Naoya is amazed at Kamo’s ability to dodge his deadly attack. Kamo also realizes that he wouldn’t have survived if he hadn’t blocked the attack with blood. Kamo uses the Flowing Red Scale to keep his guard up. Kamo uses Crimson Binding to bind Naoya in blood, while Maki attacks him. He is able to deflect her attack to break the bind.

Kamo is curious about Naoya’s transformation into a curse, but he hasn’t lost his ego. Kamo is told by Maki that Naoya still has the Cursed Technique and Naoya uses it to freeze any object he touches. He touches the sky, then explodes it.

Kamo says that Naoya is flying high into the sky. Maki tells Kamo that he isn’t fleeing, but rather speeding up to attack them. Kamo asks Maki how fast Naoya can go.
