Power Book III: Raising Kanan What would it be about?
They captured the spirit of the early Nineties, from the clothes and hairstyles to the music and autos, the vernacular and slang, and everything else. That was spectacular. The problem with period pieces is that the story must be very good or with a strong character or essential person that the viewer really cares about. If it isn’t, no one wants to keep witnessing some back-in-time period simply for the sake of it.
Because of this, I’m unsure if we should see the specifics of Kanan and Jukebox’s childhood, provided that we already understand how their lives turned out and that neither of them has any redeemable traits in the first iteration of Power Book III. Simply put, they weren’t sympathetic characters in the first season of Power Book III, which is why I’ve no interest in watching their prequel.
Kanan is accountable for the creation of both probably the most reviled character in the annals of television historical past, Tariq, and the character on Power, who is thought to be the show’s fan favorite, Ghost. But what Kanan did to that boy psychologically was the direct reason for that knucklehead boy getting his sister killed and murdering his dad. Sure, Tariq was going to feel some kind of way about Ghost leaving home for Angie, but what Kanan did to that boy psychologically was the direct reason for that. Therefore, the answer isn’t no, and I don’t want to watch a show centered on Kanan!

Power Book III: Raising Kanan Cast Who’s back for season 2?
Much of the central cast from the first season are back, including Mekai Curtis as Kanan Stark and Patina Miller as his mother Raquel Thomas.
However, there are some changes – Hailey Kilgore is not expected back after her character, LaVerne ‘Jukebox’ Ganner, died in season 1, and Antonio Ortiz’s character Shawn is expected to have a more central function this season.
