The title of Kingdom Season 4 Episode 23 was “Reversal Rush.” Shou Hei’s army is heading towards Duke Rongdi. Shou Hei makes his way through the troops by slaughtering everyone. Heki is astonished to see Shou fight so ferociously. Kai Oku tells him that Shou’s military prowess is at Meng Wu’s level, while his brain is on par with Li Mu’s.

The Noko squad attacks the army from the east, but Huang Long’s unit takes care of them. The Hamui squad shows up and is heading towards Shou by the left wall. However, they are stopped by Hyou Shiga and his black corps.

Ka Ryo tells Shang Lu to tell the troops to break their formation directly and form walls on all sides. She tells him to trust her and Shou Hei. Shou’s army has used the lightning formation to corner Rongdi in the center.

With Ka Ryo’s move, the lightning formation is complete. Now Rongdi has nowhere to run. Rongdi’s men tell him to retreat for now, but he refuses. He sees that there is no way out of this and decides to move forward.

Rongdi moves forward right in the direction of Shou. His only way out is to move towards the main attack and slip past. If Shou doesn’t take him down, he will go right into the sea of Rongdi army behind Shou’s army.

Rongdi tells Badai that the army will fall once he is dead. So Badai should ensure that the next generation will avenge his death. He heads straight for Shou, and they both clash, but Shou attacks his hand, causing Rongdi’s weapon to fall down. He acknowledges that he is no match for Shou in any way.

Shou cuts his head down, causing panic to induce in the rebel army. Kai Oku takes Rongdi’s head and flies it high to show that they have gained the battle. Ka Ryo removes the wall from behind, paving the way for the rebel army to run away.

The news of the rebel army’s defeat reaches Fan Wuji, who decides to retreat. Shin shows up in front of Shou and asks about Ei Sei’s crowning ceremony to Shou Bun Kun. Bun Kun tells him that the ceremony has reached its conclusion. This marks the fall of Lu Buwei.

Shin asks Shou Hei why he turned his back on Lu Buwei. Shou Hei tells him that he also dreams of a unified middle kingdom, and the current ruler is someone to whom he can entrust this dream.

Shin feels relaxed and asks Bun Kun to announce it one last time. Bun Kun exclaims that the long battle against Lu Buwei ends with his highness’s total and full victory.

Thus, the dukes appeared to be dominating the battle. In the second half of the episode, the Dukes did come up with a method to breach the walls. However, Shou Hei Kun was banking on a plan that was not known yet. The episode came to an end without showing which part of the territory gained the last fight. But the rebellion is certain to come to an end in the final episode.
