15-Aultcray Melromarc Was Unworthy of Wielding the Vassal Staff

The Vassal Staff was once a weapon that Aultcray could use. Although the weapon could be used for many purposes, it was primarily designed to improve the user’s magical abilities. After being controlled by Malty, Aultcray was unable to use the Vassal Staff. He was one of the most vulnerable characters, despite his position of power. After being punished for his actions, he did eventually recover some glory in the light-novel adaptation. However, this was not the case for Aultcray’s anime counterpart.

14-Malty S. Melromarc Relied on Magic and No Swordplay Despite Having A Sword

Malty is a hated character, but she’s incredibly powerful. Malty was a specialist in fire-type magic. She could use spells like Zweite Fire or Drifa Hellfire. She was also able to use wind-type magic, including Wing Blow.

Viewers noticed that Malty hardly used her sword. Malty used her sword more as a last resort than as her primary weapon. Malty was a competent fighter but is outshadowed by Melty, her younger sister.

13-Biscas Biscas T. Balmus wielded a replica of the legendary weapons, but was quickly defeated

Biscas is the High Priest of the Church of Three Heroes. However, he is quite powerful in his own way. When he faced everyone else in battle, he used a replica the Legendary Weapons and defeated them all until Naofumi was defeated. Although his battle was brief, Biscas was still a formidable foe despite being outnumbered. Many viewers pointed out that Biscas did not use the replica weapon in shield form, and that he could have saved his life when Naofumi struck.

12-Mirellia Q. Melromarc May Use Ice-Type Magic To Overpower Biscas

Mirellia Melromarc, the Queen, is a specialist in ice-type magic. Her spells are capable of slowing down, capturing, stuning, and creating massive flying blades that attack enemies. Biscas, High Priest of The Church of Three Heroes, was defeated by her.

She is also a fan of fire-type and water magic, but her main use is ice-type magic. Her strength is evident when you consider that she was a strategist for the allies army.

11-Melty Melromarc Can Negate the Fire With Her Water-Type Magic

Melty, Malty’s younger sister was more action-oriented than the light novels. This allowed her to showcase her talents, including water-type magic. Her water-type magic can negate fire-type magical, and she can also use some spells to heal allies, making them more useful in combat. These skills were especially useful in the last two episodes, when Naofumi and her party faced Glass.

10-Raphtalia lacked magic, but was a great swordsman

Raphtalia excels at acrobatics and combat. She prefers to use swords during a fight.

Ren is a skilled fighter but he can be a bit careless when he fights monsters. He left the dragon corpse to rot. Even though he clashed with Pope Francis, he was unable to stand against his power. His potential is still high.

8-Itsuki Kwasumi is AnoTher’s Cardinal Hero and A Great Bowman

Itsuki, another of the cardinal heroes was given a magical bow & arrow to help him fight monsters far away. He is a good support for the Spear and the Sword Heroes and was able to fight well against L’Arc and other monsters.

Isuki, like the other heroes’ potential, isn’t yet fully realized. He has plenty of time to complete more levels and unlock serious arrows. He is also quite nice.

7-Filo can fly fast in her bird form and attack others with her talons

Filo is able to fly and move quickly in combat. She can also deliver heavy kicks using her talons. Naofumi purchased steel casings that would fit over Filo’s talons, much like a set or swords.

6-Motoyasu kitamura Gets Tons of Training as the Spear Hero

Motoyasu is an honest person. But it’s hard to see the good in him because he is also too self-centered and vain. Motoyasu still has charisma and is a leader of the Bow and Sword Heroes. He also leads the battle against Naofumi’s Waves.

Motoyasu is able to back up his boastful statements. His spear is very powerful and can be used to fight. It’s evident that he has been working hard and training as much as he can in order to unlock the weapon’s full potential. He and Myne are a formidable team against Naofumi’s group, the Waves, and hostile heroes of other worlds.

5-L’Arc Berg Has A Incredibly Scary Sythe

L’Arc, a hero from another planet, is hostile to Melromarc and his heroes. He initially made a friend with Naofumi, and fought alongside Naofumi to defeat monsters. But that friendship didn’t last. L’Arc now stands ready to defend his world and is a fierce fighter with his scythe. L’arc is able to defend them all, even when Naofumi’s entire party fights together. He’s tough, but he’s okay.

4-Therese Alexanderite May Use Gems To Channel Her Combat Force

L’Arc’s companion and a hero of another world, Therese doesn’t carry all the gems she has because they are pretty. Therese is a jewel and uses the gems for her amazing combat power. She is also a mage, and supports L’Arc with serious skill in combat.

Therese used her jewel abilities to stop a platoon archers from attacking a ship. She also dealt heavy damage to Melromarc ships around the area. Naofumi gave her a useful item during their time together, which partly explains her ability.

3-Naofumi. Iwatani used a variety of shield types to his advantage

Naofumi, the Shield Hero and one-and-only Shield Hero, was exiled after he was convicted of a crime. But that didn’t stop him. Naofumi discovered the true power of his shield and used a wide range of shield types on his adventures.

He also recruited Raphtalia and Filo to his party as their defenders during combat. He can block any type of attack and has a tactical mind that can open the way to victory.

Fitoria, the queen of all Filolials can effortlessly unleash powerful magic from her hands when she is in human form. Filo was defeated and Naofumi was pushed back by Fitoria.

1-Glass Can Break Prison-Shields Effortlessly

Glass is an hero from another planet, much like L’Arc. She is ready and willing to fight the four cardinal heroes in order to save her world. Glass used traditional Japanese fans during her first wave to devastate the opposition.

Naofumi’s party was unable to survive the Wave because Glass had finished his time and Naofumi was no longer available. She appeared in a later Wave, and defeated many of her opponents, including cardinal heroes. Naofumi’s prison shields were also destroyed by Glass with little effort.

Light novel, manga and anime all feature Naofunmi, his party members Rapthalia, Filo and their support on his expeditions and missions. The Rising of the Shield Hero also features the irresponsible, impulsive legend heroes Itsuki Kawasumi and Motoyasu Katamura. The Queen, her daughters and the biased King are just a few of the other interesting characters.

Naofumi Iwatani

The protagonist of the series is Naofumi Iwatani. He was summoned along with three other characters to Melromarc to serve as the Shield Hero member among the Four Cardinal Heroes. This is one of the reasons that she falls in love. She is Naofumi’s aide and helps to soften some of his harsh decisions due to his cold personality.

Raphtalia is also a swordman and serves as the Shield Hero’s offense during battles. Gradually, she improves her swordsmanship skills and, together with Filo embark on expeditions under Naofumi.

Filo

Filo is a member of the filolial race. Naofumi buys Filo as an egg from a slave Trader at the beginning of the series. She hatches at an incredible rate and grows to a size that is almost ostrich-like. Filo becomes a little girl on the fourth day of her hatching, proving she was a special filolial. Later, it is revealed that she is a filolial queen candidate.

She is the Shield Hero party vehicle and transport. However, she also has incredible speed and attack power which she uses to support Naofumi during battles and other dicey situations.

Ren Amaki

Ren Amaki, the Sword Hero, is selected from the Four Cardinal Heroes. Amaki, despite being the youngest of the hero groups, shows maturity and intelligence. This is evident in the first episode where Amaki analyzes the strategic options available to him after being summoned into a fantasy world.

Ren, despite being assigned as a hero is reckless and doesn’t take into account the consequences of his actions. In Season 1, Ren kills a dragon and doesn’t properly dispose of its remains. People living in nearby cities became infected by bizarre diseases.

Motoyasu Kitamura

Motoyasu kitamura, the Spear Hero is a member the Four Cardinal Hero party. The Spear Hero is a friendly character, with his charming personality and pleasant features. Motoyasu, a summoned hero is extremely naive and easily deceived. This is evident when Myne quickly poisons Motoyasu’s thoughts towards the Shield Hero. Motoyasu believes her, but only after it is revealed publicly that she has been lying to him.

Motoyasu, despite being naive, is shown as a strong hero. This is especially evident during the waves saga, the first season. He fights various creatures with his wide range of offense capabilities.

Itsuki Kawasumi

Itsuki Kawasumi, another member of The Four Cardinal Heroes, is also a member. Itsuki, the Bow Hero is portrayed as intelligent. Itsuki is a gentle man, but he has a proud personality. He believes he is better than the other heroes, despite his humble appearance. He sets out to boost his self-esteem by setting out on a mission, to kill unscrupulous nobles, and then bask in the praises of Melromarc citizens.

He was cruel, even though he appeared to be a justice-inclined person. Naofumi was left to her fate, without Myne being properly questioned about whether Naofumi had assaulted her.

Mirellia Q. Melromarc

Mirellia Q. Melromarc, Queen of Melromarc, is the ruler of its citizens. Mirellia, a beautiful middle-aged woman who cares deeply about the country she governs, is beautiful. The Queen is also shown to be a fair ruler. She respects the Shield Hero, and punishes Myne and Aultcray who unjustly treated the hero.

Mirelila, despite the strict mask that she wears to be the Queen, cares deeply about her family, even her troubled daughter. They are so dear to her that she will give her life for her Myne and her husband’s execution.

Aultcray Melromarc

Aultcray Melromarc was the ex-king of Melromarc. He was also known as Aultcray MelromarcXXXII. The Queen takes this title away from him after she learns of his injust actions towards the Shield Hero.

Aultcray deprives Naofumi his money and fails to provide the assistance he needs as a hero. When she dethrones him, she changes his name to “Trash” and punishes him harshly.

Melty Q. Melromarc

Melty Q. Melromarc, the Crown Princess of Melromarc, is the second daughter Mirellia and Aultcray Melromarc. Melty, despite being the youngest child, was selected as crown princess because of Myne’s reckless actions. Filo was her first introduction. She is often seen around Filo because she was a filolial lover. They became best friends.

Melty, like her mother, is fair and just, and lacks the evil nature of her father and her sister. She is a royal blooded, but she has earned the trust of heros, which Naofumi detested.

Myne

Malty S. Melromarc is also known as “Myne” and is the main antagonist in the first season. She approaches Naofumi as the Shield Hero with bad intentions and sets him up for sexual assault. She manages to convince the heroes that her lies about Naofumi are true.

Later, she attempts to plot an assassination against her sister in order to take the crown princess’ role. But her plan fails. At Naofumi’s request, she changes her name to “Bitch” because of her actions.

Erhard

Erhard, also known as “Old Guy”, is a retired adventurer and now runs the Weapon Shop Naofumi frequents. After Naofumi is exiled by the Melromarc kingdom, Erhard becomes the first to admit his innocence and allows the hero to trade, despite not having enough funds.

Erhard is a middle-aged man who cares deeply about the people he has in his life. The store has a wide selection of tools and armor that will suit any soldier or adventurer.

Glass

Glass is a spirit people race and is revealed to be one of the antagonists of The Rising of the Shield Hero’sfirst seasons. L’ Arc, Therese Alexandrite and Glass fight against Melromarc, the Four Cardinal Heroes. The anime eventually introduces Glass to the viewers as the Fan Hero from another universe and a vassal wielder.

Fans witnessed the strength of Naofumi’s opponent Glass during her fight. It is clear that Glass could have defeated the Four Cardinal heroes had it not been for the waves countdown.

16. Malty S. Melromarc

Malty S. Melromarc has been ranked 16th (or worse) among the most hated characters. Malty appears to be an innocent and kind young lady. But, I will tell you that she is the worst. She is the only person who has made our MC’slife hell.

She ruined Naofumi’slife when he was reborn into the world by accusing him of rapingher . (The Rising of The Shield Hero Anime Episode 1),. This scene made me really angry.

Our MC is already being bullied in his real world and he doesn’t have peace . (The Rising of The Shield Hero manga Chapter 2:

Malty did not just accuse him, but also stole everything he owned (I want to kick Maltyright away).

15. Motoyasu Kitamura

Motoyasu Katamura will be the next character to emerge. He is one of four heroes who were brought into the realm. Motoyasu is one of the most hated heroes because of his peculiar personality. He falls in love with each girl he meets and continues to impress them.

Due to his behavior, he was a complete simp for Malty and loved doing everything she asked. Motoyasu is a fool. However, in terms of power, next Naofumi is his strongest.

He is also known by the Spear Hero who uses the legendary Spearin combat. Also, he is unstoppable once again.

14. Aultcray Melromarc, XXXII

We’re about to introduce you to a character you’ll hate more than Malty. Learn what he did throughout the anime series.

He hated demi-humans, and declared war on them. This earned him the title of The Trash Kings.

He hated Naofumi because he was the protector of demihumans. This is why Malty accuses Naofumi. Maltybecame an poorchild and accused our Heroof doing something inexcusable.

He’s a cleverman with many secret identities. To everyone’s surprise, his real identity is Luge Lances Forbrey, and watching him suffer was the most joyful moment of my entire life.

13. Biscas T. Balmus

Do you hate people who have two personalities. They hide behind a mask that they are goodwhile doing all their bad deeds behind closed doors. If you answered yes, then we can be friends. I just want to punch him in the face and smash his teeth when I see someone like this.

Biscas is the exact same character. He hides his true identity, which is being evil behind the image of a kindhearted man and while being one the most manipulatingpeople.

He was the highest priestof the Three Heroes. He had the power and strength of all three heroes because he was the holder of a legendary sword.

He was strong,but his MC and Naofumi,defeated them both and taught them a valuable lesson.

12. Itsuki Kawasumi

Itsuki Kawasumi was also summoned as a hero, but he was by far the most unusual. Itsuki (also known as the Bow Hero) is a self-centered man who cares only about himself.

He makes fake scenarios in his head, believing he is stronger than the truth.

Itsukiis one of the less powerful heroes summoned by Melromarc. Although he is presented as a kind and generous man at the beginning of the anime I can assure you that he is one of the most selfish individuals I have ever seen.

Itsuki is powerful and can defeat many strong foes if he’s in a Rage.

11. Ren Amaki

Number 11 is Ren Amanaki , one the four heroes who were summoned to this world. He is a calm and rarely bothersome personality.

Ren was a calm person who never said anything negative about Naofumi. Yet, he is still one the most hated characters.

It is possible to wonder why he is so hateful, even though he doesn’t say much. His toxic of doing things his way is what makes him hateful. He is impatient for collaboration and has been seen pushing people out of his group because they are too weak.

He wields the Holy Sword,which is mysteriously capable of cuttinganything. He believes he can do anything, but in reality, he causes more problems for others.

10. Melty Q. Melromarc

We move up to Melty and. is the most kind and sweetest character in the anime, despite being Malty’ssister, and having been born into The Melromarc Family. Meltyrespects the authority she is given and strives to bring justice. She is slightly stronger than her sister Malty and uses water magic.

She became close friends with Filo. After what her sister did, we see her trying to get Naofumi back to trust her. Melty is an outstanding character we can look up too.

9. Fitoria

Fitoriais considered one of the most important characters in The Rising of The Shield Hero. You’ll agree after you get to know her passionate personality. Fitoria is a filolial queen and one of his famous heros .

She has only one goal in mind: to save the world . She will do whatever it takes to accomplish her goal, even if killssomeone. She claims that if a hero fails to completehis task correctly, she will kill him .

Apart from fighting, she loves to try new and delicious meals. If you’re curious about her power, I’d say that she’s one of The Rising of The Shield Hero’s strongest characters.

8. Mirellia Q. Melromarc

We will be talking about Queen Melromarc. Mirellia is one of the most beautiful ladies in anime. She is the mother to Melty and Malty, and she is just like her husband.

She was the one who spoke for Naofumi and tried her best to do him justice. When she realized their true purpose, she punished her son and husband. She is the most influential in the Rising of the Shield Hero’s world.

This woman is for you if you love strong femaleleaders.

7. L’Arc Berg Sickle

Seven, has L’Arc Berg Sickle. This is a character we all long to meet. He is the most charming character in anime and can solve any problem.

He’s also from another planet and is a King there. However, instead of sitting on a podium, the fullest life, he chooses to be a king there. He is strong and has the Vessel Scissor. I love him so much.

He has also a childish side, and he always does his best to not hurt anyone. He is, indeed one of the most beloved characters in this anime.

6. Glass

Glass is well-known in anime due to her powerful aura which can stunanyone. She comes from another world and is a Vassalwielder. She is a Spirit personrace and her goal is to killall heroessummoned into Melromarc.

You might be curious about her strength. It’s so great that she entered their realm all of our heroes were shakenby this immense strength.

But, she hasn’t been seen in Season 1 . Rumours also suggest that Glass can even break prison walls easily.

5. Kizuna Kazayama

Despite her charm, she has powerful magic talents,, and is close to Naofumi and Melty.

2. Naofumi

This is the main character of the anime. Naofumi was brought to Melromarc as one of the four legendary heroes. However, everyone treated him like a burden and as if he was trash.

He is blessed with The Holy Shield. It was only through this shield that he was capable of teaching everyone who thought he was a hindrance a lesson. Although he was pure-hearted, the accusations of Malty made him thirst for revenge.

Naofumiwas the least powerful character at the beginning, but he became one of the most important characters in The Rising of the Shield Hero.

1. Raphtalia

We all agree Raphtalia is the only character that deserves to be on our top list. Raphtalia, a demihuman, was the Shield Hero’s first crew member. Naofumi purchased her from a slave-trader and taught her everything.

Raphtaliahas always loved Naofumias he was the one who saved her life from an unimaginable fate. Our female leader has grown strong enough to fight alongside Naofumi and assist him in pursuing justice on all those who have wronged her.
