How Strong Is Shigeo Kageyama?

How Strong Is Shigeo Kageyama. Over the past few years, English-speaking viewers have become more familiar with the popular Japanese manga “Mob Psycho 100”, which was created by the same artist who created “One-Punch Man.” The production and dubbing for the two-season anime, along with a live-action Japanese drama on Netflix, have contributed to this growth.

The story’s hero, Shigeo Kageyama, who is unassuming at the heart of many different interpretations of “Mob Psycho 100”, is at the center of these diverse interpretations. The show calls the timid middle school student an esper. This is a person who can display ESP abilities. The twist in “Mob Psycho 100” is that Shigeo’s most remarkable abilities only rise to the surface when there is extreme emotion, positive or negative. Dramatic abilities can be activated when Shigeo reaches 100% in any kind of emotion, including anger, ecstasy, and sadness. The anime’s third episode, which is the first time he reaches 100%, will be remembered as one of the most amazing anime moments of the past decade.

It can be difficult to keep up with Shigeo’s psychic abilities due to the constant addition of new abilities and variations to old ones. However, they all seem to revolve around a handful of specific actions. This is a complete list of Shigeo Kageyama’s abilities in “Mob Psycho 100”.

Telekinesis is the source of many of Shigeo’s powers

Telekinesis is the source of many of Shigeo’s powers

Viewers see Shigeo display a variety of extraordinary abilities throughout “Mob Psycho 100.” But, at the heart of many of these abilities is telekinesis, which is his most basic power.

Telekinesis refers to the ability to move objects with your mind and without using any physical force. However, in fantasy and science fiction stories, there are other elements such as magic in Harry Potter or the Force in Star Wars. Telekinesis can be seen in “Mob Psycho 100” as one of Shigeo’s basic abilities. He can encase an object with his blue psychic aura and move it at will.

Shigeo’s telekinetic abilities are even more impressive when Shigeo reaches 100 percent in an emotional state. Shigeo can create an impenetrable barrier between himself and others by reaching 100% kindness. This protects him from any physical dangers. Extreme emotions can lead to Shigeo also being able to move large objects. For example, he was able to reassemble the Black Vinegar middle school after reaching 100% sadness following the destruction of the building in the battle against Teru.

Shigeo is even more powerful thanks to psychic energy manipulation

Telekinesis is one of Shigeo’s most used abilities. However, his ability to manipulate psychic energy from his environment and his enemies has been one of his most powerful.

Although Shigeo can only manipulate psychic fields when he is at 100% emotional, it means that it happens often when he most needs it. Shigeo can absorb energy from other espers. This allows him to protect himself against mental attacks and redirect the energy back at his attacker. Shigeo should be cautious as this power can also absorb the emotions of his opponent, which could lead to him reaching 100%, something he may not be able to control.

Shigeo can also transmit psychic abilities to or from other espers and people without ESP abilities. These powers can be shared to help others with ESP or protect them from being hurt in particular fights.

Shigeo can project his spirit to detect other people

Shigeo’s second valuable skill as an esper is his ability to use his psychic abilities to detect other ESP-sensitive people and project his spirit onto them. This ability allows him to see all other espers and any type of spirit within a twenty-mile radius. This allows Shigeo to detect dangers and prepare for any upcoming conflict.

The mild-mannered middle schooler, however, can use his spiritual powers to push his spirit from his body. After Shigeo does this, he can appear as a cosmic, floating creature in the Dreamworld, which can directly combat malevolent spirits. Although he can’t physically control other beings, he can enter their minds and bodies. Shigeo’s spirit is projected into the Dreamworld by Shigeo. His body is lifeless and highly susceptible to attack.

Although Shigeo’s powers can change with his emotions, they provide him with the extra support he needs in difficult situations. Fans of the show, his enemies, and Shigeo themselves will always find something new thanks to the ever-evolving nature of these abilities.

All Mob’s Explosions in Mob Psycho 100 So Far

Episode 5 of Mob Psycho 100 II recently provided fans with Shigeo Kageyama, aka Mob’s most bombastic and spectacular psychic explosion yet. Between an emotionally fulfilling development for our main hero and otherworldly animation to back it up, it’s hard to see how any other moment in the show, or even in this anime season, could top it. As the dust settles from within the mindscape and Mob returns to his normal antics as a psychic middle schooler, now might be a good time for a quick recap on Mob’s previous explosions to better understand his growing strength and perhaps even prepare ourselves for his next event.

Mob is an esper with telekinetic abilities, and can interact with spirits and exorcise them. He is able to control his emotions and keep his emotions under control. He has difficulty expressing himself on a daily basis because of this.

As his stress levels rise to 100 percent, his emotions explode in an explosion of psychic energy. His explosions can manifest in different ways depending on what emotion is prevailing at the time. These explosions are Mob’s way of expressing himself. We’ll be looking back at Mob’s explosions and how they affected the world.

Explosion #1 – Rage

Mob was challenged by a cult leader who was possessed of a powerful malevolent spirit. His ability to feel emotions was also questioned. Mob was mocked by the spirit, suggesting that Mob’s apparent inability to feel emotions prevents him from connecting with others. Mob’s insecurities were exposed, and he was overcome by rage. This led to the first explosion that we see.

Mob was able to defeat any spirit with the help of this explosion. Mob was able to dispatch the spirit’s brainwashed subordinates. He literally increased his psychic energy so that he could dismember his ghoulish enemy and withstand his attacks, all while barely moving. Mob was his first screen display of full power and proved to be an indomitable esper with untold potential.

We also met Dimple, our favorite spirit, during the fight.

Explosion #2 – Sadness

Mob refused to respond with his psychokinesis when he was confronted by Teruki Hanazawa, a fellow esper. Reigen Arataka, his self-proclaimed master, taught him not to use his powers against others. Mob was also made to swear not to rely on his abilities for anything in his life after an incident in his childhood that involved a psychic outburst. He wanted to discover his inner potential as a normal human and not as an esper.

Teru, however, made regular use of his psychic abilities to improve his social standing, and thrived off the self-proclaimed superiority it provided him. His lifestyle was in direct contradiction to Mob’s and forced him to face the fact that his psychic abilities might not be sufficient. Teru’s anger led him to choke Mob, despite Mob trying to beat him with his psychic abilities and make him change from who he was. Mob, in his unconscious state, reached “??????%” for the first time. He reached “??????%” in his unconscious state, using his tremendous strength to defeat Teru’s school and also destroy it.

Mob was shocked to discover how his powers were running wild again. He also realized that he had not yet overcome his own limitations or transformed as a person. He felt sadness and pushed himself to 100%. But his powers were unleashed in an entirely different way. He used his power to repair the school’s massive damage and bring it back to normal.

Mob’s second explosion demonstrated how many-faceted his abilities are. His psychic abilities are tied to his emotions. This is where we discover that Mob’s explosives don’t always take the form of fighting power or literal explosions. They can instead be translated into different forms of expression and capable of changing his environment.

Explosion #3 – Animosity

Mob’s brother Ritsu began to use his psychic abilities shortly after he was captured by Cadre Koyama, an evil esper. Koyama, who was on a mission of collecting strong espers and mistook Ritsu as Mob, tried to capture him. Mob’s stress levels rose dramatically after he saw his brother being tortured. Koyama used his psychic abilities to nearly overwhelm Mob. But he kept taking jabs at his brother and Mob managed to get to 100% in record time.

Mob unleashed its animosity in many ways. His psychic barriers became stronger and his physical strength increased to the point that he was able to restrain Koyama, who was twice his height and built, with little effort. He was also able to smash Koyama into the ground like a meteor. Koyama had to use a special spray against Mob to get rid of him and make off with Ritsu. He realized that he would never be able to defeat Mob in a battle between espers.

Although his animosity may be similar to his rage, this episode was Mob’s first time exploding due to an external force and not his inner demons. Mob’s stress level had been steadily increasing over the episodes prior to the last burst. Mob’s brother being hurt ended up being a powerful catalyst. In just minutes, he went from being in single digits to being 100. This is in line with a traumatic incident in his past where his brother was bullied led to him launching into an outburst which hurt everyone around him.

Mob is as emotionally illiterate and as dedicated as ever to his family.

Explosion #4- Gratitude

Claw, a criminal group of espers bent upon world dominance, was the climactic battle that Mob, Ritsu, and Teru had to fight back against formidable psychics. They were unable to win quickly due to Mob’s impending explosion. This was almost fueled by murderous intent. Reigen intervened just in time to stop an explosion fueled by this kind of emotion.

Mob’s con-artist master used to advise him against using his powers on others, but this time he forbade him from doing so maliciously and stopped him from doing anything he might regret. He said that it was okay for him to run, and Mob believed that. Mob, however shady he may have been, was grateful that Reigen was willing and able to take on all of his responsibility. Mob reached 100% and his explosion was not in him, but in Reigen.

Mob’s explosion resulted in all his energy being given to Reigen to be used. What probably translated to a proportionate transfer of energy to someone without psychic powers, Mob’s 100% power became a 1000% rise in Reigen’s spiritual awareness. Unknowingly, Reigen used this energy to bring down every evil psychic in the room. Some of them even fell prey to their illusions of grandeur, and he convinced them to change. Although Mob’s power was eventually restored to its source, Reigen still retained some residual effects that only allowed him to see Dimple clearly.

Mob’s explosives are always unique, regardless of whether he is at 100%. This psychic event continues that trend. It proved that Mob can do miracles, such as temporarily turning an individual into an esper. He also gave Reigen all the psychic energy he had and made him an unstoppable force. Mob already has a vast amount of spiritual power and can give that power to others for a limited time. This could make for some interesting applications, if he is ever in a pinch.

Explosion #5 – Courage

Mob’s cathartic and inspiring surge of confidence was the catalyst for his biggest explosion to date. Season 2 saw Mob confront his most difficult challenge yet: Keiji Mogami, an evil spirit who has possessed a young girl and is an ex-psychic. Mob had to enter the mind of the girl to exorcise it from within. However, Mogami kept him captive in an alternate reality to complete a twisting experiment.

Mob lost his psychic abilities and became a normal human. He suffered six months of bullying, loneliness, and emotional pain that he would otherwise be able to resolve as an esper. Mogami made him suffer this so that Mob could become the same tortured soul he was and unleash his power on a cruel, thoughtless world. Mob was shocked to learn that the world is cruel. However, Dimple helped him to get back to his senses.

Mob was able to be resolute about his beliefs and the people’s potential to change. He felt confident enough to face Mogami with renewed confidence. This mindscape allowed Mob and Mogami to unleash their psychic powers, creating an intense, beautifully animated fight that covered the entire fake city. Mob almost lost his will to live with the negative emotions that Mogami had stored in him. But, the will to help someone was enough to keep him going.

This explosion transformed the fearless Mob from a blank-faced mobster into an action hero. Mob was able to take down thousands of evil spirits and weaken Mogami because of this overflowing of positive emotions. Mob did more than he thought possible to stop the evil.

Mob almost went into his ?? He almost consciously entered his ??% state and seemed to exorcize every evil spirit in a matter of seconds. A glimpse at the immense power Mob has was also provided, which we saw as an infinite universe of potential. Mob exorcised the spirit of the girl, and it was a success.

Mob is feeling the effects of the explosion’s aftermath. He learned that even the most evil people can make changes, and he hopes to be able to do the same. Mob learned this from his fight with Mogami. He began to think for himself and know what he wanted. Mob felt at ease with his friends and wanted to spend more time with them. He even called out Reigen for stealing the social life he worked so hard to create. We don’t know how far Mob can take this transformation.

Mob learns a lot more with each explosion. He was initially afraid of the chaos he would cause if his emotions controlled his actions. He began to learn and grow from his friends and realized that emotions are a great thing. Mob began to see the truth of his abilities and was less afraid.

Mob the esper keeps being pushed towards 100%. But after all these explosions, Mob finally gets its own percentage.

Conclusion

For me, Shigeo Kageyama is one of the most powerful characters of all anime, who can compete with characters such as Saitama from One-Punch Man or even Goku from Dragon Ball. What makes this character so powerful is when he lets his feelings explode, making him totally overpowered. At this stage, we cannot determine his power. After our analysis, he deserves his ranking among the most powerful characters in anime.
