Stardew Valley Expanded: Key New Areas

[ad_1]

Stardew Valley Expanded is a powerful mod. It updates the base game and introduces new characters and areas. It’s a great mod for Stardew Valley, with many new places for players to explore. There are hidden forests, hidden homes, community gardens, and farms to explore. It’s an exciting mod that players who love the idea of the Stardew Valley base game can enjoy.

Castle Village, for example, is an area named by villagers but cannot be visited directly by players. While this may change in the future, it is possible to see some exciting new areas that players can visit right now in Stardew Valley Expanded.

10 Blue Moon Vineyard

Sophia owns Blue Moon Vineyard, which is located between the forest and the beach. Here players can forage for items, and there are new items every day. Each season has a different assortment of items for players to choose from:

  • Spring:
Wild horseradish, leek, common mushroom, dandelion, daffodil

  • Summer:
Herb berry, grape, common mushroom, red mushroom, sweet pea

  • Fall:
Morel, wild plum, blackberry, hazelnut and chanterelles. Common mushroom, red mushroom, purple mushrooms

  • Winter:
    Holly, crocus, and crystal fruit

Sophia is located in the building just behind the fields. Clicking on the catalog in any room will allow players to purchase Blue Moon Wine, Aged Blue Moon Wine and (handy!) Quality Sprinklers.

9 Jenkins’ Residence

Olivia and Victor Jenkins’ home is notable for its size. It’s a huge house, complete with a library, basement, and several other rooms. Players can find it east of Pierre’s General Store.

Unlockable dialogue (discovered when Penny’s ‘adult event’ is re-enabled) reveals that someone else lived in the house before Olivia and Victor, but they had to move due to a police investigation. Fascinating…

8 Aurora Vineyard

Aurora Vineyard, a neglected vineyard, can be found in Forest West (the northwest part). The inside and exterior are heavily overgrown, but there are signs that someone may have been there recently.

It’s a good place to go if players want to learn more about the characters by piecing together events using items found around the house. A doll from the past can be found here. It’s fascinating (and a bit creepy).

7 Enchanted Grove

Enchanted Grove won’t be accessible until some late-game quests have started. It can be found north of the farm near the Backwoods trail. It takes several steps to unlock this enchanted forest.

  • Meet Alesia at the Adventurer’s Guild

  • Locate the Galaxy Sword in a desert

  • Complete Clint’s quest to remove the boulder near the top

  • Ginger Island: Reach the top caldera

  • Three missions to Magnus

The 1st and 14th days of each season are when dewdrop berries spawn.

6 Fairhaven Farm

Fairhaven Farm, home to Andy the Joja-supporting single wolf, can be found in Cindersap Wood (about halfway). It’s a struggling farm, with some wilting crops, but there are some goods to be found here, including:

  • Spring:
    Potatoes, strawberries, green beans

  • Summer:
    Corn, tomatoes, hops

  • Fall:
    Corn, eggplant, grapes

Andy’s house can be improved if the player refurbishes the community center or fully supports JojaMart’s city improvements.

5 Junimo Woods

Junimo Woods lies in the southwestern corner of Cindersap Forest. They can be accessed after the Community Center renovation is completed. Players can find some rare items here if they manage to make it to the middle.

There’s a lot of cool lore here, including Dwarvish and Elvish weapons. JojaMart players will not have access to Junimo Woods if they join.

The Old Community Garden is an abandoned, small garden located in the southeast corner of Pelican Town. A cutscene will show Lewis asking for help in cleaning up the plot during Year 2. It benefits Lewis as it improves the city’s image. The player can also benefit from it as they have the ability to use the plot to grow their crops. If the player chooses to decline Lewis’ request, they can still clean up the yard later if they wish.

Sprinklers can be used in the backyard to provide additional space for players to grow crops.

3 The Crimson Badlands

There is so much to be said about Galodraan. It’s a whole new area, with its own storyline and exciting stories to discover. The Crimson Badlands is the main attraction of the Galdoran continent. Enchanted Grove quests can unlock the Crimson Badlands. You will need to fill in the following:

  • Marlon’s Galaxy Sword Event

  • Meeting Alesia at the Adventurer’s Guild

  • The boulder at its top was removed

  • At Ginger Island Volcano you can reach the Caldera

The Crimson Badlands has many useful items, including bone artifacts as well as some drops from enemies. Players should be prepared to face the enemies in the Badlands.

2 Emerald Farm

Emerald Farm is located next to the railway. It will be closed to players until Jojamart has cleared the landslide debris. This is in Summer Year 1. Susan, a passionate farmer who is totally against Jojamart, lives in Emerald Farm. There are many crops grown here, including:

  • Spring:
    Potato, cauliflower, green beans, parsnip

  • Summer:
    Corn, melon, hops, radish

  • Fall:
    Corn, pumpkin, grapes, yam

1 Other areas

You have a few options. Stardew Valley Expanded. These can be added by the player, but they are not part of the main game. These include:

  • Grampleton Farm –
This farm is a great blank slate for players. However, due to its large size, the mod’s creator suggests that players test whether their computer can handle it before they get stuck.

  • Grandpa’s Farm
    – this greatly expands the player’s farm, giving them more space to work with. To get started, this farm must be installed separately.

Stardew Valley Available on PC, macOS (PS4, Xbox One), Switch, and mobile.
