CHICAGO PD SEASON 10 WILL INCLUDE MAJOR CHANGES FOR THE NBC DRAMA. HERE’S EVERYTHING TO KNOW INCLUDING CAST, PLOT DETAILS AND RELEASE DATE.
What Is Chicago PD Season 10’s Story?

Chicago P.D. Season 9 ended with the outcome of a multi-episode storyline involving the sometimes controversial Hank Voight and his confidential informant Anna Avalos (portrayed by Carmela Zumbado). In Season 9, Episode 22, “You and Me,” the Intelligence Unit finally confronted their ongoing nemesis Javier Escano. However, it came at the cost of Anna’s life as one member of Intelligence was compelled to shoot her. Season 10 must deal with the fallout from that case, given Voight’s closeness to Anna.
It will also have to deal with some significant changes in the Intelligence Unit, as the One Chicago drama is featuring a major cast shakeup during the season (more on that below).
That will undoubtedly be something that plays out over several episodes as the writers plan out an exit storyline and the remaining characters deal with the loss of another team member. Intelligence is no stranger to turnover — one only needs to look back at the exit of Antonio Dawson to see how quickly they can move on — but how exactly will they move on?
When is the new season of Chicago PD?

The new season of Chicago PD will premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 21. The day in question will be called One Chicago Wednesday, since the other two shows in the franchise will air earlier on the same night. As with earlier seasons, PD will once again be holding down the 10 p.m. time slot, serving as the capper after Chicago Med and Chicago Fire on NBC.
There hasn’t been much revealed concerning the show, and what the characters will be coping with, but we do know that Benjamin Levy Aguilar will return as Dante Torres after making a memorable appearance in season 9.
While information remains scarce, we can assume that the premiere will touch on the aftermath of Anna Avalos’s death, and how it has affected Voight.
Chicago P.D season 10 Release date?
NBC’s Chicago P.D. is one of the longest-running police procedurals and a major part of the One Chicago franchise. The first spinoff of Chicago Fire, the series developed its own enormous fan base following the Intelligence Unit, a unique squad of officers and detectives who are ready to do whatever it takes to solve crimes. Although it is generally the lowest-rated of the franchise (owing to its late time slot), it is the one most likely to have viewers talking.
The series is set to enter its tenth cycle, which is impressive for any show. However, there are serious changes on the horizon that will make Season 10 a year of transition. Before it begins, here is everything that viewers need to be aware of concerning the new Chicago P.D. season, including cast changes, plot details, how to watch and the season premiere date.

What To Expect From Chicago PD Season 10?
Since the earlier seasons have obtained a fair amount of success and appreciation, it is only fair that we anticipate good things from this new season as well. The show will pick up from where its earlier season left off and plenty of good content can be anticipated from the same.
The viewers can look forward to finding out the new dynamic between Voight and Upton after Anna’s death since Anna’s death was tragic and Voight feels responsible for the same. Several things can be expected to change and the introduction of any new characters will most likely bring a refreshing twist to the plot of the show. One thing can be assured and that is that Chicago PD season 10 will certainly have a sufficient amount of action and charming crime drama.
