Natalie Lee and Shayne Jansen are classic examples of “opposites attract.” Despite having very different personalities, they claim to be best friends and deeply in love. They are the most engaged couple in season 2’s episode 9. Both of them say that they plan to marry on their wedding day 100 percent.

“I am so sorry.” She tells him that she still loves and cherishes him, but there are so many issues they need to work through. They talk after the wedding but Shayne rejects her first attempt to have a discussion.

He also clarified his thoughts about Shaina. “Shaina is cordial and has hung out with the cast (with Natalie), however, we have never had nor will have a romantic relationship. I wish her all of the best.”

Natalie revealed that they had tried to keep their relationship going for several months during the reunion. She says, “We tried again after our wedding day.” Shayne says that their emotions were too raw at the time and were “too fresh” at the time. They are not currently in a relationship.

Deepti and Shake

Deepti Vempati & Abhishek Chatterjee, who come from similar families and backgrounds, seem like the perfect match. Deepti’s physical attraction is something Shake often expresses reservations about. Even his mother thinks his fiancée deserves better.

Deepti is in agreement, as she said “I don’t” on their wedding day. “I deserve someone who knows for certain. Shake tells her, “So I’m choosing me and I’m going to say no,” before she returns down the aisle.

Salvador and Mallory

Danielle and Nick

This season, Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl are on an emotional rollercoaster. Danielle is open about her struggles with anxiety and other mental health problems. Nick is supportive but they often argue.

Episode 9: Danielle declares “I do,” but Nick seems to be hesitant. He eventually says “I do” too. He tells her, “I have no doubt whatsoever that you’re the person I’m supposed to be with.”

Jarrette Jones is taller than Iyanna McNeely, but they are inseparable when it comes to wanting to have children.

Jarrette is worried that Iyanna will be Jarrette’s second choice since he proposed to Mallory in the pods. She worries he’s still living a single-man lifestyle and partying into the early hours of the morning. Jarrette insists that he is ready to settle down.

He supports his words by saying “I do” at the altar. Iyanna also says yes. They get married, and then they dance together.

This reunion shows that Jarrette is still married to Iyanna. She also has some great braids. Both wore red coordinating outfits and looked rock-solid.

Season 2 of Other Love Is Blind – Engaged Couples

Three more couples were engaged in Love Is Blind season 2 pods.

One couple, Shaina Hurley and Kyle Abrams, are featured on the show. They go to Mexico for their honeymoon. Shaina is shocked to learn that Kyle is atheist, even though she is a Christian. She decides to leave Mexico and not spend the night in her hotel room. Shaina meets Kyle in Chicago and introduces him to her family. However, Shaina decides that their religious differences make it too difficult for them to be together and ends up breaking up.

Shaina still feels for Shayne. She was a close friend of Shayne in the pods, before he chose Natalie. He shuts her down when she tries to flirt with him at a bonfire party.

Shaina admits that she shouldn’t have accepted Kyle’s proposal at the reunion. Shayne and Shaina also clarified that they are only friends. Kyle wishes he had pursued Deepti, but instead.

Love Is Blind season 2 featured two other engaged couples, but they were not featured (just like season 1). Jason Beaumont and Kara Williams are the first, and Joey Miller and Caitlin McKee are the second. However, neither couple survived.
