Best Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Villains: Our 30 +

Who are the best villains in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure? As charismatic as the main characters, the antagonists of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure franchise have offered us great moments in their arcs, whether through their actions or their attitude.
With the recent release of the next portion of Stone Ocean, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fans get to see even more villains and their horrifying Stand powers brought to life onscreen, and eagerly await the introduction of even more in the upcoming batches of episodes.
As reckless, powerful, and over-the-top as the heroes of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure are, which make them beloved by fans, the many villains of the long-running series are possibly even more popular for much the same reasons.
Top JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Villains

For this list, we base it on the popularity, the charisma, and the power of the characters, and also on my personal opinion. You might not agree with the list. This list does not only include the antagonists of the series but also the secondary characters.
31. J. Geil

J. Geil, one of many assassins sent by Dio Brando in order to destroy the Star Crusaders during JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure season 3, has a direct connection with the heroes. It’s a dark story: Jean Pierre Polnareff was attacked and his sister killed by him. He is a central character in the story, making him more than a minor villain. This also makes Polnareff’s personal interest in him.
J. Geil stands out because of two key characteristics. His distinctive physiology is the first, with two right hands. His Stand, Hanged Man, a powerful, light-based power that allows him to jump from one reflective surface onto another, is the second. J. Geil makes wicked use of his abilities and almost kills Polnareff. He is defeated by the quick thinking and manipulation of his Stand by Noriaki Kakyoin. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Fans will never forget the sinister impression he left.
30. Daniel J. D’Arby

Kenny Rogers stated that you must know when to hold ’em or when to fold ’em. He probably didn’t mean gambling your entire soul. Daniel J. is the one to face when it comes down to dealing with. These rules are good for anyone, but D’Arby is the most dangerous. He’s one of Dio’s assassins and he’s sent to defeat Jotaro Kujo. Osiris’s Stand allows him to steal souls of others, but he prefers to gamble with them in games that involve chance, which he will inevitably attempt to fix. Jotaro’s amazing ability to play poker bluffs has allowed him to defeat the other players and free the souls that he took. Best JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Villains
D’Arby’s uniqueness is not only his taste in vests but also the fact that unlike many JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure villains he’s not suited to fight in combat. D’Arby’s shrewd intelligence allows him to steal half of the Stardust Crusaders Team’s souls and almost defeat Jotaro. The hero is, however, fooled into catatonia by folding on four kings in a poker hand where he never even looked at his cards. However, this fitting ending doesn’t make him less interesting.
29. Steely Dan

First, Steely Dan deserves major credit for his moniker. It is a reference to the 1970s jazz-influenced rock band of the same title. Dan’s Stand, The Lovers, is what really sets him apart. It is microscopic in size and crawls into the victim’s ear. Then it attaches to the brain stem. There it uses its power, magnifying any attack on Steely Dan, reflecting back to the attacker. It can also implant Dio’s flesh buds and kill its host from the inside.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure builds viewer animosity towards Steely Dan, despite his brief appearance on Stardust Crusaders. Jotaro uses The Lovers to hold Jotaro hostage. He threatens his relative with pain if he does not follow Dan’s orders. Jotaro, who is beaten and forced to rob jewelry stores while the villain gloats in his defeat, eventually makes Steely Dan pay. Once Joseph is freed from The Lovers, Jotaro can finally make Steely Dan pay. This buildup makes Steely Dan’s defeat one of the most satisfying dispatches by a bad guy throughout the anime’s run.
28. Terunosuke Miyamoto

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has characters that are so strong and powerful, it is hard to believe they can strike terror into the hearts of those who have to confront them. Terunosuke Miyamoto isn’t one of these characters. Even the minor villain in Diamond Is Unbreakable admitted that his Enigma ability, which allows him to turn someone into paper if they can identify the mannerisms that indicate their fear, is kinda lame. But, unless we are cheaters like Daniel J. D’Arby, we must play the hand that’s dealt to us.
This particular baddie is remarkable because of the distance he can get from such an impenetrable Stand. Josuke and his friends are quickly able to recognize their fear expressions and trap them in paper form. It’s then a matter of using a paper shredder to create an extremely dangerous situation that can be narrowly avoided. Josuke and his crew are saved and take fitting revenge by trapping Miyamoto with a book which he then donates to a library. Although he’s not the strongest villain Joestars have ever faced, Stand-wise is a great example of how to make evil lemonade from lemons. Best JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Villains
27. Masazo Kinoto

This character was briefly introduced by Diamond Is Unbreakable. The reason he’s here is because of his Stand which happens to be the true villain. The Stand, also known as Cheap Trick, has caused Kishibe Rohan a lot of problems. This Stand attaches to the back of anyone who sees it. The user will instantly be killed if they look at their back. It is almost impossible to eradicate it. It will attach itself to the host if it is seen by another person.
26. Carne

Carne was an original character that was introduced in Golden Wind but received very little screen time. His Stand, Notorious B.I.G. is what makes him on this list. After the death of the user, this Stand activates. It slowly eats away any flesh touched by the remains of the user after activation. This is because it can consume Stand energy and human flesh simultaneously, making it difficult to manage. It can absorb Stand energy and is therefore immune to Stand attacks, making it very difficult to handle. Best JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Villains
25. Gray Fly

In Stardust Crusaders, Jotaro Kujo must travel to Egypt to defeat an evil enemy and save his mother’s life. Jotaro and Joseph Joestar, his grandfather, are attacked while he tries to fly from Japan into Egypt. Gray Fly, a Stand user with the Tower of Gray’s power, can control a huge stag beetle at amazing speeds that can easily tear open flesh.
Gray Fly was involved in numerous crimes and mass murders, including train crashes and plane crashes. Gray Fly is not a fool. He, unlike most of the villains in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, is a cold-blooded killer who has a large body count.
24. Anjuro Katagiri

Diamond Is Unbreakable begins with a serial killer who has made his mark in a small coastal town in Japan. Anjuro Katagiri is the killer. He is a Stand user who can control and kill anyone it touches. After having his victims swallow his Stand, he uses it mostly to kill.
Anjuro, who was 12 years old, was convicted for rape and robbery. After serving 20 years in prison, he was sentenced to death for his crimes. He survives and gains his abilities. Then he embarks on a killing spree that ends with him running into Josuke Higashikata who is the Joestar who eventually brings him down.
23. Terence T. D’Arby

Jotaro meets the Dio Brando henchmen as he attempts to save his mother. Terence T. D’Arby is one such villain. He can win the hearts of others by placing bets and completing challenges.
Terence, unlike most villains on the show, is extremely intelligent and confident in his abilities. He doesn’t resort to violence to stop the group. He tricks them into fighting against his video games. He takes someone’s soul and places it in a doll after he beats them. He keeps the souls of the people he beat and keeps them locked up. A small collection is what he shows the group.
22. Bug-Eaten

Although most of the animals on this list are humans, Bug-Eaten refers to two rats who gained special powers from being shot with the magic bow by Akira Otoishi. Bug-Eaten attacked Jotaro as well as Josuke after surviving an arrow wound. Ratt, a Stand ability similar to a sniper rifle that fires corrosive darts more than 200 feet away melting anything it touches, is an example of a sniper rifle. Jotaro was almost killed by these rats, something that has been done before.
21. Pet Shop

Pet Shop is the most violent and dangerous antagonist in the franchise. It is a falcon and acts as a guardian for DIO’s mansion.
Its Stand, [Horus], is a simple one. The ability to manipulate and create ice that it can launch like a missile. But it is extremely effective when controlled by a swift and powerful bird.
20. Ungalo

Ungalo, a drug addict and prone to anger problems, is DIO’s unnamed child. His father had many of the worst traits, including a sense of sadness and a desire for revenge. He had been an ambitious and hopeless person his entire life. But his encounter with Pucci changed his mind.
Bohemian Rhapsody can be used by Ungalo to bring to life fictional characters drawn in any media. They are free to roam the Earth and cause havoc.
19. Tooru

Tooru isn’t higher up because we haven’t seen enough of him yet. Although he’s already shaping up to be the main antagonist of JoJolion (if one exists), his goals aren’t yet clear.
He is, however, the youngest and most cheerful of the main antagonists. He has a youthful haircut and fashion sense and an interest in music and love. He’s a character that’s ambiguously complex and deep, much like the rest of the cast. Let’s hope he grows to greater heights!
18. Ghiaccio

Ghiaccio is one of the minor antagonists in Vento Aureo. He is an assassin of La Squadra Esecuzioni, who rebels against Diavolo. He looks for his daughter to take over Passione’s drug trafficking.
Ghiaccio’s “Stand” is the White Album. It is a full-body, nearly impenetrable garment with ice skate-like feet. His armor allows him the ability to easily destroy a stone statue or to skate fast enough for an 80 km/h car. Giorno & Mista have found Ghiaccio’s inability to freeze objects around them to be a formidable foe.
17. Ringo Roadagain
Ringo Roadagain was the favorite minor antagonist in just three chapters. Ringo is cool, from his smart, sleek cowboy look to his calm, cool use of his Stand [Mandom].
Ringo was born with a weak disposition that he had to overcome. He killed the man who murdered his family shortly thereafter and devoted himself to self-realization. He is more than an antagonist to Gyro or Johnny. He inspires them both and embeds his ideology within Gyro. A true Araki icon.
16. Cioccolata
Cioccolata was an eccentric individual who experimented on his patients. He was a freak who had no respect for human life. Even Diavolo had a second thought before he ordered Cioccolata to pursue Giorno and his group.
Cioccolata’s Green Day is a deadly Stand that allowed him to take control of a city in a matter of minutes. The deadly mold that the Stand produces is capable of spreading quickly, making it easy to wipe out entire communities. This makes it an extremely powerful Stand ability.
15. Akira Otoishi
Akira Otoishi is a major antagonist in Diamond is Unbreakable, the fourth volume of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series, particularly in the Red Hot Chili Pepper story arc. An aspiring musician, he has committed many crimes throughout Morioh and tries to get rid of the Morioh warriors who stand in his path.
Red Hot Chili Pepper is his Stand. It’s a tiny humanoid that can absorb electricity to create power. Red Hot Chili Pepper can quickly erect strong Stands when he is near a power source.
14. Blackmore

Blackmore, the soft-spoken henchman of Funny Valentine, acts as a bodyguard as well as an assassin. He’s eventually used to get the Corpse Parts.
He is wearing a hooded jacket and, when he activates Stand, [Catch the Rainbow], the mask allows him to walk on frozen raindrops in the air. The drop is then given momentum and he can fire it off with an accumulated velocity. He is able to tear through everything with the force of bullets.
His Stand has a specific condition that it must rain. However, it is incredibly powerful and a situational trump card.
Because of his unique personality and brilliant design, he’s my favorite Steel Ball Run villain.
13. Miu Miu

Miuccia Miuller, better known as Miu Miu, is a secondary antagonist in Stone Ocean, the sixth volume of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series, namely in the Guido Mista who is one of JoJo‘s most beloved characters. Although he is often cowardly, he was also able to get the courage to shoot Dio in his back. He lives for the sheer audacity.
12. Sandman

Sandman started out as a neutral character in Run. However, he became a member of Funny Valentine’s group as the race progressed. Sandman took part in the Steel Ball Run race to win the prize money to help him buy his ancestral land back.
Sandman was the only person who did not use a horse to participate in the race. He raced the race barefoot, and was surprised to be among the top runners. In a Silent Way was Sandman’s Stand, although it wasn’t the strongest, but it caused a lot of trouble for Gyro, Johnny, and others.
11. Wamuu

Wamuu, who is more popular than his leader, is Joseph’s third Pillar Man. He is a true warrior: loyal to his friends, honorable, respectful of worthy opponents and disgusted at cowardice. These traits will ultimately lead to his death but they are what make him so beloved.
Wamuu is responsible for Joseph’s friend Caesar’s death. However, his chariot race fight with Joseph is one of the most memorable episodes of . He even goes so far as to gouge his eyes in an attempt to defeat Joseph’s manipulations.
10. Risotto Nero

Risotto, the proud and cold leader of Passione’s execution squad, is no one to be messed with. His black-gray color scheme reflects his ability to manipulate iron. Even trace amounts. He can even form razor blades in the bloodstream of his target.
Risotto continues to fight for the unmasking of the Boss, even after two members of his team were killed to warn him to back off. As the last survivor from La Squadra, Risotto finds the Boss by accident, hiding in the Stand user Doppio. Risotto is as intimidating as Diavolo and Doppio, but he comes so close to winning that he even uses Aerosmith to kill him and try to take the Boss out.
09. Satoru Akefu

Satoru Akefu is Tooru’s likeness and is a major antagonist in JoJolion. He is the head physician at TG University Hospital, and the alleged mastermind behind the Locacaca Organization. His primary ability is to control a “natural laws of calamity,” which is a form of bad energy that cannot easily be controlled.
It can be contained and operated over large areas, making it very lethal due to its lack of defense. Satoru is also a Wonder of U Stand. He is powered by the “calamities” of those who see him. It is also revealed Satoru Akefu robbed another man of his identity and that Tooru uses his Stand User.
08. Vinegar Doppio

Vinegar Doppio, a delusional Vinegar Doppio, believes he is a trusted subordinate to the Passione Boss. He is frequently contacted by phones in the environment. He is the Boss in reality – or at least, his other half Diavolo.
Although he doesn’t technically possess a Stand, he relies on a partial use of [King Crimson] that was lent to him by Diavolo. He’s an eccentric, well-designed character who steals every scene in which he appears.
07. Diavolo

Part 5’s antagonist, Diavolo, is Trish Una and Passione’s boss. Vinegar Doppio’s secret alter, Diavolo wields King Crimson – a powerful Stand that can erase time and allow you to look into the future. Epitaph, a sub-Stand, enabled Diavolo to see the future and avoid potentially fatal strikes.
King Crimson is almost unbeatable in battle because he can either anticipate and counter the enemy’s actions, or erase the time they occur. To keep his identity secret, he is obsessed with hiding any evidence of his past life or his current presence.
06. Diego Brando

Diego, the alternate universe equivalent of Dio Brando, has the same intelligence and British wit as Dio. He also has a superiority complex. He is a major antagonist, with ambivalent ideals and ambitions. He will play any side in order to win.
He is now able to receive his own version of the Corpse’s left eye after being infected while he was a dinosaur. This happened due to Dr. Ferdinand’s [Scary Monsters] effects. He can turn himself and others into prehistoric animals, which he uses to win the Steel Ball Run. He is far more complex than Dio’s original universe, has a cooler character design, and constantly changes his wants.
05. Kars

Part 2’s main antagonist is Kars, who is the leader of Pillar Men and mastermind behind the Stone Mask. He is a skilled and intelligent assassin and his goal is to use the Red Stone of Aja in order to transform himself into the perfect being.
Despite his hatred for humans and willingness to kill them all, he is more compassionate towards other sentient beings. Kars was made invincible after attaining the ultimate form of living. He was immortalized and made immune to UV sun rays. This was his only flaw before he became an ultimate form of life.
04. Enrico Pucci

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure featured many strong antagonists, but Enrico Pucci from Stone Ocean is the most well-known. Enrico Pucci is JoJo’s main antagonist in the sixth arc. He is named after Emilio Pucci and Enrico Coveri.
He is determined to fulfill a prophecy which will bring about “heaven”, and give Dio eternal happiness. Although he wanted to create an evil-free world, he didn’t realize that he was denying people their individuality. Pucci was able to speed up time and created a new universe.
03. Yoshikage Kira

Kira Yoshikage may be the most original JoJo villain. He is the most ambitious villain in the series. Kira wanted to be anonymous and to kill women to satisfy his desires. He didn’t have lofty goals like wanting to be king of the world.
Kira’s Stand Killer Queen, in addition to his unique personality, is extremely versatile. Kira was able to hide his identity for many years thanks to the Stand’s different bomb types.
02. Funny Valentine

JoJo’s most complicated antagonist is Funny Valentine. He is the 23rd President of the United States. He established Steel Ball Run as a front to retrieve the holy Corpse Parts of Jesus Christ.
His Stand [Dirty Deeds Done Cheap] allows him to cross dimensions in order to defend himself and his family. His design is unashamedly patriotic and extravagant. He embodies these values and his philosophy.
He wants the USA to win, regardless of cost. His dialogue with Johnny towards its climax is one of the best parts of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

01. Dio Brando

There’s no character quite like Dio Brando. Although he initially only wanted to get out of poverty and take the Joestar fortune from Jonathan, his ambitions soar once he uses the Stone Mask to become a vampire. After grafting his head onto Jonathan’s body, he survives being beheaded and gains a large following of strange characters. He aspires not only to dominate the world but also to attain heaven.
For his unrepentant, outrageous and outlandish performance of his evil deeds, Dio is JoJo the most hated villain. Although his enormous ego fuels everything that he does (his name is God and he expects the rest of the world to treat him like such), he is never reckless and has the intelligence and strength necessary to carry it out.
