American Horror Stories Season 11

American Horror Stories Season 11. FX has announced that American Horror Story season 11 will be available in fall 2022. American Horror Story is Ryan Murphy’s long-running horror series that Brad Falchuk created. It still delivers chills, thrills, and mind-bending plot twists after ten seasons.

It has enjoyed great success with a spinoff called American Horror Stories, currently in its second season on FX on Hulu. The team’s ability to keep the show fresh by introducing a new theme every season, with a rotating cast of actors and characters that often appear out of nowhere, is part of its success.

John Landgraf, chairman of FX, confirmed (opens in new tab) that American Horror Story Season 11 would be arriving at homes this fall during the Television Critics Association summer media tour. The show was renewed for season 13. FX prefers to keep details about the series secret until its premiere. It’s not unusual for FX to have very little information about the show until that moment. However, we will soon learn more about the returning cast members of the latest season of the horror anthology.

This is everything we know about American Horror Story Season 11.

Landgraf confirmed that American Horror Story season 11 will air this fall on FX, but did not make any announcements about the premiere date.

Details about season 11 are actually more difficult to find than usual. TCA’s summer press tour coincides with the current season of Stories. FX will likely wait for that show to end before discussing AHS season 11.

We’ll update you as soon as we have more information. This includes when viewers in the UK can watch the US.

American Horror Story Season 11 Cast

Deadline (opens in new tab) reported that several AHS alumni would join the cast for season 11. These included Zachary Quinto, Billie Lourd, Patti LuPone, and Isaac Powell. Sandra Bernhard and Joe Montello are new faces to the franchise. Charlie Carver is also new.

Casting is like everything else in the AHS world. Nevertheless, several actors have been featured in multiple seasons of AHS (and American Horror Stories) and they might be able to make an appearance in season 11.

Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and the AHS family have been long-standing members. Both actors were absent for season 9, but they returned for season 10. They’ll probably make an appearance if they’re available, regardless of whether it’s a full-season role or a guest appearance. Paulson told Variety (opens in new tab) that she is open to returning but is also concerned about the possibility of fans being more interested in seeing new faces within the franchise. She might not pass for this reason alone.

“Let another person scream, run, and cry for a second. You can do it too. My nervous system. When I was younger, I used to be like, “I can do it all night.” It’s so much fun! It’s so good! Other AHS frequent fliers include Adina Porter and Kathy Bates.

American Horror Story Season 11 plot

Although there aren’t any details about the plot of season 11, it is possible to imagine that there will be connections to other seasons. This is not limited to characters; places from previous seasons may also appear in season 11. It’s half the fun of the season, because you never know what to expect.

The AHS spinoff American Horror Stories has just entered its second season. The season premiere featured a link to AHS season 2, Coven. The first season featured a link back to the first season of AHS. This became Murder House.

This means that American Horror Story is now able to connect with stories from the spinoff, and vice versa. Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have created a vibrant world for viewers to enjoy.

Let’s take a look at the themes from previous seasons.

  • Season 1 Murder House
  • Season 2: Asylum
  • Season 3: Coven
  • Season 4: Freakshow
  • Season 5: Hotel
  • Season 6: Roanoke
  • Season 7: Cult
  • Season 8: The Apocalypse
  • Season 9: 1984
  • Season 10 – Double Feature

American Horror Stories Season 10 review

American Horror Stories Season 10 review

American Horror Story has been the flagship of the Ryan Murphy brand for 10 seasons. It features incredible casts and bizarre plots and forms that challenge the boundaries of television. These qualities make it exciting and enjoyable to follow the show’s progress. However, it is rare that a season of an anthology series actually sticks the landing and tells a coherent story.

Season 10 is technically called Double-Feature. This is because they realized what the best parts of American Horror Story were and reduced them to their essence. The bottom line is that Murphy and his co-creator Brad Falchuk decided to split the season into two parts. The four-episode stretch of Double Features, also known as “Death Valley”, is truly the most enjoyable I’ve ever watched.

Yes, length plays a role. The story of “Death Valley” begins with Episode 7 in Season 10. This fact will confuse future viewers for many years. It is a tale told in both color and black-and-white. The desaturated segments focus on what happens to President Eisenhower (Neal McDonough) when he makes a deal with an alien force in the 1950s that he believes will save humanity.

American Horror Stories Season 10 review

He realizes, just like Lando Calrissian, that the deal is getting worse every day. The aftermath of the deal has to be dealt with by subsequent Presidents Kennedy (Mike Vogel), and Nixon (Craig Sheffer). Dwight’s beloved Mamie (Sarah Paulson), made her own deal with the aliens. This leads to a tragic and ominous ending.

The compressed runtime works well here, given the wide-ranging nature of the characters involved. A lot of “Death Valley” is dedicated to the present story of four college students who are impregnated by aliens. The aliens, who have been working on a hybridization project since their arrival on Earth, spend a lot of the movie focusing on their camping trip in the desert. While actors Kaia Gerber and Nico Greetham are very enthusiastic about what’s to follow, Isaac Cole Powell and Rachel Hilson make it easy to appreciate the gross-out factor of these characters’ gruesome fates.

There’s no need to waste time or go off-topic. Instead, Death Valley moves at an unrelenting pace through a broad swathe of American history with a skewed lens. This includes ridiculous beats such as Stanley Kubrick (Jeff Heapy), faking a moon landing on a soundstage, or Nixon doing some good old-fashioned anal probing. The alien conspiracy storyline is a hilarious riff on old tropes. It’s almost parody at times, but Ryan Murphy does it in a singular way that makes it a must-see for all X-Files fans.

Although the finale may feel a little rushed, it’s not impossible to top the oh my-god moments when a girl was laser-cut to make her body into a perfect breeding platform for human-alien hybrids or simply casually exploding Mamie Eisenhower’s skull. Mamie did die knowing that her legacy would continue in the form of annual Halloween, Christmas, and birthday celebrations. It’s a very nihilistic storyline, with the brutality of these characters’ lives and the promise of destruction for the human race. It was entertaining, though.

American Horror Stories Season 10 review

If “Death Valley” had been extended to include a full 10 episode season, I doubt that this would have happened. Even “Red Tide”, the first storyline in Season 10, was not as captivating after the core premise was revealed. The fun of watching Frances Conroy and Evan Peters sing karaoke became too distracting to keep them interested in Harry Gardner (Finn Wittrock), who is the Worst Dad Ever. Sometimes, it is important to know how long a story should be. In the case of Death Valley, that was the case. The story was just long enough for all the good bits and not too long.

This experiment is something we might see in future American Horror Story episodes. The existence of American Horror Stories would suggest an interest in shorter narratives. The defining characteristic of the American Horror Story series to me has been the belief that anything is possible. Literally, anything is possible. You can even make something wild and fun like “Death Valley.”
