My original idea came out of a trip I took to a beach with friends I had known since kindergarten. One of my friends was extremely rude. We were getting into trouble. The reality was much different from what we anticipated.

The 10-episode series was co-created by Zurita and Emiliano, Zurita’s brother. Each episode includes English subtitles. It centers on Sebastian Ybarra (a Mexican actor) who lives with Lucia Almanza (Pamela Almanza) for 10 years. The series premieres on national television with Sebastian proposing his love to Lucia. It doesn’t work out as planned.

Sebastian, a sensitive and romantic heart, is a victim of his own ineptitude. Sebastian steps into the dating world — with all that it involves vis-a–vis social media — while getting (mostly unwanted) advice from his close group of friends: Fish, Gonzo (Fabrizio Santini). Zurita says that friendship is a different kind of relationship. They wanted to discover why these men have been together for so long. Both men are from different parts of the same coin, but they complement each other. It was hard to believe that someone in their 30s would spend so much of their time with each other. What if they did? It’s impossible to communicate in the same way with friends. This is what I wanted to do.

Although the group has great chemistry on-screen, Zurita, who is a veteran of Mexican soaps, claims he didn’t know any of the co-stars before the series was shot in Mexico City.

He said, “The casting process was very time-consuming.” Casting took almost five months, which is quite unusual in Mexico. My brother and myself were present at each casting session… it was essential that there be genuine chemistry among the cast. Some actors had to go through up to nine callbacks. We went bowling and had a lot of fun. We had many rehearsals, which is not something you see on Mexican television.

But it is Sebastian who is the main character of Season 1. Zurita explained that the journey of Sebastian to find true love is unpredictable and hilarious.

He said viewers should be prepared for surprises. The show has many moments when it’s hard to know what’s happening. The plot twists can make each character’s lives very confusing. This is crazy.

He said, “But this was not all, the jokes had been character-driven.” Sebastian is experiencing an emotional rollercoaster. Although he is okay, he wants to move on from the experience. He has tried many techniques, including social media, the old romantic method and a course about meeting women. He’s realizing that not all his friends have his best interests at heart.

“Sometimes you’re not ready to find true romance yet. He’s trying to rush into the wrong things.”

Zurita also stated that it was crucial for “How To Survive Being Single” to reflect the 2020 dating scene.

“We had six writers, including three women and three men. We wanted to challenge the notions of what women want and vice-versa. We also wanted a look at real life during the MeToo age.

Similar to the streaming site, it’s my first venture in Spanish comedy. (My portfolio contains a few episodes on Netflix. Elite) I began while I was in quarantine. I was also going through the anxiety-inducing procedure. Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) I was expecting a lot. But don’t be alarmed!

The series is based on four episodes and is a comedy. It fulfills its promise to show “how the dating world has changed in Mexico”, as it does.

This series targets millennials and contains references to Tinder and hook-up culture. Love Ride is a character that created a dating and ride-sharing app. It emphasizes friendship and the importance of having a support group for those who have broken up with “the one”.

Sebastian (nickname Seba), is the main focus of the 13-episode series. Sebastian Zurita is his fictional character. The series is a mix of fiction and autobiographical. We don’t know much about Sebastian’s love life with Lucia until the movie premiere. We can only rely on bits of information that we see throughout the episodes. This is mainly due to their shared comfort and familiarity.

The series hopes that viewers will find a way to relate to the stories and Seba’s through their own experiences with long-term relationships and breakups.

This makes Lucia an aside-character Sebastian has little energy for since she’s not there. While he is still hurting from the breakup, Sebastian doesn’t want him to talk it through, get an explanation or get back together.

He is done with it, and Mr. It’s easier for the audience to support Seba, and to concentrate on his journey, than if Lucia is not there.

Seba, a self-described romantic who has been out of the dating scene for 10 years, feels out of his depth when he steps into the dating world. Seba’s friends offer him lots of dating advice (both good and bad), including how to get over Lucia.

Seba isn’t only broke because he was cheated upon, but also because he feels sorry for his career, the job he has played, and himself.

Seba’s journey through grief and sorrow takes unexpected turns.

Christian Chavez’s involvement as a cult leader is one example of this strange story. He is a well-known Mexican actor, singer/songwriter, and actor. Zuritas has made it clear that will give newcomers and celebrities equal seats at the table. Even though the stories may seem a little unusual, you can expect a lot of cameo appearances.

The leader of the cult Chavez aims to make everyone happy in every way possible. Although it’s a very bizarre story, it also illustrates how cults thrive when people are vulnerable. Sebastian was able, in spite of these problems, to accept the idea and seek help from any type of “therapy group”. He also understood the importance that you feel what you need now. Faking it till you make it is not always a good idea. You are still breathing if you feel the grief.

Seba then decides that technology will help him find his true love. It is difficult for Seba to navigate the new world of dating when his date is a complete nightmare. Seba has just been on his first date since the breakup. Seba is determined to make it work. Let’s be clear: Not every date will go as planned and not everyone will like you. That’s okay. Seba recognizes this and is able to be open to new possibilities, including the gorgeous biker girl Julieta.

Seba makes posters to help him locate his “missed love” in real life. This is how love stories are born. Seba admits to being a bit naive. The point is that Seba still relies upon old ways to connect with someone, even though the world is trying hard to introduce him into “new wave” dating via app.

Seba is the type of man you want to find when you use a dating site. Because of the time and effort put into finding Julieta. They are real.

It’s a surprise twist when Julieta is searched. The series shows that there are many ways to go in Seba’s universe. This is something that audiences will appreciate more the sooner they accept it.

As I said before, Seba is surrounded by friends. When they are so integral to his life and the series, it would be unfair not to pay attention to them.

Daniel (Roberto Flores), and Mafer (Lucia Gomez Robledo), are the show’s only (and most powerful) couple. They show that you don’t need anything else if the right one is available.

Gonzalo (Octavio Hinojosa), is thirsty after Fabiana. She is the most spunky member on the crew. It’s evident that Fabiana is hardworking and will eventually give way to Gonzalo.

Fish (Fabrizio Santitini) is another dumped animal who seems to be more familiar with the single world than Seba.

Seba’s first four 30-minute episodes are proof that life isn’t always easy, but it’s possible to have the right things happen. Singleness is better than being in a romantic relationship with someone who lies to you or betrays you.

The comedy isn’t apparent to have been modified in order to appeal to American audiences, but it is evident other Spanish-language shows enjoy success.

Love is universal… but it can also be used to get your heartbroken, or swipe right.
