Tetsuo’s only option is to try to avoid being attacked as much as possible. Tetsuo has no other options than to save his family from this crisis. The normal middle-class man becomes a dangerous one at the end.

On June 19, 2022, a television anime series adaptation was announced. Tezuka Productions produced the series and Takashi Kamei directed it. The scripts were written by Kohei Kiryasu and Masatsune Nguchi designed the characters. Music was composed by Kenji Kawai. The series will premiere April 2023. Crunchyroll licensed this series in Asia.

Manga
My Home Hero was written by Naoki Yamakawa, and illustrated by Masashi Asaki. It appeared in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine on May 29, 2017. The series was set to reach its climax in February 2021. Kodansha collected the chapters into individual tankobon volumes. On September 6, 2017, the first volume was published. Nineteen volumes were released as of January 6, 2023.
Q. Is My Home Hero over?
A. Current work is underway on the manga for My Home Hero. As of February 2022, there were 17 volumes. The manga entered its final part and was able to skip a few chapters after the conclusion of the second. Although the manga is at its climax, it still has much to do. The manga may not end in 2023 or 2024, which allows enough time for the anime adaptation to keep true to the source. The anime adaptation was announced in September 2022, and the first episode of the apparently first season premiered in April 2023. There will likely be more seasons to the anime adaptation.
