Chucky fans were thrilled to hear that the horror-drama (and dare I say comedy?) was coming. We now have more information about what to expect, who will be returning, and when Chucky season 2 will drop.
Chucky Episode 7 Recap and Analysis: Twice as Grieving, Two Times the Loss
Andy was riding into the sunset last time we saw him. He’s not a hero but a willing accomplice that may be forced to assist Charles in achieving his vision. The visual and previous teases suggesting that Andy may not be pure good beneath the surface leads viewers to wonder if Andy will eventually turn to the dark side. He would make a great villain for season two, since he knows Chucky well. Jake and his friends were unable to stop the doll this round. Andy could be on Chucky’s side.
Let’s now focus on the future and how Chucky executed the story that began in the pilot. The first episode featured Jake as a serial killer. He was clearly ready for Chucky to give him that final push towards madness. Viewers have witnessed Jake become frighteningly close to unleashing his inner monster since then. He fought back against the manipulation of the killer doll. Powered by his desire to be a good person, and supported by a budding romance with Devon, Jake is able to fight Chucky.
The arc ends in “Affair To Dismember” which focuses on Jake’s relationship with Devon and his fight with Chucky. Jake and Devon finally get to kiss. In the end, Jake shows Chucky who he thought he was, in a showdown between the doll’s former owner and Jake. The two of them fight until the end. At this point, Jake squeezes Chucky so hard that his eyes bulge out of his head. It’s evident that Jake has accepted himself as he is, warts and all, and it’s a powerful message. However, any celebrations of Jake’s victory over Chucky will not last. With the knowledge that the series is returning for a second season, viewers will know that Charles will seek revenge just as he has always done.
“An Affair To Dismember” wraps up the first season of Chucky. Although it doesn’t wrap up the story neatly, that’s a great thing. The series left fans excited for the next adventure of Jake, Charles Lee Ray and the colorful cast of characters by leaving some threads unfinished at the end. This finale closes the first season and sets the stage for a future that promises to be equally captivating.
Warning! You may be disappointed if you don’t have all the season 1 episodes.
Fans were taken by surprise when Chucky‘s first season aired. We had doubts about this doll. At least, I had my doubts. The series arrived just in time for Halloween, but horror lovers love the thrills of any season. We’re still all about Chucky even as we get closer to the holidays! Unfortunately, season 1 is over after just 8 episodes. It’s not all bad news.
Is Chucky season 2 on the horizon?
Yes! Yes! Sources say that the horror series reached 9.5 million viewers its first season. That’s enough horror fans to keep it going. You can watch the entire season on Peacock if you haven’t yet watched Chucky.

An official synopsis has yet to be released. It is too soon for this. It’s not difficult to guess. Season 1 ended with a fun cliffhanger and the surprise appearance of Tiffany – the doll, not the person (it’s complex).
