Kiichi Miyazawa, also known as Kibo, is a high school student in the city of Kobe. He is the future heir to the 15th generation Nadashinkageryu. This is a famous, complete and immeasurably effective fighting style that is both esoteric, hermetic, and highly regarded. He loves to fight very talented fighters and has to double his efforts to win. He also enjoys learning from every training session and fight.

As he progresses, he will encounter opponents who are stronger but also more different than him. Each one of them also wants to succeed and be worthy of the Nadashinkageryu.

18. Rainbow: Nisha Rokubo no Shichinin

Rainbow is the story of seven teenage boys: Anchan (Mario, Heitai), Kyabetsu, Suppon, Jo, and Baremoto. They are found in the same cell in Shonan’s reformatory in the first manga. They quickly form bonds of friendship and they soon face harsh prison conditions.

Ishihara, a vicious guard, and Dr. Sasaki try to eliminate Anchan to stop him from revealing the drama in the prison to the outside. The six boys will rescue Anchan from this hell ten days before his release. The manga’s second section shows the heroes serving their sentences and finding themselves on their own in Japan, which is still recovering from the Second World War.

Each story will focus on a specific character. Each misadventure is an opportunity to demonstrate the almost brotherly bond between the protagonists, and will allow them all to move closer to their dreams.

17. Nozomi Witches

Although the title “Nozomi Witches” seems a bit odd, it’s a great and entertaining boxing anime. Nozomi Witches is the story of Ryoutaro, a young Japanese student who finds out that his neighbor is an enchanting girl called Nozomi.

He will also need to have more than his gift, as he will face more obstacles as the series progresses. Nozomi Witches anime is a nostalgic tale that invokes nostalgia through its unique art style and romantic subtext to the martial arts.

16. Rokudenashi Blues

Taison Maeda is a disreputable student at Teiken High Institute who dreams of becoming world champion boxer. The manga follows Maeda and his friends as they become the strongest and most well-known fighters at all three of Tokyo’s high schools.

15. B.B.

Ryo Takagi was leaving a club where his trumpet was being played one night when he was attacked by a biker gang. The fight ends in a street brawl that causes a traffic accident. Ryo gives up his music career to join underground boxing, where he struggles with his “burning blood” as well as the rage that quickly overwhelms him.

They discover they share more than just a friendship as they work together. They have to be disciplined while trying to excel in their respective fields. One Pound Gospel was created by Rumiko Takahashi (who also made Inuyasha), and shares many similarities. It makes the viewer feel extremely satisfied while they watch it.

12. Baki the Grappler

Baki was raised by Emi Akezawa, his obsessive and rich mother. She also funds his training so that he can become a great fighter, like his father. Baki is overcome by traditional martial arts training. He plans to follow his father’s footsteps, meeting great adversaries along the way.

Baki occasionally fights his father, but is often defeated by him. He then travels all over the globe to continue his training. Baki crosses paths two years later with an underground fighting group where he fights against some of the best fighters in all forms of martial arts. He learns the most about martial arts from this place.

11. Ring Ni Kakero

Ring ni Kakero is a boxing anime which teaches us about the importance of perseverance and the value of family. This film follows the lives of two siblings who strive to fulfill their dying father’s wish to become a boxing champion.

The brother and sister work together to overcome obstacles by acting as coaches. Then, they compete in competitions against various opponents to realize their dreams. They also meet a worthy competitor who pushes them to improve their game and grow in strength. Ring ni Kakero is the inspiring boxing story we all love. It has a relatable cast and is a great story.

10 . Hono no Tenkosei

Noboru Takizawa, the protagonist, is transferred to Jakuniku Gakuen school where disputes can be resolved through sports or wrestling. The headmaster requests that he arrive an hour early and he confronts him. Koichi Jenouchi is the school attendant who decides to punish the student. Yukari, Takizawa’s classmate, saves him.

His introduction to the class begins with a “competition against Saburo Ibuki” for the right to sit at the back. There is a fight after class between Koichi Zenouchi, a school attendant, and Saburo Ibuki for Yukari’s affections. Yukari falls in love with Takizawa. He intervenes in the fight and Ibuki wins. Takizawa and Zenouchi were defeated first. Takizawa wins the fight after he has lost.

09. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

The story revolves around the Joestar bloodline. This powerful British family is destined to fight evil supernatural forces using acquired power. It spans several generations and each part uses a descendant to be the protagonist.

Parts 1 through 6 follow a linear, continuous story. Parts 7 and 8 are set in an alternate universe. The title of the work is called “JoJo”. It is a play on words that consists of the names of the protagonists in each part. This can be abbreviated to “Jojo” or used as a nickname.

08. Burning Blood

Burning Blood is a brief but memorable boxing manga and anime that has both the exciting action and entertaining drama that we love about martial arts anime.

It is the story of Ryo, a trumpet player who slowly grows in popularity with his band. He loses a brawl with a gang member and is later compared to his opponent.

07. Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple

Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple is a well-known martial arts anime for the younger generation. It’s also a source of endless entertainment through every episode. It is about a young, fragile boy named Kenichi who is bullied because he cannot defend himself.

He meets a strong girl by chance and tries to improve his life. She points him to her grandfather’s dojo, and tells him that he will change if he can survive the rigorous training.

He is a fighter with renewed energy and a fighting spirit. A dangerous gang is lurking around every corner, threatening his peace of mind and the lives of his loved ones. Kenichi: The most powerful disciple retains its comic tone, but gives dramatic moments the attention they deserve. Shounen lovers will enjoy both its manga and boxing anime.

06. Sakigake!! Otokojuku

Heihachi Edajima is the principal genius of the private school. He was a World War II hero. It trains its students in how to contribute to the economy, politics, and industry of Japan and around the globe.

05. Levius

Levius, an alternate future boxing anime, is set in a postwar 19th century steampunk world where Metal Boxing reigns supreme. It’s made up of cybernetically modified fighters who use their machine parts to gain the upper hand and achieve fame and glory. Levius, an upcoming boxer who has a mechanical arm, is the main character. Levius is determined to fight the best and will do anything to win the battle against his idol, even if he is defeated by an unknown newcomer.

04. Megalo Box

Megalo Box is not only one of the greatest boxing anime ever made, but it’s also one of the most original and unique anime without any manga. This documentary follows Junk Dog’s life as a professional boxer who fights his opponents to make money.

He is full of potential, but the illegal nature and violence of the fights force him to make sacrifices to ensure his survival. After meeting the boxing champion, his whole perspective shifts as he decides that he will put in the effort to make it to the top.

Megalo Box boxing is truly unique because we see fighters enhancing with mechanical parts and abilities that give them an advantage against their opponents. Megalo Box stands out from all other boxing anime with its intense action and heavy emotions.

03. Kengan Ashura

In Japan, there has been an arena for fighters since the Edo era. Entrepreneurs and wealthy traders have hired them to fight in bare-knuckle bouts where the winner can rule the market. These fights are still held in secret between great entrepreneurs all over the globe, even today.

Oma Tokita, a fighter with a mysterious history, accidentally crosses over with Kazuo Yamashita’s fate. A middle-aged man with no backbone, fearful, and submissive, Nogi is Oma Tokita’s employee, a smart and untrustworthy businessman.

02. Ashita no Joe

Joe Yabuki is the protagonist. He is a troubled young man who spent his entire life in state orphanages. Joe wanders from one place to the next like a stray dog after he escapes to Tokyo. He meets Danpei Tange in the slums. A former boxer, Danpei Tange is now a retired boxing coach. Joe has been reduced to a drunken bum.

It is the periphery, a place of psychological and social exclusion, that serves as the supporting protagonist at the beginning of this story. This area was poor and disadvantaged in the immediate postwar period. (the so-called Japanese mafia, the yakuza) and juveniles.

At their first encounter, Joe and Danpei, the main characters, end up fighting for no reason. After a few punches, Joe, an ex-boxer, suddenly wakes up and realizes the talent of the young man.

Then, he begins to follow his lead and keeps repeating his offer: to be trained under him and become an amateur boxer. Joe doesn’t want the truth at first. He doesn’t even consider a proposition that seems strange, made by an old drunken man.

Hajime Ni Ippo is possibly the most popular boxing anime of all time. This anime follows Ippo Makunouchi as he journeys from shy, bullied high school student into an aspiring Japanese featherweight champion.

Ippo receives a serious beating and is then taken in by Mamoru Tamura. This is where his boxing skills are discovered. This anime will leave you wondering if Ippo can even win against Rocky Balboa.
