Agatha: Coven of Chaos Release Date
Marvel Studios announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 that Agatha, Coven of Chaos would release on Disney Plus in the winter of 2023.
This is consistent with an Reddit posting which indicated that a few writers who worked with WandaVision were listed on the Writers Guild of America website with the new series as part of their employment history for “2023-2024”.
Surprisingly, this series is listed on the WGA as a comedy. This means that we might be seeing more of Agatha the funny version, rather than the all-powerful villain who causes chaos for Scarlet Witch at WandaVision. It will be interesting to see how Wanda reacts to Wanda’s interference in the multiverse.
Title change for Agatha House of Harkness
You may be wondering if this show was called Agatha House of Harkness. However, when Disney announced that the show would be released, they also revealed that they had changed the name to Coven of chaos.

It states that Amy Poehler may be in the running for a role in Coven of Chaos. However, it isn’t clear what she’s supposed to play.
Take it all in with a grain of salt. Marvel and Poehler have not commented on the news. It has not been reported in trades. Keep an eye out for this. We’ll hopefully get a better idea when filming begins of Hahn’s spin-off series.

Agatha: The Coven of Chaos Trailer
It’s not surprising that there’s no trailer for Agatha’s Coven of Chaos. This is because the series hasn’t yet started filming. Production Weekly had previously stated that the series will begin production in October 2022. However, there is been talk on Twitter of a casting breakdown that suggests that the series will start work in January 2023.
It won’t be until mid-2023 that fans will get their first glimpse at the Agatha series. It won’t likely be online until at least mid-2023, if we were to guess. Agatha will soon be here, true believers.
