Kekkai Sensen (Blood Blockade Battlefront)

Kekkai Sensen is a series of action-packed, science fiction-based, urban fantasy Japanese manga and anime. The manga artist responsible for the creation and illustration of the manga is Yasuhiro Nightow. The manga was first serialized in Jump Comics on January 5, 2009.

The anime was originally aired on Animax Asia’s English Network on April 4, 2015. Kazuno Furuya wrote the script and directed the anime.

Main Plot

The anime’s main plot follows the events at Hellsalem. There are many creatures living at Hellsalem. These include supersonic monkeys and vampires as well as monsters with supernatural abilities. These creatures used to inhabit New York. A gate, which looked like a portal, was later opened to allow the creatures to enter New York.

The creatures were placed into a bubble and allowed to co-exist with each other. In addition to the problems that these creatures create, there are supernatural humans to help them. They are also known as Libra. The plot also features Leonardo, a great photographer.

Additionally, Leonardo was an ordinary person until he got the “All-seeing Eyes of the Gods.” It was exchanged for the loss of his sister’s eyes. Further, the state granted Libra its powers. Then they added Leonardo to the organization. Then, he lives a life he’s not aware of.

Leonardo Watch

Leonardo Watch is a character in the Japanese anime series Kekkai Sensen. He has a strong passion for photography. His younger sister’s name is Michella Watch. He came to Hellsalem only to help Michella. Further, there he was able to get one of the powerful eyes known as “All-Seeing Eyes of the Gods” in place of his sister’s eye. Riga El Menuhyut gave these eyes to him. He was an ordinary person before these eyes. He is inspired by their kindness and wants to be part of many adventures. Later, he becomes involved in Libra.

King of Despair

King of Despair is the antagonist in the Japanese anime series Kekkai Sensen. Plus, he was part of a group called the thirteen kings. Black and he were able to share bodies when the Great Collapse occurred. He is also mysterious because of his unknown appearance. He looks like a firefly wrapped in a cloak. He wears clothes that humans would wear, as he lives with the other creatures. He is the antagonist in the series but he was a good friend to all. He was a person who focused on the emotions of others.

Chain Sumeragi

Chain Sumeragi is also part of the Libra organization. She is also a member of the werewolf creature. She is also part of the Werewolf Bureau. Black suits were her preferred choice of attire. She doesn’t want to cause any problems but she continues to harm others. Zapp Renfro was the one she used to harm the most. Her great power allows her to get through walls. Also, the power is called ‘Invisible Werewolf’. Her ability makes her an important member of Libra.

Michella Watch

Michella Watch, the younger sister of Leonardo Watch, is the protagonist. Her legs also have problems, rendering her unable to walk. She lost her eyes while she was traveling to Hellsalem. For which Leonardo received another eye named “All-Seeing Eyes of the Gods”. She is also a young girl who needs a wheelchair to help her walk. She also loves her brother from her childhood. She is brave and gave her eyes to Leonardo, her brother.

K.K.

K.K. is a member of the Libra organization. She is also a mother to two wonderful sons. She used to treat her sons and comrades as treasures, protecting them like treasures. Klaus, Libra’s leader, is a good friend and she bonds well with him. She uses powerful guns while fighting. These guns are used to turn her blood into electricity. As she takes care of her sons, Klaus is also important to her. She tends to wear a long coat and black boots most of the time.

Zeodra belongs to the 13 kings. Zeodra is the king of hypertension. They can also hear the vibration, sound, and light of Hellsalem. Velved deals with him because he wants to take revenge against werewolves.

Aligura

Aligura is one of the thirteen Kings. Plus, she is also a Queen of Monomania. She also looks very similar to humans. However, she was once able to hide her face with a metallic mask. Aligura made Aligura kill everything that was in her way, as she was the queen of Monomania. As of now, she is involved in finding a vessel and her boyfriend’s body.

The thirteen Kings are a very dangerous group in the series Kekkai Sensen. The group includes both males as well as females. All the members come from Hellsalem. Furthermore, the antagonist of this series is also one of the thirteen kings. Their group makes Libra one of the most hectic foray groups.

Zeodra, who is the king of hypertension, also makes up the group. This is a very powerful creature, as it can sense sound, light and vibration at Hellsalem. The group also includes the king of despair, who is able to control black magic. He can use black magic to kill others without touching their bodies or hands. The group of 13 powerful kings is a powerful group. Aligura, Femt and others are also members of this group.

Is Kekkai Sensen getting season 3?

The anime fandom was very excited about the last season of Kekkai Sensen. The manga was also sold in large numbers. Fans are still waiting for the next season since 2017. However, no response has been received about the third season of the anime. We can look forward to the success of the anime, and if all goes well, we can expect season 3 of Kekkai Sensen to fall in 2022/2023. If it is on screen, the new season could also be more popular than the previous seasons.
