Before Willow Season 2

Before Willow Season 2

Willow is a mess, and it’s a perfect example of how not to write fantasy. It’s impossible to tell the difference if you swap characters and cast members from Willow, Rings of Power, and The Witcher: Blood Origin. Willow is plagued by flaws in every aspect of its production, including lackluster dialogue and accents, as well as a mediocre storyline, and an awful protagonist in Princess Kit.

Twenty years have passed since the defeat of Bavmorda, the story begins. Madmartigan has been defeated, but there is a new threat to this realm in the form of The Crone. Our characters are thrown into the deep end. This is mainly because Prince Airk, who goes off to fight without protection, is captured by The Crone’s minions. They take him to a dangerous secret city.

Is the Queen sending a large force of elite fighters to help her son? Is she going to launch a major offensive against these evil forces? No! Instead, she sends her inexperienced adventurers, which include Kit, her daughter and princess to this realm. Graydon is also included. An oaf named Boorman joins them, as well as Jade, an inexperienced knight-in-training, Elora, and eventually Willow Ufgood, who are both serving girls.

The group moves from one point to the next, and gets into trouble when the “monster-of-the week” format becomes dominant. The story is meant to be one of urgency, and there’s not much of it throughout the entire run-time. The characters often forget their fellows and, in Kit’s case, she even offers to kill her friends so that she can escape and save herself. The problem with this lack of urgency is the tone, which often veers into comedy territory.

Willow Season 1 Review

Willow Season 1 Review

Although I understand that this is meant to be a family adventure, comedy can ruin the drama (as per Marvel Phase 4 standards). The jokes are forced into the screenplay for the sake of making the characters laugh, rather than creating a memorable and likable story.

This is because Princess Kit is the worst character in this series. She is obnoxious and self-entitled, terrible, and extremely selfish. She throws fits because she isn’t the most important person in the group and refuses to continue the mission. Another time, she ridicules her husband-to-be in the room alongside a rival Kingdom. This almost caused a massive war to break out.

Although one could argue that she does soften slightly towards the end, it is not clear that the redemptive story arc holds any weight here. One needs to have redeemable traits to grow into, and Kit doesn’t have them.

The cast is a mixture of forgettable or unlikable characters. Their dialogue ranges from modern-day California for the children to medieval English for the adults. It breaks immersion completely, and this is before we even get to the illogical plot beats or pointless subplots which go nowhere.

Willow is an awful series. While there are some people who will enjoy it, this series is not for everyone. It’s best to just let it run while you scroll through your social media feed and not pay much attention. While there is nothing wrong with this, anyone who wants a rich narrative, engaging worldbuilding, and a cast of charming characters will struggle to find it here. This is a disaster and even worse than CW quality.

What will Willow’s group do?

What will Willow's group do?

Graydon, along with the others, decides to also jump down the waterfall and head inside the city. Graydon tries to use his magic to unlock the door, but it fails. The sandstorm rages through Boorman’s city and turns him into stone.

Kit and Elora finally take a bold step forward and pass through the portal that the Crone has to find themselves in a paradisiac realm where Kit’s mother is holding them. Elora admits that it was wrong for her to deny Kit freedom. Airk tries to persuade Elora to see the darker side by offering her a glass of yellow water.

Does Madmartigan return?

Does Madmartigan return?

The landscape suddenly changes when Madmartigan’s voice breaks through. He says he was always with Kit, and that leaving was the hardest thing he has ever done. He says that love is a sacrifice, and you have to be willing to give up what you desire for the things you believe in. This is the only way Elora can be saved. Kit claims he’s better than him and tells Elora that she’s the shield he needs to protect Elora.

Kit continues her vision and finds Elora gone, the Crone in her place. She claims that the Great Awakening is now underway. Kit is now a stone!

Then we cut to Elora & Airk marrying with the Crone as witness. Elora is told by the Crone that this act, which includes the sacred kiss to bind them together, saves everything. Elora decides not to marry Airk just before she kisses him and says that she isn’t “really into” him anymore. Willow suddenly appears and uses his magic to break the vision and liberate everyone from stone.

What happens in a big fight?

What happens in a big fight?

Elora and Crone get into a big fight between their minions and our large group. Graydon, however, gets involved and tries to use his magic. However, despite all the passion and anger she put into the spells, Graydon destroys his wand, and Graydon is thrown deep into a world that looks like Mordor. He’s supposed to be dead, but we should not believe that.

Elora is angry and doesn’t need a wand anymore. She can use her hands to conjure spells… somehow. Elora enters the courtyard to confront the Crone. They both use their hands to cast spells and she is forced to leave. Was there ever a way to use wands? Why can’t Willow use his hands instead? Airk is involved in this, and Kit attempts to convince Airk that he should return to the light side. Jade and Kit start fighting against him when he claims to have the title of King.

How can Elora save the day!

How can Elora save the day!

Willow sends Elora some encouragement words telepathically. She uses her willpower to defeat the Crone and beats her. Airk appears and starts kissing the Crone, which seems to transfer the power to him.

Jade is using the Lux on Kit to give her full armor. Jade is the stronger fighter, and Jade is far more skilled at using these skills. Kit serves instead as the shield and attacks her brother. They fight and Kit wins the fight. Kit is able to talk Airk into a compromise, promising to never leave him again, and waking him up again.

Willow Season Ending Explained

Willow Season Ending Explained

Graydon’s death has made it clear that the battle is not over for the other fighters. Graydon is still alive and the Wyrm will continue to mass their forces. They seem to have saved the day as the others leave. Have they?

Graydon, it turns out, is still alive. He wakes up on the battlefield with the same vision Willow has seen all season. Elora is also there, and she reveals that this marks the dawn of the next age. She is her age. She needs someone to support her and be beside her as she leads the world to the light. Graydon should be that guy. The episode is over with a large army supporting her, including an Eborsisk.

Willow Season 2: The Plot

Willow Season 2: The Plot

It often happens that children are able to do a lot for the well-being and well-being of the entire world. Although they may not be happy with the responsibility that they have, their royal heritage obliges. Kit is not only a princess but also saves her twin brother. Her company was, naturally, a strange one. Even a knight is part of the group, though he was not very experienced and still a trainee. He didn’t save any beautiful ladies, nor did he throw anyone off his horse.

Everyone treats him with some prejudice, and there is also the dwarf mage. A cook and a criminal were granted freedom to take part in the “royal campaigns”. But, most importantly, Sorsha stands out among their backgrounds – a rebellious, trained, warrior girl. All of them have to get along.

Willow season 2 cast speculation.

Willow season 2 cast speculation.

The good news is that Willow season 2 will feature all your favorite characters.

The Crone (Jane Carr), and Lili (Rosabell Laurenti Sells) are the only characters we don’t anticipate seeing back. They were both dispatched at the end.

Yes, Tony Revolori’s Prince Graydon still lives. Graydon is not enjoying a life of luxury at the moment. He’s still trapped in the Wyrm’s clutches. If it happens, Graydon will be the Harbinger for the Wyrm in Willow Season 2.

Now, let’s look at the cast for season 2.

  • Ruby Cruz is Princess Kit Tanthalos
  • Ellie Bamber is Elora Danan
  • Dempsey Brryk is Prince Airk
  • Jade by Erin Kellyman
  • Tony Revolori is Prince Graydon
  • Amar Chadha–Patel is Thraxus Boorman
  • Warwick Davis is Willow Ufgood
  • Joanne Whalley is Queen Sorsha
  • Kevin Pollak is Rool
  • Christian Slater is Allagash
  • Annabelle Davis is Mim

However, you should highlight Mims. Why? We are expecting more from her next season, Kasdan stating that he was “very eager” to spend more time with Mims in season 2.

Willow season 2 story

Willow season 2 story

It’s all about love.

Elora declared that Airk was safe from the Wyrm’s grasps in the Willow finale. We are assuming that Graydon will need the same power of love to save him. It may prove more difficult to save Graydon if Elora or Airk are present in season 2. While some people believe that it will happen, others I have spoken to believe Airk will not be as relevant to the story.

Elora seems not to be keen to get back to Airk at the moment.

The big thread that links the two seasons is not about Graydon’s death, but rather Kit’s duty to Elora.

It is also possible that we will see Willow’s desire to continue his quest for power without his staff, which was sacrificed for his friends’ good.
