Engage Kiss Episode 1 Review & Recap
Bayron City is a Mega-float city located in the Pacific Ocean. It is rich in Orgonium, a new type of energy resource. (Diazepam) Bayron City is being closely watched by the rest of the world because of its mineral content.
Demons also seek Orgonium. When they attack the Orgonium, the events are known as D Hazards. D Hazards are a secret and only a few people are aware of them. Private Military Companies, or PMCs, handle them.
Episode 1 of “Engage Kiss” shows Shu, the title character. He runs a small PMC. He is very picky when it comes to taking on cases and is always short of cash.
He is able to survive thanks to the support of Ayano, his ex-girlfriend and an employee of a large PMC Shu used to work for.
Shu is also supported and encouraged by Kisara, a pretty high school girl.
Shu and Kisara signed a contract, and it was revealed that Kisara is a demon. She supports him and helps with his demon extermination missions.

What’s the Deal with Engage Kiss?

Engage Kiss centers on a love triangle involving a perpetually broke man, his ex-girlfriend/ex-colleague, and a female high schooler who happens to be a demon.
Shuu Ogata, a demon exterminator, quit his job as a Private Military Company employee and vowed to only take on the jobs that he needed.
He is now drowning in bills and has almost nothing to live on. He relies on Ayano, Kisara and his two wives, who love him too much not to leave him.

Shuu and the girls are constantly entertained by this unlikely tale of comedy, romance, and action.
Outside of Japan, Episode 1 premiered July 2nd. The episode was mainly about the basics of the story, such as how Shuu’s small business gets jobs and how Ayano and Kisara can help him.
The kiss animation was a popular highlight, according to fans. This is a joke that shows where the majority of the anime’s production budget went.

The most common observation among viewers was that there is a possibility of Fumiaki Maruto as the story’s director.
It remains to be seen if that possibility becomes a reality. To find out if this happens, fans will need to continue to watch Engage Kiss!
