Season 4 volume 2 is yet to be released. We will have to wait to see what happens in season 5. One important detail was revealed by the Duffer Brothers about the next season. The next season will most likely include a time jump from the fourth season.

Matt Duffer said that each season is an opportunity to learn. “We have learned so much from our new actors and the ones we’ve known for quite some time over this year [making season 4], so I’m sure it’ll change a lot from what I had in mind.”

He stated, “I’m sure we will do a time jump.” It would have been great to film [seasons 4 and 5] back-to-back. But it was impossible. These are the conversations we’ll have with our writers when we set up the room. Contrary to popular belief, we are still working on season 4. We are working on the final two episodes. They are so massive.”

They teased that there would be “more exciting stories” in the Stranger Things universe. The brothers also teased what the fifth series might hold.

In their S5 announcement, the creators stated that they have “many more exciting stories in the world of Stranger Things; new mysteries, new adventures, and new unexpected heroes.” We hope that you will continue to follow us as we finish the story of Eleven, a strong young girl and her brave friends. It’s about a police chief that is both broken and a fiercely protective mother. It is set in Hawkins, which is a small community and alternate dimension known as the Upside Down.

The creators teased details regarding the final episode of season five, telling SX they knew the ending.

Matt Duffer stated, “It’s possible that it changes. But I think it’s unlikely. Because it’s one of those endings that just feels right and has always felt right. It feels almost inevitable. It feels almost inevitable once you have an idea.”

When was Stranger Things Season 5 officially confirmed?

In a February open letter, the Stranger Things creators confirmed that season five would indeed be happening. This information was made available on Netflix. The creators also stated that series five would mark the end of Stranger Things.

They wrote this before season 4’s premiere: “Seven years ago, we planned the entire story arc for Stranger Things. The story was expected to run for between four and five seasons. Although we were unable to tell this story in just four seasons, you’ll soon see that we are heading towards our final season. Season 4 will be the penultimate, and season 5 will be the last.”

All good things must come to an end, right?

Who could be the star of Stranger Things Season 5?

All of our favorite Stranger Things cast members will be returning for season five, provided that they are still alive at the end of season four.

If all are still alive, it will include Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer [Nancy], Sadie Sink, Max, Caleb McLaughlin (“Lucas”) Gaten Matarazzo (“Dustin”), Joe Keery, Steve, Winona Ryder (“Joyce”).

Fans hope that some of the new characters from season 4, such as Eduardo Franco and Jamie Campbell Bower as Vecna, will be back.

When will Stranger Things Season 5 release?

Season 5 will likely be delayed, as we still have season 4. We will be able to provide more information when production begins.

Filming finished for Stranger Things season 4 in September 2021. Eight months later, the series was released in May 2022. Season five production is expected to begin in late 2023. We are currently looking for a release date.
