boruto, but Momoshiki has actually taken over his body and he attacked Sasuke because his space-time jutsu was something that none of the Otsutsuki could handle and he needed to get rid of it anyway. We see the end for both our main powers and heroes.

It is possible that one or both of the powers has disappeared forever. Kurama, Rinnegan, and their powers going away together mean that there is always a chance they will come back together or that one of the characters might become very powerful. However, we see very little chance regarding that because Kyuubi, once they are transformed from their vessel to natural power, they don’t get reincarnated that easily, and Sasuke was entrusted with his Rinnegan by Hagoromo, so him getting the Rinnegan again means a new story and new characters to be introduced. If the Sage of Six Paths appears again, we don’t know yet. And also based on the fact that Boruto will concentrate on Boruto more than Naruto, and that wouldn’t have happened if they couldn’t reduce the power level of both Naruto and Sasuke, makes it completely fit for the story, so we can expect Boruto to have many great powers but not Naruto and Sasuke. The new generation will soon assume the responsibilities.

However, all the Naruto fans, don’t get too upset. You should always remember how good Sasuke is even without the Rinnegan. The Mangekyo Sharingan still remains, then we have his Susanoo and many other great Jutsu, and his skills are already enough to take on almost every strong character and protect the village. The same is for Naruto’s case also, our boy Naruto still has got Sage Mode, which is absolutely super powerful. We may see him use all the Rasengan, other than the shared chakra with the Kyuubi.

How Sasuke gets Rinnegan?

Now, this is for all those Boruto fans who haven’t watched Naruto at all. You have known Naruto and Sasuke to be two of the strongest characters to exist, but you surely don’t know how they became strong. And based on reviews, you should probably watch Naruto and Naruto Shippuden right now because there is a lot of glow-up you wouldn’t like to miss. Now as we have told you, Naruto and Sasuke were just like brothers, just that Sasuke went on the search for more power and ended up going on the wrong path. While all this was going on, Madara Uchiha, one of the oldest ancestors in the Uchiha line, was planning to bring an infinite Tsukuyomi on the world using the divine tree and by using the power of the Sage of Six Paths and all Kyuubi’s, and that led to the Fourth Great Ninja War.

During this war, it was discovered that the Otsutsuki were the ones who introduced the concept of chakra to the world. It was Kaguya Otsutsuki with his two sons who taught people about its uses. Hagoromo became, by his divine powers, the Sage of Six Paths. He then entrusted the task of changing the world to his sons Indra and Ashura. After all of this, Sasuke has become the reincarnation of his son Indra. Naruto is of Ashura. Hagoromo then entrusts Sasuke with the Rinnegan to rescue the world from the evils of Madara and the infinite Tsukuyomi. This world is one of dreams where despair is the only thing that exists.

Boruto Release Dates

After the completion of the Naruto manga serial series, Kishimoto took some time off. Following that, the Boruto series started to be serialized. The May 2016 issue was still being released. Every month, we receive a brand new chapter. This is a rare feature as almost all manga get a chapter every week. Manga chapters are more detailed than other mangas. The anime series Boruto was released on April 5^th, 2017. This is being released weekly starting in April 2017. The unique thing about this franchise, however, is that the manga is not currently being adapted into anime due to the long time gap.
