Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 3 Review

Although I wasn’t sure what I could expect from Star Trek: The Next Generation, I have enjoyed the series since its inception. This series is funny, which is a departure from other series. Most episodes had me laughing, with a few exceptions, even outlandishly. It takes place in Star Trek’s world and employs recurring plot devices that it cleverly subverts to deliver funny moments.

Mariner, one of the main characters, is particularly entertaining. While the main cast consists of lower deck ensigns, we also get to see senior staff playing the roles of side characters. They are quite entertaining. It’s certainly not more politically correct than other Star Trek shows. All of them have had a diverse cast of characters so I don’t know why people are so upset about it. Star Trek fans looking for a good time should see this.

Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 3: What would it be possible to be about?

“Star Trek: Lower Decks” takes place in 2380. It focuses on the support crew on the USS Cerritos. This ship is one of Starfleet’s lesser-known ships. The ship is often disrupted by scientific anomalies, which causes Ensigns Mariner and Rutherford to have to balance their personal and professional lives.
The crew serving on the bridge include Captain Carol Freeman and Commander Jack Ransom. Lieutenant Shaxs and Doctor T’Ana are also present. This animated spin-off is the second in the Star Trek: The Animated Series series. The first was “Star Trek: The Animated Series”, which ran from 1973 through 1974. This one is more mature and has more humor.
Star Trek: Lower Decks follows Starfleet’s underdogs as they bravely travel the universe and help new life and civilizations. They also keep their appearances up while trying to not make a fool of themselves. In terms of boldly taking the show to places no one else has, it also takes them where no one else has. Star Trek meets Star Trek with an irreverent tone that is not unlike the original franchise.
Star Trek: Lower Decks has achieved a number of impressive rankings. 7.3/10 on IMDb. 84% on Rotten Tomatoes. Four out of five on “gadget360”. These ratings are comparable to those of the original Star Trek series, despite being a spin-off.
