Vasco Shot is the captain of the 8th Ship of Blackbeard’s 🏴 ☠️ Pirates. He was once one of the most notorious criminals who was sentenced to death row at the 6th level of Impel Down.

Appearance

He is a large, round man whose size among Blackbeard’s 🏴 ☠️ Pirates is second only to that of San Juan 🐺 Wolf. He was released from Impel Down and now wears the prison uniform with black horizontal stripes. He smiles drunkenly and has a long nose. Oddly, his nose appears to be higher than his eyes. He has a very large forehead and wears what appears to be a jester’s hat on his head. Three earrings are also on his neck. Due to his large intake of alcohol, his skin is bright pink.

To hold the liquor, he wears an orange pumpkin on his back. He has a drunken appearance due to his constant abuse of alcohol. The wineskin he carries on his back has the kanji “sake” (酒?) written at the bottom.

Character

He appears to be a fierce character. He asked Blackbeard for permission to kill all Marineford residents, regardless of their strength. Even the sixth-level prisoners considered him to be brutal for his crimes in Impel Down. As his nickname implies, he is a chronic alcoholic who would invade any city for more alcohol. His personality is unknown because of his drinking habits.

Strength and skill

As captain of Blackbeard’s 8th 🏴 ☠️ Pirate Ship, he is able to exercise authority over many subordinates.

After his capture, he was strong enough to earn imprisonment at the 6th Impel Down level. Blackbeard selected only the most powerful prisoners at that level to prove his strength.

Superhuman strength is his result of being immediately hit by a shockwave from Sengoku.

Histories

Past

Vasco Shot was born in the South Blue. He was one of the most wanted criminals in the entire world. However, he was captured by the World Government. He was sentenced to six years imprisonment in Impel Down.

Saga of Impel Down

When Teach reaches the sixth level, he allows the strongest prisoners to join his crew. Shot fights with other prisoners in his cell, and after he emerges victorious, he rejoins Blackbeard’s Pirates, with whom he leaves prison.

Marineford Saga

He arrives in Marineford. He participates with his new friends and the rest of the crew in the murder of Blackbeard. Shoot him with a volley of bullets.

After the death of the Emperor, Blackbeard’s team covers the deceased 🏴 ☠️ pirate with a black cloth so that Teach takes possession of his powers. Shot and his crew are then attacked by Sengoku’s shockwave, who has transformed into Buddha. Vasco Shot and his friends leave the island after Shanks intervenes.

After the war, saga

Time jump

One year later, the war for supremacy was over. Vasco Shot, the Blackbeard Pirates and the other Blackbeard Pirates clash with the surviving Bonney 🏴 ☠️ Pirates, eager for revenge, and manage to defeat them.

Saga of Whole Cake Island

A year later, Vasco Shot and the other Blackbeard’s 🏴 ☠️ Pirates follow these steps to reach Baltigo Burgess’ Vivre Card. It was destroyed by the Navy, but the Navy and Cipher Pol managed to escape the island after a brief struggle.

Curiosity

• The surname, Vasco, is reminiscent of the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama and the Spanish explorer and conqueror Vasco Núñez de Balboa. Shot is the English name for “shot” and his first name was Shot.
• Shaoxing wine is his favorite Chinese wine made from rice.
