A brand new animated series by the creators of the popular Netflix animated series Castlevania is now available. Blood of Zeus The series, where we dive into Greek mythology, was made available on Netflix from the 27th of October in 2020. The initial season of the series is comprised of eight episodes. How many seasons has the animated series filmed? Will there be a sequel series of the show? When will it premiere? This fantastic action-genre film, as the title suggests, is about Greek mythology. Produced by the production firm Powerhouse as well as Seis Manos, the producers of the show comprise Charley Parlapanides and Vlas Parlapanides. While there are a lot of productions related to Greek mythology, the fact that there are few shows that truly are able to work with Greek mythology places Blood of Zeus one step above the rest.

What is BLOOD of ZEUS ALL ABOUT?

The show focuses on Heron, a member of the people who live on the outskirts of Greece during the conflict among The Olympian gods and Titans. Heron found out that his dad was Zeus, and the terrible mysteries of the past. It’s the only chance for humanity to win the battle against the armies of demons.

The main thing we’d like to emphasize is that it has been popular in animation studio productions and is able to ensure the continuity of seasons. As of December 29th, 2021, we haven’t heard any word as of yet when a new season of the show will premiere on Netflix. It’s been a long time since the announcement of renewal was made. Given that the average production time is one year, it is likely that we will get to watch the next season of the anime in the near future. It is believed that the show will be back on screens in early 2022.

The producers previously said they’re planning five seasons of the show. This is great news, however, the way Netflix manages its producers is crucial. Furthermore, a fresh season’s approval isn’t easy with a decrease in popularity. At the moment, viewers are lucky to get the second season to be a success.

The cast of Blood of Zeus season 2

The characters you love from the previous season are set to be back with the show, for example, Derek Phillips as Heron, Jessica Henwick as Alexia, Elias Toufexis as Seraphim, Adam Croasdell as Apollo, and Matthew Mercer as Hermes. There’s been no announcement about which actors will be returning for the series in the near coming seasons. In the finale of season one, Zeus (Jason O’Mara) offered his life to protect his wife Hera (Jennifer Garner) (Claudia Christian). The last time we saw Hera she was in a critical situation, but she was able to escape. Hera is probably planning her next move. However, considering that they are eternal in the realm of fantasy and can be resurrected at any time, resurrection is definitely in the realm of possibility (but we’ll get to that later). In essence, it’s not a good idea to let these characters go at this point.

The guest star from last season, Hades (Fred Tatasciore) will return this season. The primary antagonist for Season 2 will likely be Hades, the Greek god of the underworld, which means Tatasciore will be playing a more prominent role.

What is the storyline in Blood of Zeus season 2?

Based on the success of Season 1, creators Charley and Vlas Parlapanides declare they are confident that Season 2 will build on the foundations of Season 1. The episodes for this week are being planned as per an interview by Inverse in which they state, “Heron and Seraphim’s stories will continue in season 2 the same way as they did in the first season. Things that transpired in season one that are actually built up in this second part of the show are contained in the 20-page structure for season 2. The series goes back to the period when the brothers split the world into three parts that were spiritual, physical and the intellectual.”

If you’re a big fan of Jason O’Mara and have been looking forward to seeing him return as Thunder God, this is great news. In an interview later, the Parlapanides brothers revealed that they’ve got plans for a five-season storyline should Netflix continue to take on the show. What would Blood of Zeus become with the wealth of Greek mythology to choose from?

Is there a season TWO TRAILER FOR BLOOD OF ZEUS?

The second season of Blood of Zeus has yet to be teased by an image. Season 2 of the fantasy and sci-fi Twitter account @NXonNetflix released an announcement teaser that used video from the Season 1 season to confirm its existence. The teaser is now available to view here. Prior to Season 2 of BLOOD OF ZEUS, which is out on Netflix, it is expected that there will be a trailer.
