Tower Of God RPG Game (Korean pronunciation: sinyi tap, RR: Sinui Tap) is a South Korean manhwa that was released online as a webtoon by S.I.U. Since June 2010, it has been serialized on Naver Corporation’s website Naver Webtoon. Young Com has published the individual chapters into 11 volumes, which will be available in November 2022. Line Webtoon began translating official English translations of Tower of God in July 2014.

There have been several mobile game adaptations of the series and merchandise. The web manhwa received an anime TV series adaptation by Telecom Animation Film in Japan. It first aired on Naver Series On, South Korea. It aired in Japan shortly afterward. It originally aired from April 2020 to June 2020. Crunchyroll licensed the Japanese broadcast version and simulcasted it for its streaming service. A second season was announced in August 2022.

Tower of God RPG Game Release Date

This franchise was never made into a video game before. Things will change on April 20, 2023. We don’t have much information about the Tower of God game at this time. Because of the semi-high fantasy setting, we can assume that it will be an RPG. The focus should be on character growth and gear upgrades. We are hopeful that we will soon have more information.

Tower of God: The Great Journey is casual. It offers many ways to either do nothing or to stay away to fit the needs of the players. This game works well with artificial Intelligence (AI). This allows players to tell the computer how to play the game. In return, they receive in-game resources. Core combat is similar to Counter: Side and King’s Raid. Players have no control over the movement of their characters, but they can modify their ultimate skills. The Tower of God is said to be the Tower of God. Anyone who climbs it can fulfill all his desires. Rachel decides, against the wishes of Bam, to climb the Tower. Review

The scenario is still very much like daisies. It also has characters that are as boring as they are flat. Over the episodes, I hoped that they would rise just like their ascent into a tower. But it never does. Everything seems very overflying. It is clear that the universe lacks consistency. The past of characters doesn’t manage to keep us interested enough for a penny or their quest. Although they are numerous, the quality does not always reflect their number. Our heroes Bam and Rachel are the most irritating, with their charismatic charm. I was not connected to the suspense aspect. There is certainly a creative element to the imagined trials. However, history has not tested me so it is hard to feel tension. Because the magical side doesn’t really have a limit, it is difficult to understand why certain characters are strong or weak, and why one can use magic differently than another. In a story about a tournament, I felt that this was an important element.

Development

Author S.I.U. majored in visual art education at a university level before being conscripted to the South Korean army. S.I.U. began drawing cartoons on the advice of an army senior. S.I.U. drew “ten volumes” of practice cartoons during this time that formed the basis of the Tower of God comic he later created for the Internet. S.I.U. has already planned major characters and events, sometimes for more than 8 years. He often shares additional information about the Tower of God universe via his blog post after each chapter is published.

Anime

In August 2019, a television series adaptation of anime was announced at Seoul Comic-Con. The series, titled Kami no To (Shen Zhi Ta-Tower of God-), began simultaneously releasing in Japan, South Korea and the United States in April 2020. The series was produced by Telecom Animation Film with Aniplex subsidiary Rialto Entertainment handling Japanese production and Sola Entertainment managing production. This anime series was first aired in South Korea by Telecom Animation Film on April 1, 2020. It was also broadcast on Naver Series On and Aniplus. It aired on Japanese television from April 2, 2020 to June 24, 2020. Takashi Sano directed the series with Hirokazu Hansai serving as assistant director. Erika Yoshida was responsible for series composition. Masashi Kudo, Miho Tanino, and Kevin Penkin were the series’ character designers. The soundtrack was composed by Kevin Penkin. Korean group Stray Kids performed “Top”, the closing theme song, “Slump” in Japanese and English for their respective language dubs. The series aired 13 episodes.
Crunchyroll streamed the Japanese version of the series under its “Crunchyroll originals” title. Viz Media licensed the series for North American home video distribution. The series was released on Blu-ray January 18, 2022.
Crunchyroll revealed that a second season was on the horizon in August 2022 during Crunchyroll Expo’s industry panel.

Principal characters

Bam (hangeul: seumul; RR: Bam; litt. “Night”)

Bam is the main character in the series. He lived in an isolated cave, knowing nothing about the world before he entered the Tower. He met Rachel, a young girl. She settled down with him in the cave and allowed him to climb the Tower. She was the one who taught Bam all he knew, even writing and reading. She forbids Bam from climbing the Tower to view the stars. But he decides to follow her. Although Bam may ignore many aspects of life, including the Tower at first, he soon learns to love and make friends. His apparent fragility and naivety will allow people to want to protect him. Bam is an “Irregular”, although he wasn’t chosen to climb the Tower, he did so forcefully.

Rachel (hangeul: rahel; RR: Rahel)

Rachel, a young girl, decided to climb The Tower in order to fulfill her dream of seeing the stars from the top. She discovered Bam in her cave, and he learned everything. She leaves him to climb the Tower. She is the reason Bam climbs the Tower.

Khun Aguero Agnes (hangeul : kun agero ageuniseu ; RR : Kun Agero Ageuniseu)

Khun Aguero Agnes has been a regular. He is extremely smart and pragmatic. Because of the loss of his family, he finds himself on the Tower’s first floor and is determined to get back his place. He meets Bam at the first event, and he allies himself with him. Although he initially sees him as a manipulator, he will soon change his mind to help him.

Rak Wraithraiser (hangeul : rakeu rekeureisyeo ; RR : Rakeu Rekeuleisyeo)

Rak Wraithraiser, which is non-human looking, is a hybrid between a giant Crocodile and a Tyrannosaurus. He appears to have only come to the Tower to hunt “prey” worthy and so seeks out strong opponents. He will be forced to cooperate with Bam, Khun and other trials. They will eventually become his allies and he will respect them.
