2023 promises to be an exciting year for anime. Jujutsu Kaisen’s second season will air alongside Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer. After a brilliant debut season, it’s fair for Yuji and his team to be included in this bracket.

WHAT IS THE PLOTLINE FOR JUJUTSU KAISEN?

There is an old war going on that no one notices. This war is between “Curse,” supernatural monsters that terrorize the human race, and “Jujutsu,” who are sorcerers who attempt to eliminate these monsters with mysterious methods. Yuji Itadori, a high school student, discovers the dried finger of Curse Sukuna Royoumen. This puts Yuji into the middle of the war.

Yuji Itadori is an ordinary high school student, but he is an extraordinary child with incredible physical strength. He eats the finger “Sukuna Ryomen” one day and then takes the Curse into himself to save his friend who was being attacked by the Curse. He shares a body now with Sukuna. Itadori is accepted into Tokyo Metropolitan Wizarding Technical High School under the guidance of the most powerful wizard Gojo Satoru. This organization combats Curses. Thus begins the heroic story about a boy who becomes a Curse to extinguish a Curse. He can never return to that life.

WILL JUJUTSU KAISEN HAVE A SECOND SEASON?

The first season finale of the anime featured the announcement of an anime film. It aired March 27, 2021. ‘Jujutsu Kaisen 0 – The Movie’ premieres in Japan on December 24, 2021. Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the anime that appeals to large audiences. They sometimes announce their season changes in the season finale. Jujutsu Kaisen was not one of these anime and fans were left in suspense. The announcement made via Twitter on February 12, 2022 saw the anime’s renewal for a new season. MANGA (MAIN SOURCE MATERIAL).

Jujutsu Kaisen, as we have already mentioned, is a manga adaptation. Gege Akutami illustrated and wrote the original manga. Originally published by Shueisha, and then published by Viz Media in English by readers around the world, the manga series reached 19 volume. The latest volume, “Tokyo No.1 colony: Angry Man” was published on April 4, 2022.

The first 8 volumes were nearly completely adapted into 24 episodes in the anime’s first season. The 64th chapter concludes the first season, which was largely faithful to the manga. The chapters are not yet available in tankobon format. We will likely be able to see more seasons after the confirmed second.

Story of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, which chapters can it adapt?

The conclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen’s first season was the Death Painting Arc. This ran from chapters 55-64. The anime will continue to adapt the manga in order of release. Next up is the Gojo’s Past Arc which covers chapters 65-79.

It revolves around Gojo’s past and a mission that Gojo and Geto were involved in escorting a Star Plasma Vessel from Tengen.

If this is the case, the second series might include flashbacks to Gojo’s history as well as setting up an important next arc: The Shibuya Incident (chapters 80-136). Yuji and Nobara defeat the Cursed Wombs Eso, Kechizu and join Megumi. Sukuna, who uses a mouth to bite Yuji’s finger, because of anime, moves him one step closer towards regaining his power.

The new season will deal with the encroaching evil as well as the story of Choso, the third Cursed Womb triplet. Choso is allied with series villains Mahito and Geto.
