When Will Cheer Season 3 Release Date?
Given the success of Season 2, it’s safe to assume that we’ll be getting a Cheer renewal soon. What are the chances of a third season? Here’s everything we know so far.
Previously on Cheer…
Season 2 of Cheer focused on Navarro’s cheer team’s trip to Daytona, as well as the journeys of its rivals. The series highlighted the many challenges faced by the cheer squad due to the sudden COVID-19 epidemic.
The series also discussed how the cheer squad had to be almost completely reselected after schools reopened, as many students had graduated during the time of the pandemic. Cast members like Monic Aldama had to take a break from the show in order to appear on Dancing with the Stars. The second season featured all of the drama and stress surrounding Jerry Harris’ arrest and the sudden success that followed.
Season 3 will likely pick up right where season 2 left off. However, this time, it will provide fans with more new faces to watch. Season 3 will continue the intense rivalry between opposing sides and the legal case of the former team promoter.
What’s the story behind “Cheer” season 2?
Cheer Season 2 is the second series of Cheerleading. It will follow the same format as the original series.
Their biggest rivals are Trinity Valley in Texas, a small community college located 40 miles from Navarro College.
Season 2 of Cheer will focus on the aftermath of Jerry Harris, a Navarro College cheerleader who was accused of federal sexual misconduct and producing child pornography. Harris pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The audience will be able to learn more about their cheerleaders as well as why Navarro is so important to them.
“I believe history will be the best version possible of itself if you are true to what is true and don’t run from it.” This season documents events from January 2020 through April 2021. It includes past Navarro College as well as rival Trinity Valley Community College, which were on the way to winning the national championship.
“The new episodes also address very difficult times, such as the impact of COVID-19 or the criminal charges against one of Navarro’s former teammates. It was heartbreaking, inspiring, frustrating, and at times even moving. I was honored to be a part of their lives. On our final day of filming in Daytona I thought to myself, “I can’t believe that we saw what was happening, but we actually experienced it live. We can lead the public if we do our jobs well.”
Is there a third season of Cheer?
Netflix has yet to confirm a third season for the cheer series in August 2022. The news came just weeks after the first season premiered on Netflix. Season 3 could be in production and is expected to release in late 2022/early 2023.
Since the first season came as a surprise to many viewers, the news came just weeks after the second season premiered on Netflix – it is possible that season 3 is already in production and will be available at the end of 2022/beginning of 2023.
The NCA says that this year’s championships will still be held from April 6-10. This means that Navarro and TVCC (with Netflix cameras) should already be practicing and preparing for competition in a few months.
All About Cheer Season 3
After the events of season two, Season three will continue with Cheer. Expect a new cast and competitions as a result. Seasons one and two focused on the difficulties that Trinity Valley Community College and Navarro College encountered on their way to NCC.
Season 2 was a huge success and fans loved it. We expect season 3 to be just as entertaining.
Cheer Season 3 Release Date
The sad conclusion to Season 2 raises questions about the possibility of a third. Netflix has not yet stated whether there is a renewal plan. This is not surprising considering that Season 2 was just released. Netflix usually waits 30 to 90 days before renewing a series to assess its performance. Bridgerton was also on hold for one month!
However, fans may not be able to wait as long. Netflix took more than two years to announce that Season 2 was being made, despite filming having been ongoing since the original season’s release. Season 1 was released January 8, 2020. Season 2 was announced December 28, 2021. It was released two weeks later on January 12, 2022. It is not known when Cheer Season 3 will air. The Navarro Bulldogs will be back on TV in January. However, it is unclear if this would take place in January 2023 or 2024 if they continue the current trend. The expected release date for Cheer Season 3 is 4 January 2023.
Cheer’s third season is being planned, according to some reports. Greg Whitely, the show’s creator, has been filming at Navarro College since 2005. If true, then the third part of Cheer will be released in January 2023. Fans might also expect an earlier release.
This is only a speculation, as the series has not been confirmed for another season. We are optimistic that the series will continue to offer more for fans.
Netflix offers all previous episodes of Cheer for streaming. There are currently 15 episodes left from the previous seasons. It is unclear if season 3 will continue with the same 6-8 episode count. For more information on Cheer Season 3, please visit this page. Keep watching.
Cheer Season 3: What’s the plot?

After the events of season two, Season 3 will resume. Be ready for a new slate of cast members and competitions. As they made their way to NCC, the previous seasons focused on the challenges faced by Navarro College and Trinity Valley Community College. We are not surprised that season 2 was a huge success with the audience. We expect the third installment to be just as funny.
Season 3 Cast: Who Will Be There?

It will be wonderful to see our favorite characters back if the series is approved for television. Gabi Butler said she will likely return to junior high school, as she still has one year left. Morgan Simianer’s tour ends at the end of her last season.
She is not willing to return to Navarro. Simianer said that she had a great time at the concert. Shannon Woosley, Maddy Brum and Monica Aldama will continue to be in the docuseries. However, Cassadee Dunlap is not so thrilled about the possibility for a third season as she has other plans. Dunlap is now the only one to leave; Jada Wooden from the other team is refusing to sign the dotted line.
Whitely was working on Last Chance U football series when he got the idea for Cheer. Whiteley’s extraordinary works have won him acclaim from spectators. We expect to see more of his work in future.

Final words: There is no information on when Cheer Season 3 will be released. Fans will have to wait until January to see the Navarro Bulldogs once again, even if it’s January 2023 or 2024, if the show follows the same format.
