Tooth is assisted by the other guardians.

The Sandman, a mythical character who puts sand in children’s eyes to help them fall asleep quickly and have sweet dreams, is known as the Sandman. This task is also performed by the Sandman (or Sandy) in Rise of the Guardians. This one communicates using symbols and signs because he cannot speak. He is the Guardian of Dreams and the Man in Moon’s first chosen guardian. He is swallowed by Pitch’s darkness, but he returns at the end.

Jack Frost longs to find meaning and purpose in his life. Although Jack Frost is able to bring joy to children through snow days, he doesn’t see or feel loved by them. Jack prays to Jack for guidance and meaning one night.

Pitch Black, the Boogie Man, has begun to appear to children. He destroys their good dreams and replaces them with bad ones. The Guardians convene a meeting to address concerns. Pitch’s dark horses suddenly attack the Tooth Fairy. They steal every child’s tooth and all the memories. She is devastated that she has lost all her memories and cannot reach every child at night.

The Tooth Fairy is rescued by the guardians who decide to assist her in collecting the teeth. Although they are able, children already doubt the Tooth Fairy.

Jack Frost longs for his past. The Tooth Fairy tells Jack that she had stored his memories along with the lost teeth, but that Pitch has now stolen them. Jack agrees to join the Guardians in order to retrieve his memories from Pitch, and to help children keep hope, wonder and light. The Guardians will not let any child believe in them. RISE OF THE GUARDIANS, a family movie that is very entertaining and well-made, is a great choice. The animation is amazing. It is a clear story with lots of laughs, tears and thrilling moments. The villain’s dark side may make young children a little scared.

RISE OF THE GUARDIANS’ main characters are holiday icons like Santa Claus, Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. However, in this instance, the main characters are broken and serve “The Man on the Moon.” The Man on the Moon is an unseen entity, but the other characters look up at the moon to ask for guidance to bring hope to the rest of the world.

It’s almost like a prayer. The Man on the Moon selects Guardians from the ordinary population and gives them purpose and meaning in their lives. Although the Guardians don’t have invincibility, they do help fight for the light. These characters are encouraged to believe in themselves.
