Bullbuster Anime Officially Announced

Kadokawa revealed Friday that a TV anime version of their Bullbuster project will be made. The show will also participate in the Kitakyushu Pop Culture Festival on November 27, 2022. Fans can expect to see the entire cast of the show. A booth setup will be available the day before. Hiroyuki Nagao and P.I.C.S. did the initial planning and work. Eisaku Kubonouchi was the original character designer. Hiroyasu Aki will direct the series and also write the screenplays.
Takahisa Katagiri, Takahisa Katagiri’s designer, will design the design based on Kubonouchi’s creations. Bullbuster Anime’s mechanical artist will be Junji Okubo. The series’ cast was also announced. The original concept book for the franchise was published at Comitia122, November 23, 2017, and then at Comiket.
Hiroyuki Nagao wrote a series of novels and Eisaku Kubonouchi illustrated them. The first issue was published on December 27, 2018. Two volumes were published as of September 2019.

Anime

On November 18, 2022, the announcement was made that there would be an anime television series. Hiroyasu Akoki will direct the series. NUT will produce it. Takahisa Katagiri will adapt Kubonouchi’s original animation designs, while Junji Okubo will be the mechanical designer. It will premiere in 2023.
