Atlanta Season 4 Episode 5 Review

The fifth episode, titled “Work Ethic!,” and written by Janine Nabers and Donald Glover, is both funny and scary. The summary goes like this: Van walks into this strange studio-turned-personal office and finds Mr. Chocolate seated there. This is the first time that she and the audience have ever seen him in this filthy cabin. Van asks Lottie about her whereabouts, and supports her efforts in reclaiming her.
He shows Lottie a new show and shares his strategy to make her a star. He is not affected by her throwing hot, steaming meals at him. Mikey, who arrives in the room along with Lottie, appears to be happy to meet him in person.
This P.A. Van instructs Lottie not to be used for his projects without her permission. The child wants to be part of this glamorous world. This is more than just her wish. It strengthens Mr. Chocolate’s case. Van, however, drags Lottie from the production company amid her protests.

Lottie later learns that she has apologized to Shamik for the unexpected events. After their cuddle, Van sees Shamik’s card, which showed him only being sexually interested in her. This makes him a typical man, who shows a soft side to expose his douchey outlook.
She prepares her for making such decisions about what she believes as an adult. Van is referred to by the majority of staff in a creepy manner. They, the black community, must stay close to one another. It takes a lot of effort to convince everyone to work together on degrading works to foster a sense of community.
This installment not only denies the futility of blind loyalty to a reasonable purpose, but also denies the divinity bestowed on such ‘artists’ by their very loyalty. It also demonstrates the frightening nature of the rabbit hole that is self-interest. This leads many parents to let their children follow this dangerous, never-ending road.
Atlanta Season 4 Review

The Atlanta cast and crew performed a remarkable turnaround. Imagine if there were two years between S1 and S2. Then, three years later, S2 and then S3. This was a great season debut, with many references to Robbin’ Season, especially the no-chase strategy.
I was excited to see Tracy in episode 2. However, episode 2 was a wild rollercoaster ride that left me wanting more. We had eight episodes left for us to explore Van’s mind. Darius, my friend, cannot catch a break.
An elderly woman in a wheelchair follows him even though he’s not closing down Nigerian restaurants. It’s almost as if he is being haunted. Atlanta continues to incorporate actual events into its plots. We are excited to see what this season brings.
