Official Trailer of Dr. Death Season 2

Dr. Death | Official Trailer | Peacock Original by Peacock

Official trailer takes inspiration from the Peacock Network’s synopsis, which states: “Based on Wondery’s hit podcast DR.DEATH, it is inspired by Dr. Christopher Duntsch (Joshua Jackson), an emerging star in the Dallas Medical Community. Dr. Duntsch was a young charismatic and brilliant surgeon who was just starting to build a profitable practice in neurosurgery. For complex and routine spinal procedures, patients entered Dr. Duntsch’s operating room. They were left permanently incapacitated or dead.

Dr. Death Season 1 RECAP

Christopher Duntsch was a name I hadn’t heard of until I saw Dr Death (Starzplay on Amazon Prime).

It is a story about two of his colleagues, Dr Henderson, and Dr Kirby who, after performing revision surgeries on Duntsch’s work and discovering what Kirby calls “Dr Duntsch splatter paints”, realized they were dealing in something far more than incompetence.

Although Jackson is a terrifying and wonderful performer, a man with a lack of self-confidence doesn’t make for a compelling character, especially when you consider that Jackson only has eight hours to watch.

It is clear that his father was a strict Christian, and his mother was a strong supporter of him and his brother.

As they set out to end Duntsch’s career, Henderson informs Kirby that the question is not why he did it.
