So the last episode really focused, at least for the on the fact that the Fangs become the main suspect. In the previous episode, we had the shadow and all the shady stuff he could have done. This episode focused on the Fangs and they really became the prime suspect after Cindy informed Beth that the Fangs were being blackmailed by the player.

The player, although it is revealed that the player stopped doing it a few months before he returned to Blue Valley, but he came back, mad as hell, and I think the Crocs in general think he’s going to do it again, which is why we saw Crusher threaten him at the trailer park before he thought twice and…

But before this is revealed not only to Pat, Barbara and Courtney, but also to us, the audience, Sylvester goes after them by ransacking a grocery store and almost killing them. Of course, this puts Pat and Sylvester at odds and makes Sylvester rethink things and kind of want to make up for it, but we also see that it’s probably Mr. Bones watching the surveillance video.

It looks like it’s him with the leather gloves and the cape that he has or the coat and stuff like that, even though it’s not 100% confirmed, it looks like he’s the one watching the surveillance video. which makes him the one in charge of the player, because the game is going to be attacked, just like he destroyed the video that was found by the service in front of his house, so yeah, it’s a question mark, but at the end of the episode we see Sylvester go to the player’s trailer.

to look for more evidence, and that’s when he’s attacked by something big, that makes a weird noise, and he’s knocked out, dropped from a pretty high height, and he hits his head, so yeah, it’s a bit of a bad episode, or a bad way to end the episode for our good old buddy Sylvester Pemberton, but yeah…

Overall, this episode really moved several storylines forward and I wasn’t expecting the big reveal at the end, which was misled throughout the episode. I’m very, very, very curious to see what happens next, especially in the next two or three episodes.

Episodes or something like that, and what that means for this character. Actually, we’re past the point of spoilers, what it means for Cindy. I was talking like someone who hadn’t watched the episode and didn’t want spoilers was still watching it, but yeah, I mean, what was going on there, but let’s just talk about the episode. the episode, let’s break it down.

We start the episode with Cameron in his house watching snow globes. It felt like a Christmas movie or something, even the music made me think of a Christmas movie, but I guess that was the point. I think you think of Christmas, especially snow globes, when he takes a snow globe that looks like Courtney and his powers escape or burst, and he freezes it and drops it and it breaks.

His parents are like… oh, they’re not his parents, his grandparents… kind of come in and comfort him and tell him that he’ll be able to control his powers soon enough, and that’s always going to be the biggest problem, and I think it’s illustrated towards the end of the episode by the bad influence of his grandparents, who are pushing him towards what his father would have been, I guess. But he also has the good influence of Courtney which continues in this episode and it’s going to be a struggle for Cameron because we still don’t know where he’s going to go, if he’s going to be a JSA ally or if he’s going to be a villain.

We still don’t know at this point, even at the end of the episode, I still don’t know which way it’s going to go. The cosmic stick wakes Courtney up or forces her out of bed and drags her to Sylvester’s unconscious body at the crime scene in the player’s trailer. The visit to the hospital reveals that Sylvester also has a mysterious puncture wound like the player’s, but of course the player was pierced through the heart, which killed him, so Sylvester has a bit of luck, but that means he was attacked by the same thing the player was.

and of course, in the episode, the puncture wound makes you doubt things, like if it was really this person. Now, Beth’s mother, Dr. Chapel, sees the downside of being a hero and the danger of that, because we’ve seen her and her husband who works with Barbara enjoy the fun side of their daughter being a hero and want to be a part of it. but I think for it to really hit home, something would have to happen to Beth, and that doesn’t mean you want Beth to get hurt.

but if Beth is in danger and they know she’s in danger, that she almost died, it doesn’t mean she’s hurt or anything. but if they see right away that Beth is in a dangerous position, they might think twice.

as if it wasn’t so funny, Pat and Courtney wonder why Sylvester went out without the baton, Pat bringing up a good point that Corny obviously forgot. that it wasn’t his turn with the team, Courtney and Sylvester had agreed in the previous episode, I think it was the previous episode, but suspicions arise as to why Sylvester was there, because he went out on his own and didn’t tell anyone, and if you’re on a team…

there should at least be someone who knows, it shouldn’t be up to the staff to say “wait”, sometimes the best isn’t there, and Semester could have died if Courtney hadn’t arrived, despite what is revealed later. One little thing that was said was that Yolanda is still under her mother’s strict thumb, which was said but not shown on screen, as it was revealed that her family is struggling financially, her father lost his job and that’s why Yolanda was allowed to go back to work at the restaurant, as the family needed the money. that they were selling the house and the realtor was coming so I guess that could be for something, maybe in the second half of the season.

What’s going on with Yolanda personally and stuff like that, but I like having that, I like learning what’s going on in these characters’ lives. when you look at something like season 1 which was so heavy on Yolanda’s personal life and even the early parts of season 2 that it feels weird when they don’t address it but it’s nice when they do.

Now Sylvester wakes up in a lot of pain but he has no idea who attacked him besides the fact that whoever attacked him attacked him and killed the player was pretty strong now if Sylvester is hiding something that’s another question I don’t see why he would need to hide anything so I’m going to believe him like Cindy on the other hand uh where you know she was there at the same time I might have seen something it makes you but I don’t think Sylvester has a reason to hide anything, so I don’t think it’s weird, but Courtney and Sylvester agree that if this stuff is available and the other one needs it, they can take it, which is a reasonable agreement, especially under certain circumstances.

In the synopsis of the episode, it says that Pat calls on an old friend to help him, so Pat calls on Dr. Magneta or the former Dr. Midnight to assist him with what’s going on, but at the same time, we also see that they’re being watched by the surveillance cameras and this person who’s probably Mr. Bones in this little surveillance room, so it’ll be interesting to see when they strike.

Dr. Mcknighter sees that Sylvester is healing at a fairly accelerated rate and believes that the cosmic wand that Sylvester has been using for years has integrated him with cosmic energy, which would explain how he came back to life.

It doesn’t mean that he generates it like we see with Jenny Lynn Hayden or the Green Lantern girl, it’s more like he stores it, he absorbs the energy from the cosmic stuff and that’s what allows him to be the way he is and accelerate the healing and all that.

I was able to see if it evolves over the season and maybe what happens with him, he can use his powers or use powers without the cosmic staff, we’ll have to wait and find out, but maybe that’s where they’re going with it, I’m not too sure, but we have Sylvester thinking about his choices. you know, to his life choices, given how Dr. McNighter is doing, that he’s sort of passed on from Dr. Midnight to Beth and how well she’s doing as well, although Pat reassures him that his legacy is still intact and that he has a future, later in the episode, he sort of continues on that path.

In another speech. Now the JSA is going through the trailer crime scene, or the trailer crime scene, which has been cleaned up, as if there is nothing left, there is no evidence. However, as they’re about to leave, Beth’s glasses detect a tiny piece of DNA. a skin cell, I think that’s what it was, and it doesn’t belong to someone we know is at the trailer, but to someone else, who needs to, you know, do some science stuff with Dr. Ignacio to look at the DNA that’s found, and it appears to belong to the Dragon King.

I wasn’t expecting that. and I think I saw someone in the comments of a previous video or maybe it was on Twitter in my mentions or something, saying that they thought it was the Dragon King.

Do you know if that was just a silly guess, like I was just going to throw a random name out there, or if they legitimately thought it had something to do with the Dragon King? with the Dragon King, and by the end of the episode, we’re led to believe that no, it’s not the Dragon King, that’s not what’s going on, but it’s strongly related to him.

Beth relays this information about the trailer skin cell belonging to the Dragon King or the fact that they believe it belongs to the Dragon King to the other members of the JSA. and predictably, Yolanda and Rick believe that this reinforces their doubts about Cindy continuing what her father was doing, but Corny brings up what she saw in the shadowy halls last season and what Cindy experienced as a child.

Cindy in the old HQ where she settled in pain with her eyes rolling or flashing like a reptile’s, like the Dragon King’s, and the solution that she uses, I guess, this chemistry, this web solution, this potion, I don’t even know what it’s called…

it seems like it’s slowly turning her into a queen or a dragon princess, I don’t know what to call it, because obviously she’s using her father’s research, her father’s work, and he was able to make sure that she could continue even after he died. She’s got bones rattling and stuff like that, it’s kind of gross. Courtney approaches Cameron at school and she tries to comfort him by touching him, which leads to an explosion of her powers, as seen in the trailers.

but she quickly jumps in to help him and Cameron gives him the information his grandparents gave him about himself, what is happening to him, his family history and his father, but they don’t tell him who killed his father. cameron thinks he died a hero so it might be a little awkward when he finds out the truth and if he will treat that information as the truth rather than what his father actually did or if he will be in denial saying no, I knew my father, he couldn’t have done that, he’s a hero who tried to do that.

to do that, that’s a very interesting thing that I’m very intrigued about going forward, when or if Cameron learns other information and also who gives him that information, if his grandparents tell him first, then maybe he treats it a certain way, but if Corny tells him and maybe Courtney says she that she played a role in his death, the reactions will be different and I’m very interested to see how they play out. Sylvester’s scenes in the episode I thought were pretty good, I thought the crusher was pretty funny, but Pat talked to Sylvester about being a mentor to him, being a mentor to the next generation.

I of course liked the fact that he had the new suit, which pushed him in that direction. But with the new suit, you’d think he’d want to be more Star Man, so I wonder if he’s trying to be too controlling, because that’s kind of what we’ve seen in previous episodes.

in the previous episodes and I haven’t watched the trailer for the next episode but I guess he’s probably wearing the suit because it was in one of the other trailers before the first season and also he and it looked like he and Rick and Yolanda were about to go into the sewers of Blue Valley…

the sewers of Blue Valley, you know, looking for the Dragon King, so if Courtney isn’t there, Sylvester might lose it a little bit, but we’ll have to wait and see. Speaking of Courtney, she’s able to deliver the message that Sylvester gave her a few episodes ago.

a few episodes ago and she’s able to get Cameron to not have the meltdown that he had earlier but to be able to control his powers properly, which works and that scene was like… you have to be honest, it was beautiful the way it was shot, all the snow falling, again, Christmas movie vibes like the opening scene with Cameron gave…

Stargirl Season 3 Episode 4 Ending Explained

with all the snow globes and stuff like that, they share their first kiss which was interrupted in an earlier episode and the question that’s going to follow, as I said earlier, is the good influence of Courtney and the bad influence of her grandparents. of her grandparents and also what Cameron perceives as the truth, which is always going to be a very difficult thing.

I think we’ve always said that there are three sides to the truth in a story, there’s one person’s side, the other person’s side and the truth. Neither side tells the truth because they want to. obviously they want things to go their way, sorry, so you could get cheesy by saying you’re tearing Cameron’s father apart, what he was doing, and his grandparents praising him, when it’s somewhere in the middle, like we know what Icele’s real story was and what he was trying to do, he was trying to do a pretty good thing but in an incredibly bad way, and at the end of the day he was still a bad guy because of the way he was trying to do it and I don’t think Cameron will get that truth, which could make him a character all over the place in terms of his moral decisions.

which I’m interested to see how this is going to play out, because as I said before, Rick and Yolanda passed the information about the Dragon King’s DNA found at the scene to Sylvester, but cutting to Cindy, we see that she has scales growing, so it looks like it was Cindy’s cells, like skin cells, that were found at the scene, not the Dragon King. the dragon king, so Cindy had something to do with it or it’s just a red herring for the JSA to reveal Cindy’s existence later on, because Cindy was there when they were looking, you know, in this room and when they went through the trails earlier.

There’s nothing here, Cindy was here. She could have easily dropped that skin cell at that point, so it doesn’t mean that she was there when Sylvester was attacked or at any point suspiciously, so I think it’s going to mislead the JSAs who think it’s going to be the Dragon King in the next episode.

Stargirl Season 3 Episode 4 Ending Explained

And then reveal that Cindy is slowly turning into what the Dragon King was. I don’t think Cindy is strong enough to do that to Sylvester at the end of the last episode, although the puncture wound thing and the fact that she has the knife sticking out of her head or her wrist…

it’s obviously going to make her a little suspicious because she has puncture wounds and you can do that, so I’m intrigued to see where they go with the Cindy thing because I don’t think it’s her, I think it’s a big mistake, but she’s got her own issues with this dragon queen thing.

I know what’s going to happen to her if they stop her from using all this stuff, maybe to control it, but at the same time, she’s going to have to figure out how to stop it, how to evolve like that, but I guess we’ll wait and see.

Stargirl Season 3 Episode 4 Review

This episode was another really solid episode of Star Girl, I really liked the interactions between the characters and also the setting up of a false trail and also the mystery of what is going on overall. I wonder when Mr. Bones is going to intervene because we’re going to see him constantly watching the surveillance videos. the surveillance video but I guess he’s waiting and also we don’t know if he was the one involved in the player’s murder, we still don’t know if he did it or not, he could have just happened to watch and the player went to destroy the surveillance camera at the time he was killed.

It’s just a coincidence, he might not have had anything to do with it, but he could be 100% behind it, we don’t know why yet, we’re waiting to find out, and I’m curious to see where this is going to go. But yeah, I think we have a break next week or the week after, I’m not sure, I think next week we may not have there may not be a stargirl episode next week, I’m not too sure, I’ll say in a future post, if the episode is cancelled or if it’s confirmed or not, I’m not too sure what I think, but I know we have a week off this week, next week or the week after.
