Adult Swim announced the release date for Smiling Friends Season 2 by Zach Hadel and Michael Cusack. As part of April Fool’s Day content series, the Australian-American adult animated TV show was dropped in 2020. It became a popular show thanks to its popularity. The production company ordered a second season! It was not what the creators had hoped for!

Smiling Friends Season 1 Recap
A princess from the nearby Enchanted Forest needs help smiling for portraits. Pim and Charlie agree to this, but Mip, a forest dweller who looks a lot like a hobbit, distracts them. Pim accidentally kills Mip because of Charlie’s many quests, despite initially not being interested in them.
Charlie and Mip steal the box Mip meant to give to the princess in his memory. However, the princess reveals that Mip was actually her stalker. She throws the bomb out the window to stop it from detonating, killing all of them. When she hears about Mip’s death, the princess beams. Charlie returns to the office after Mip has left. He experiences an allergic reaction to a potion that he had been given while on a quest. It was supposed to help with headaches.
Frowning Friends!
The “Frowning Friends”, a rival business, is established across the street. It’s run by Grim and Gnarly who look very similar. They are extremely successful in spreading doom. The reputation of the Smiling Friends is damaged when Grim and Gnarly begin to make the town miserable. Pim and Charlie attempt to rectify the situation but are unsuccessful. As the company’s profits drop, the boss experiences a psychotic breakdown. Grim is forced to make an attempt on his life by the boss. He then discredits his nihilistic worldview and leads to the dissolution of the Frowning Friends. The Boss manages to get Grim and Gnarly smiling for the first time, and then he passes the “Renaissancemen” on horses.

Christmas Eve
Pim and Charlie are given the task of finding a Christmas tree by Christmas Eve. They argue until Charlie falls from the Christmas tree and is gruesomely killed by him for his negative attitude. Satan is in a depressive episode, and he wakes up to find Hell frozen over. Charlie arrives at Satan’s castle and makes a deal with him: If he can make Satan smile, then he will return Charlie to Earth. God (Gilbert Gottfried), saves Charlie. He reveals that this entire ordeal was a test. Satan (God) then realizes that torturing Charlie gives him pleasure, and attempts to renege on their agreement. God sends Charlie nude back to Earth during Charlie’s funeral. An elderly Glep narrates the entire episode and tells his grandson that Christian Hell exists. He wishes everyone a happy holiday.

Smiling Friends aired on Adult Swim on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time in the United States. The title of the episode will be “The Smiling Friends Go to Brazil”.
Smiling Friends Season 2 Possible Plotlines
We follow Charlie and Pim’s journey as they try to please their clients and solve their problems. Customers are Mr. Frog and Enchantress. They make the fifth Smiley Friend, Smormu and other. Charlie died when the tree fell upon him. This was revealed in the second season. He is cast into hell, and makes efforts to encourage Satan.
If Smiling Friends returns for another season, we might find out what happens to Charlie. It is possible to gain insight into the rivalry between Smiling Friends Inc. and Boss.
