The second season of The Legend of Vox Machina starts immediately after the end of the first. Vox Machina must save the world from the evil and devastation caused by Exandria’s most powerful power couple.

Their journey will take them on an adventure of discovery that will not only uncover the long-hidden Vestiges of Divergence to fight the Conclave but also expose their deepest fears and insecurities.

A Quick Recap of Season 2 Episode 6

Episode 6 of The Legend of Vox Machina season 2 was titled ‘Into Rimecleft’. It featured Grog, who had nightmares about his friends being killed to get his Craven Edge weapon. While he attempts to ‘negotiate’ with the blade, his thoughts lead him astray. The weapon craves fresh blood, and he is shown this when he flees from a worried Pike.

The Vox Machina team is sent one by one to the Void Dimension by the sphinx; Grog even gives Craven Edge some blood, as Scanlan is the only one left facing the creature.

He sings a song about Osysa for Kamaljori, in typical Scanlan fashion. The song triggers an emotional response from Osysa who claims that his heart has been “wounded” and will give him the reward he promised.

The rest of their team returns to the temple and finds Scanlan, Kamaljori singing together. Before they can finish the song, the sphinx gives them the sword Mythcarver which he promises will help them find other vestiges.

Umbrasyl enters the cave to attack the group and steal their vestiges, cutting short the celebrations. Kamaljori, Umbrasyl and their battles continue. The sphinx eventually gives up and sacrifices himself to save Scanlan.

Keyleth attempts to cast a spell to teleport Grog and the giant dragon to the Fey realm. Grog fights alone against the huge dragon. Pike attempts to convince Grog to flee with them, but Grog is accidentally stabbed by her sword.

Grog grabs Pike and takes her to Keyleth. The teleportation worked only for a second, but the dragon took over the cave.

Season 2 will feature the same characters voiced by the original creators. The Legend of Vox Machina’s voice cast features Ashley Johnson as Pike Trickfoot and Laura Bailey as Vex’ahlia Vessar. Liam O’Brien is Vax’ildan Vessar. Travis Willingham plays Grog Strongjaw. Marisha Ray portrays Keyleth. Taliesen Jaffe portrays Percival de Rolo. Sam Riegel portrays Scanlan Shorthalt.

Matthew Mercer, who voices multiple characters, Henry Winkler and Will Friedle are guest stars.

Stephanie Beatriz, Gina Torres and Kelly Hu will reprise their roles in season 1.

The Legend of Vox Machina Season 2 Episodes 7, 8 and 9 Release Date

Amazon Prime will release Episodes 7, 8 and 9 of The Legend of Vox Machina Season 2 on Friday, February 3rd at 12:00 AM (GMT). The episodes titled “The Fey Realm”, “Echo Tree,” and “A Test of Pride” will each run approximately 22 minutes.
