You Season 5 Release Date: Everything You Need To Know

You Season 5 Trailer, Cast, Spoilers, and News. While Joe Goldberg may be a new name in a new country, he is back to his old tricks on season 4 of Netflix’s.
The latest season follows Joe (Penn Badgley), as he travels across the pond to start a new life in London, and transforms into Professor Jonathan Moore. Part 1 was released on February 9, and attempted to convince us that Joe had (mostly), stopped murdering people. But Part 2, which premiered March 9, took an unexpected turn and showed that Joe is still as evil as he was when we first met him in Brooklyn.
The final scene in You season 4 sees Joe back in New York City. You can watch more of Joe’s Netflix hits by clicking here. We have everything we know so far about Season 5, including when it will air.
After many twists, Season 4 concludes with You a shocking finale that makes Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) an undisputed villain. Joe has come to terms with his darkest desires, and most importantly his violent needs thanks to Rhys (Ed Speleers).
Before You Season 5

This realization may lead Joe to risk his life to save the lives of those around him. Season 4’s dark finale shows how Joe has come to embrace his bloody nature. This makes Joe even more dangerous than he was before. Episode 10, “The Death of Jonathan Moore” ends Joe’s English identity and he is reborn as an evil, cold-blooded killer.
The Final Murder: You season 4

Overdose renders Joe’s suicide plans inexplicable. To make his final romantic sacrifice, he wanted to kill himself in front of his ex-lover. Joe is now feeling lost, even though Marienne has passed away. Rhys tells Joe that he has to dispose of the body by chopping it up, but Joe knows Marienne would rather her daughter Juliette (Dallas Skye) to have closure. Joe then takes Marienne’s corpse to a bench where she will be identified as a junkie. Although it is a terrible image to have for Juliette of her mother, it’s better than having to spend the rest of her life wondering about what happened.
Joe returns to his flat and begins to write a suicide letter, determined to end his life despite Rhys’ objections. The body of Rhys Montrose, the real person behind the suicide note, was also found in the woods. It seems that Joe is being robbed by Tom Lockwood (Greg Kinnear). This is enough reason for Rhys not to kill Lockwood. Joe only believes Lockwood after Kate (Charlotte Ritchie) texts him. Joe discovers his girlfriend in chaos at Kate’s apartment. He is still trying to accept the harsh reality that her father controls every aspect of her life. Joe is driven to murder one last time by Lockwood’s treachery and Kate’s distress.
Joe makes arrangements to meet Lockwood at his hangar using Kate’s cell phone. Joe tied Lockwood to a chair after he had been knocked down by chloroform. Joe uses handcuffs from a sex shop to not mark Lockwood’s skin in order to fake his suicide. Joe must kill quickly because a bodyguard interrupts his private meeting with Lockwood.
Joe is an expert at improvisation, and the death of the bodyguard ruins the suicide story. Joe kills Lockwood, hacks into Lockwood’s phone and transfers millions to another account that supposedly belongs to the bodyguard. He then leaves Lockwood and hides the other body. Police immediately accept the story that Lockwood was tortured by his bodyguard to make money, but he accidentally went too far. The police have started a wild goose chase in an attempt to find Joe’s victim and nobody will stop them.
The Perfect Couple : You Season 4

Rhys enjoys the experience of hunting with his alter. Joe, however, is determined to kill him. The revelations made by Lockwood are even more clear when the billionaire pointed out that Joe is a control freak who will do anything to protect Kate from harm. Joe pushes Rhys to the side and throws himself off a bridge, even though they worked together to kill Lockwood.
Joe experiences a sudden change of heart while drowning. He realizes that he should not have fled, and his erotomania kicks into high gear. He should have done all he could to make sure his relationship with Kate was successful. This is a repeat of the same reasoning Joe used many times before. It always leads to the death of his partners. Joe still lives to prevent him from inflicting more harm on innocent people. This would be the fitting end for the serial killer. Joe is saved by fate and given the tools to defeat new threats.
Joe wakes up in hospital and discovers that Kate is waiting for his arrival. Officers patrolling the area looking for suicide victims rescued him. Joe, eager to establish a trusting relationship, confessed to killing Rhys Montrose. Kate knows Joe murdered Rhys Montrose for her father, and she tells her boyfriend that she used family money to conceal the evidence linking Joe with the crime. Kate says that she can also do horrible things like hide the deaths of children for profit.
She’s open to a new type of relationship with Joe where they can keep each other under control and push each other to become better people. Joe also revealed his true identity. Joe is now a serial killer unchained, aware of his dark deeds and equipped with all the resources in the world to cover his tracks. Joe and Kate are now the perfect pair, ready to destroy anyone in their path.
Nadia was killed by curiosity

Nadia (Amy Leigh Hickman) and Edward (Brad Alexander), after their fight at the station, make peace and decide that they will continue their relationship. Nadia also exposes the truth about Joe, and Edward agrees to assist in bringing down the serial killer. Edward arrives on the scene and Joe had already taken Marienne’s glass cage. Marienne’s troubles are not over, however, Nadia exposes the dangerous plan they set in motion. Nadia altered Marienne’s contacts so she could reply to Joe.
Marienne feigned her despair, and even her suicide. Nadia substituted the painkillers for drugs that slowed Marienne’s heartbeat and tricked Joe into taking her from her cage. Nadia finally followed Joe to revive Marienne and sent her safely and soundly to Paris where she is now reunited with Juliette. Joe is still a threat and Nadia wants him to be taken down.
Edward makes use of his father’s media tycoon status to obtain information about Rhys Montrose, the Eat-the-Rich killer and to help build a case against Joe. They also discuss possible evidence that could prove Joe’s crimes. They decide to raid Joe’s apartment to search for trophies after realizing Joe is obsessed.
Nadia discovers Joe’s trophies but Edward is not there when she leaves the apartment. Joe accompanies Nadia and snatches her phone. He also deletes all incriminating photographs. Joe informs Nadia that Nadia is a bright student, and that he expects her to discover the truth. Nadia is also told by Joe that he doesn’t want to kill Nadia and that he’s eager to see her next steps. Edward, however, is dead with his neck cut open. Joe can also blame Nadia for the murder of Rhys by forcing her to get a knife.
Edward is also able to use Kate’s resources to provide all the evidence the police need in order for Rhys’ death to be pinned on Joe. This would explain Nadia’s decision not only to murder her boyfriend, but also the reason Joe used Kate’s resources. Joe was always a monster. But now that he has money, and is accepting his dark side, it’s impossible to stop him.
You Season 4 Ending Explained
Joe uses Kate’s fortune as a way to clear his name and returns to New York. His life story is one of endurance and survival. He and Kate want to make a difference in the world. When he looks into his reflection, he finds that Rhys is still there. Joe is now a united person again, but he has reabsorbed Rhys’ evil ways. It will be difficult to stop Joe and Kate no matter what happens next.
Nadia is sent to prison without ever speaking a word about Joe. She is certain that no one will believe her so she saves her strength to fight another day. Lady Phoebe moves to Thailand and is a teacher there. She chooses to do something worthwhile with her life.
The rest of Oxford club is a group of self-absorbed, spoiled brats. Marienne watches the news about Joe returning to New York and hopes never to meet the killer again. Every story has a happy end. Some happy endings can also bring down everyone else. You will hopefully be renewed for a fifth series, where Netflix will hopefully tie all loose ends.
Joe embraces his dark side. Joe kills Kate’s father and decides to end his own life, realizing that Rhys is a part of him. Joe may be able to justify killing Paco’s abusive stepdad (Luca Padovan), but he cannot justify the things he did to the women in the family. Joe is worried that Kate will end up looking like Love and Beck and decides to end Joe’s life by jumping off a bridge with his shadow self.
But not so fast. Joe’s embrace before he leaps into the river means this dark side is now Joe’s only side, and it’s working at its full potential. Gamble says, “I see him lying to Kate at that moment. He’s already the Joe who tells the woman in the moment to keep it going.”
After Season 4, Joe and Kate return to New York City. Kate uses the vast resources of her family to help Joe, and his son Henry, get their old lives back. Joe is keen to purchase a bookstore. “We liked the idea that he was in exile, and he has been to many different places. Gamble says that he assumed a completely different identity in Season 4.”

Badgley is looking forward to becoming a fully integrated Joe. Badgley is curious if his inner monologue can evolve. “What does it look like for him to accept himself?”

You Season 5 Release Date
Netflix has not yet announced what they will do with TV series “You”. The last episode schedule shows that You 5th season will likely be released on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
You is a huge success with viewers and has had an enormous influence on pop culture. It is one of the most popular series on Netflix. It seems unlikely that Netflix would cancel the show, despite the fact that it has a huge fan base. We’ll keep you updated here, even though we haven’t yet confirmed the future of the show.
Will You season 5 become the last renewal of the show?
Joe Goldberg is now back in New York City, and there are so many problems he could find himself in if the series was renewed for a fifth season. Although Netflix has not confirmed the series’ return, Penn Badgley spoke out about his views on the matter. The actor told Indie Wire that he knew the creators of the show had in mind the next season.
The Netflix star said, “And then it’ll probably be a spectacular resolution because I feel like something is in development by the end of this season.” Badgley says that a final season is more than what viewers want. It’s something they “need”. Badgley stated that it is not what viewers want, but a “need” for the final season.
The You actor believes that the streamer could leave it “off where it is now,” but he feels that viewers also need to see Joe reach a conclusion, and that he would like that to happen in the fifth and final season. Badgley said, “I believe we have one more in us.” “But, of course I don’t know.”
What’s the story in You season 5, Episode 5?
Season 4 ends with Joe escaping with his crimes while still being in a relationship with Kate. Joe’s past actions are covered up by Kate, which is not only amazing but also very helpful. He claimed that he was forced to fake his death after an abusive relationship with Love. However, it is not clear how much Joe’s past Kate knows.
In an episode of PodCrushed, Penn’s cohost Nava Kavelin discusses Joe’s inspiration by Rhys Montrose season 4. Penn then asks Nava: “Is Joe gonna race for political office in season 5?” Penn confirms Nava’s theory and responds, “Yeah…I cannot say.” It’s interesting and tracks, but I don’t know.
Joe going into politics? It sounds messy. It’s possible that Joe will be exposed by Nadia, Marienne, and Ellie.
You author Caroline Kepnes will also release a new novel, For You and Only You on April 25, 2023. So there is a possibility that season 5 could draw inspiration from this.

You Season 5 Cast

You season four introduced a new cast to Joe in London. This was in addition to the Love and Ryan of season three. It feels like season four has ended for many of the new characters. Lady Phoebe (Tilly Keeper) has found a new calling in Asia, and Nadia (Amy Leigh Hickman), is currently in jail. So it’s unlikely that either of them will be back. We could see Nadia hunting Joe down and taking revenge.
It seems that Amy-Leigh Hickman wants to reprise her role of Nadia. She told Digital Spy that she would “love to” return to the show for season five.
She stated that she would love to play her again and come back.
Tati Gabrielle plays Marienne. She makes an appearance in season 4. Season five could see her back. However, given the way things ended with Marienne it is unlikely that she will ever want to live within 10 miles of Joe.
We’d love to see Kate (Charlotte Ritchie), return to Joe’s side as his girlfriend if season five happens. They now live in New York.
You would know by now that You’s cast changes in each season. This question is often asked by YOU under YOU Season 5 Cast according to YOU Season 5 Release Date. It also depends on whether or not he survives. If they do survive, then the same characters from the previous season will appear in the next. According to information, season five could have the following characters:
- Aidan Cheng – Simon
- Stephen Hagen – Malcolm
- Ben Wiggins – Roald Walker-Burton
- Gemma – Eve Austin
- Ozioma Venu – Blessing
- Lucas Gage – Adam Pratt
- Tilly Keeper – Lady Phoebe
- Amy-Leigh Hickman – Nadia
- Ed Speleers – Rhys Montrose
- Nikki Lynn – Sophie
- Penn Badgley – Joe Goldberg
- Tati Gabriel – Marianne Bellamy
- Charlotte Richie – Kate
