After returning to our screens on March 11, the rest of the season has begun. The CW is airing the episodes in their Friday night slot at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT).

Dynasty can be viewed on Netflix in the UK and around the globe, but no release date has been announced for season 5. Seasons have been released to the streaming channel in previous years after they are finished airing in the US. This suggests that season 5 could arrive around September/October.

The good news? It’s believed that the entire season will be available on Netflix at once, which includes the Christmas special. This means you won’t need to watch them weekly like you do on The CW. Get ready to binge-watch.

Dynasty Season 5 plot

You may recall that Fallon was shot by Eva, her husband-stealing, evil assistant, at a major event in Blake’s campaign. But, while we don’t know her fate, we do know that the new season is full of drama.

Some reports suggest that season five may see some twists and turns. Blake and Cristal will be working on the next phase of their campaign while Alexis is still in jail. Adam managed to get Alexis arrested. Amanda then sets out to find who might be responsible.

Reports have suggested that Eliza Bennet, a British actress, will be joining the show as a regular. Deadline reports Eliza will play Amanda, a long-lost Carrington relative from Europe. She brings only drama. According to CW, Amanda is a long-lost Carrington cousin, born and raised in Europe. She arrives at the Carrington doorstep bringing with it a treasure trove full of secrets… and hers.

Is there a trailer of Dynasty season 5?

The festive trailer shows Casa Carrington at Christmas, but Blake points out that “this is certainly not the most magical time of the year”.

Fans will be left wondering if Fallon has died, but Fallon is not visible in the trailer. Although it seems unlikely that they would kill Fallon, we aren’t hopeful by the look on Liam’s, Culhane’s, Sam’s, and Kirby’s faces.
