Orient Season 2 Episode 12 is a Japanese manga series that Shinobu Ohtaka has written and illustrated. It was published in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine from May 2018 to January 2021. In February 2021, it moved to Bessatsu Shonen Magazine.
Kodansha U.S.A. licensed the manga for English publication in North America. A.C.G.T. debuted an anime TV series adaptation in January 2022.

About Orient Season
The people of Hinomoto were freed 150 years ago from the rule of the samurai and now live peacefully and venerate their liberators, demons whose true form remains elusive. Musashi, destined to mine rocks for demons to feast upon, knows the terrible truth. Humanity is being held captive by these otherworldly beings. The last hope for freedom is the samurai. Musashi hides his opinions from his peers, and becomes distant from Kojirou Kanemaki his childhood friend. He lives in angst up to the day of graduation.
The inhumane treatment of the miners and the bizarre appearance of their supervisors shocks the new graduates who arrive at the mine. Kojirou’s support helps Musashi to persevere. Musashi is saved from certain death once again by the Takeda samurai family as the demon leader causes havoc in the quarry. Musashi, now feeling redeemed from his humiliation and longing for adventure, embarks upon a journey to become a samurai and create his own clan.

Episode 11: The Great Sword of the Black Goddess
It appeared that the mission was a success after the “Awaji Islands Recapture Operation” had succeeded in destroying Yato Orochi’s real angle. The Onitetsu, which would normally be swallowed by the Onitetsu sword in normal circumstances, was instead mysteriously sucked to another place after the Onijin had been defeated.
The detachment of Kojiro and Tsugumi, which is charged with retrieving Ryuomi, has not yet returned and Michiru was not seen anywhere in the region. Michiru is in danger and Musashi and his friends must go to the peak to rescue her. They were greeted by a dark blade floating in the air.
