Review Before Watching MAY I HELP YOU Season 2

This drama begins with a story that isn’t really new, but with a fresh outlook. The story starts simple, but it becomes more complicated as time passes.

It reminds me a lot of the Kdrama Hotel del Luna’s plot, which was centered around a mysterious female lead.

The story is more than that with 21 spirits the main character must grant.

This is a watch that’s both dramatic and non-nonsense. This shows how every good deed pays off in the end.

I don’t have a problem with the plot and writing. This is where I enjoy it, except for the fact that the ex-boyfriend arc is coming back. It sometimes spoils the plot.

The romance is less in the finale, but it makes up for that by showing all the side stories and wrapping up the loose ends. That’s a good thing, at least.

It is a great place to watch actors act. Priest and Vincent are my favorite characters. The only thing I didn’t love about the show was how much they did and how poorly they closed.

Both leads were great, but I felt Lee Hyeri was a bit too impulsive at times. It was a great drama and I’m glad I finished it.

It all feels rushed. But, the last episode saved it. You should watch this episode. It’s a wonderful ending for all things supernatural.

Verdict

This drama isn’t bad overall. It does contain a few story arcs that I didn’t like, but it has a great overall message: cherish the ones you love.

It’s impossible to predict when someone will die so don’t lose heart and keep doing the best you can. These are the messages I took away from this drama.

Is May I Help You? worthwhile watching? If you have the time, even if it is only one viewing, it is well worth it. It’s worth rewatching, but I don’t know if it would be worthwhile. Score: 7.5/10
