The show is a long-lasting success. The original Heartbreak High lasted seven seasons. If the remake is any indication, there will be many more.
Although the storyline will be reimagined, it is likely to diverge from the original source material. However, it is nice to know that the structure and bones are available for the show to draw from should it so desire. This also means that there are many more elements to explore.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN SEASON 2?
Harper and Amerie reconciled in the season one finale after Harper disclosed the circumstances of her trauma with Chook. Chook was responsible for Harper’s abduction, which could have had unimaginable consequences.
Season two will likely see Chook’s BFFs taking more revenge on him.
In romance, Amerie’s relationship with Malakai seemed to have ended. But, something tells me they aren’t over each other. These lingering glances, anyone?
Darren and Ca$h’s romance was a joy to us, until it was drenched in ice water when Ca$H was arrested. Season two will undoubtedly tell their story even more.
We can only hope that the reboot of the OG Heartbreak High in the 90s will get the same treatment, considering it lasted seven seasons.
