The Mentalist Season 8 Release date

American viewers were drawn to the show’s emotional story about Patrick Jane and the plot that featured a psychic solving crimes and murders. The CBS network announced in 2014 that The Mentalist would not be getting a Season 8. To reinvent the storyline, the producers moved the filming location from Sacramento to Texas. They also changed the supporting characters.

Although the release date of the seventh installment has not been announced, filming is ongoing. However, the most accurate estimate for its release dates places it somewhere in the fall, possibly September or October. The first episode of the series had been leaked as Orange Blossom Ice Cream. However, it was revealed by Jordan Harper, a show writer, that this episode will be called ‘Nothing but Blue Skies’ and will be the third episode in the seventh season. It is assumed that the first episode will focus on Jane and Lisbon’s blossoming romance and how they now have more time for their relationship.

This could prove to be more difficult than it appears, especially for Patrick Jane. He did have the privilege of work to distract him in the previous installment. Red John was eliminated in the finale of the last season. The main villain is now gone, but there is tension between Lisbon and Red John about what will happen next.

Josie Loren will play Michelle Vega as a new agent. She will be an expert on field craft and weapons, but she will also have a no-nonsense approach to everything. This goes against the unconventional methods Patrick Jane uses. Rumors abound that she could stir the pot and come between Jane and Lisbon. Monica Baccarin returns as Erika Flynn. She is definitely a threat, as she was able to manipulate both of them when trading the information she had in exchange for a pardon.
