One Punch Man Chapter 170: What Will Happen Next?

Garou got away in the last chapter of One Punch Man, leaving behind a path of questions for the fans. One of the most striking details that the fans loved in the last chapter was King’s demeanor. Amai Mask was acting as if he had all the power to kill Garou. But with a single stare from King, he was taken down instantly. And fans are also upset that all the credit for King’s valor was given to Blast.

Now, one of the most powerful arcs of the story has come to an end. The fans are questioning what storyline will begin next. Garou will certainly return at some point. But as of now, his storyline has come to a proper conclusion. Next up is the Psychic Sisters Arc for the manga. However, the readers are not sure if that is going to be the storyline that Murata plans for his readers.

The title of One Punch Man Chapter 169 was “Dawn.” The chapter started with Garou laying on the floor, thinking about the punch that was so strong. On the other hand, even Saitama couldn’t ponder what had happened. He only wondered what the core was in his arms. It was then revealed that the core had traveled all the way into the past and dimensions together with Saitama. Thus, Genos was able to see everything that led to this moment.

As soon as he understood the full scene, he went on to explain the same to Saitama. He continued telling about time, space, and dimension. But the one thing that stayed with the fans was the fact that Saitama was holding back a lot of power during the battle. Because there was no way he could have let Garou go for such a long time. But Garou realized that Saitama was not listening and that he did not remember anything at all.

The next part of the chapter saw Tareo laying on the floor when he heard a voice. When he looked up, he saw a ghost of Garou disappear in front of him. When he followed the voices around him, he saw that all the civilians were beating up the hero hunter. Metal Bat came and asked them to stop the beating right away. Only Lightspeed Flash appeared to remember that Saitama fought Garou, after which he abruptly got naked only to defeat him with a single punch. He also remembered seeing Blast around.

This was when Zombieman asked Garou how he was able to get so much power as a human. He asked if it was the doing of God. But Garou rejected the idea and said it was all him. Just as they were about to kill him, Tareo appeared! The boy asked King to provide assistance and save Garou. Bang asked him to remain and save as many people he had hurt. The chapter came to an end with Metal Knight coming to analyze the radiation around. Meanwhile, Saitama and Genos took their leave to look at the lost pieces of their home.

Artist Murata is yet to confirm the final release date of the next chapter. Since the conclusion of a grand arc just concluded this season, it is possible that the artist might take some time to forge the next arc.
