Tehran – Season 2 Episode 8 Review

Episode 8 of Tehran Season 2 begins with Milad calling Tamar to tell her the bad news. Mohammadi is coming and Tamar needs to go. Security surrounds the area.

Did Tamar escape the General’s compound in Texas?

Tamar makes her best “I’m very suspicious” impression as she avoids the eyesight of security guards. She watches as the General’s wife weeps when the news about Peyman’s passing reaches her.

This news spreads like wildfire, and Tamar returns to Milad’s home to meet Marjan. She isn’t happy. Faraz shows up in this apartment and hits out at Marjan, telling her that she must finish the job. It’s only a matter of time before they realize that everything was staged, and that Peyman’s suicide was not an accident.

Faraz’s Idea?

Faraz suggests that you use Peyman’s funeral to stop this. Mohammadi and Peyman will be left alone for a time. They can then use an underground passage to reach him and get the guy out. Brilliant.

Mossad, however, refuses to give permission and orders them to evacuate. Marjan rebels against her superiors, and informs the group that after her private call, they have been granted the green light.

What is Tamar’s plan to kill the General? Does Mossad get involved?

Faraz tells Nahid that he has a plan and invites him to join him at Peyman’s funeral. Marjan informs Tamar and gives her something to kill Mohammadi.

It is an aerosol which enters the bloodstream via the respiratory system. Tamar arrives at the funeral with this aerosol in her possession but her name is not on the list.

Faraz, who is working as security personnel, lets her go and checks her bag.

Yulia watches the villa and sees Tamar arrive. She immediately rings Marjan to get an explanation. Because she can’t get through, Yulia sends Amir to threaten Marjan & Milad who are outside.

Yulia gives Marjan the phone and tells her that she has only 15 minutes to rescue Tamar. If she doesn’t, she will run her husband’s name down and make him the most traitor in Iran.

Did Mohammadi discover the truth about Peyman’s life?

The engineers from the wreckage discovered something that looked Mossad-like in design. This is the bug that was planted in Betty. Faraz is summoned to the checkpoint outside, where Marjan waits to get in.

Faraz reluctantly allows her in. She immediately heads over for Nahid, who is inside but struggling, and Faraz agrees to let her in. Of course she is there to ensure Tamar achieves her goal. Tamar will be killed if she doesn’t.

Has The General been killed?

Vahid is kicked out of the building due to drama after nearly exposing Tamar. Marjan urges Tamar to get out and admits that Yulia hasn’t approved the operation.

Tamar is stunned and decides to take “Plan B” Nahid double-crossing Marjan spraying aerosol on Tamar’s face.

Mohammadi discovers that Marjan has been killed and is now in control of the device found in Peyman’s car. Tamar rings Peyman’s cell phone and presses the button to explode it completely, extinguishing the entire room.
