From starts its second season on April 1st, on MGM+ (fka Epix). It will begin its second season of sci-fi horror on Sunday, April 23rd. This was announced at the Television Critics Association winter press conference in Pasadena.

John Griffin created FROM, which he executive-produced with Jack Bender ( Lost and Game of Thrones), and Jeff Pinkner ( Lost and Fringe). This show reveals the secrets of a haunting town that traps everyone who enters.

Season 2: “Hideous truths about the origins and nature of the town start to emerge as the residents of the town are thrown into chaos by mysterious newcomers.” This bus pulled into town right at the end of Season 1.

A fallen tree blocks the road as you drive along a mountain road. After carefully maneuvering around the tree, you realize that you are passing through the same place over and over again. At night, there are terrifying creatures waiting to kill you. From introduced this world to us in its first season. We’ll hopefully get more answers with From season 2.

This series of chilling horror stories that blend science fiction with horror was created by John Griffin and Jack Bender, Jeff Pinkner and the team behind Lost.

Before From Season 2

There are two types of people in the town. One is the members of the actual town who live according to certain rules and regulations. On the other hand, Donna cares for the colony house, which is a place where the residents live like hippies and grow their own food.

Boyd Stevens (Harold Perrineau), an ex-military man, is the self-appointed sheriff in the town. He maintains law, order, and security with Kenny, his deputy. Boyd patrols the streets every evening before it gets dark. He carries a bell and signals the residents to stop working. Then they lock their doors in their houses. A stone talisman hangs near the door. Boyd advised residents to secure their windows to prevent the creatures of night from luring innocent people into opening the doors. Season 1 begins with Meagan, a young girl who opens the door to a monster at night. The creature convinces Meagan she is her grandmother. Boyd finds Meagan’s severed body the next morning after Meagan opens her door to the monster invasion.

What’s From all about?

The details of the second season of From are not known. However, it is clear that people in the town remain trapped and trying to figure out what is happening. As new people arrive, the search for answers becomes more intense. A new layer of mystery is added by the discovery of portals that can take people from the trees to other locations within the town’s borders.

‘From Season 1: The Ending Explained

These creatures were unable to enter the protected building by the talisman and they began tricking people into opening it for them in order to eat. Episode 7 shows Jasmine, a creature, tricking Kevin to open the window for them. The entire horde then attacked the mansion and killed fourteen people. Others who survived were left with mental trauma and lost any hope of ever returning home.

Father Khatri was also attacked by these creatures that night and died in Boyd’s arms. Father Khatri had taken Sara into his basement church, but didn’t want her to die. Sara was the only one who could communicate with the creatures. Father Khatri believed that Sara would give him the answers he needed about the mysterious realm and the monsters within it.

Boyd discovered that Father Khatri had died from Parkinson’s disease. He decided to take his own life and go into the forest to fulfill Father Khatri’s final wish. Boyd used to go into the woods as the home of these monsters when he arrived in town. Boyd was driven to find answers. However, Abby, his wife, lost her sanity, and began shooting people in her absence. Boyd shot Abby after she pointed a gun at Ellis’ son. Ellis did not forgive his father for abandoning his mother during a time of crisis. Boyd, on the other hand, lost his curiosity and remained focused on helping people adapt to new environments.

From Season 2 Release Date

Season 2 will be available on April 23rd on MGM Plus. The first season of MGM Plus can be viewed by US viewers. MGM Plus can be accessed via several streaming services, including Philo and Prime video.
